Garder l'appareil hors de la portée des enfants et des personnes non
autorisées.
Risque d’électrocution lors de l’ouverture du boîtier. Toucher un câble sous
tension peut causer des électrochocs mortels. Ne jamais démonter ni ouvrir
le boîtier soi-même. La réparation de l'appareil doit être effectuée par un
technicien qualifié.

L'appareil ne contient aucune pièce réparable par l'utilisateur. Commander

chaleur peut faire enflammer les produits inflammables, même s’ils ne sont
pas visibles. Utiliser uniquement dans un endroit bien ventilé.
Ne pas utiliser l’appareil dans des endroits où sont stockés des matériaux

L'appareil chauffe pendant l’usage. Ne jamais toucher la tête du brûleur ou la
plaque thermique durant l'usage. Laisser refroidir l'appareil pendant 30
minutes. Certains éléments de l'appareil chauffent fortement, même après un
emploi bref.
N’utilisez pas l’appareil sous la pluie ni dans des endroits humides.
Attention !
Avant toute intervention sur l'appareil, débranchez la fiche du secteur.

Ne jamais laisser un appareil allumé sans surveillance.
Ne jamais pointer le brûleur directement en direction de personnes ou d’animaux.
Ne pas appliquer trop longtemps le désherbeur au même endroit.
Porter des chaussures et des gants appropriés durant l'usage.
Ne jamais utiliser l'appareil avec les mains mouillées.
Ne jamais faire fonctionner l'appareil sous l'influence de l'alcool, de drogues ou de médicaments.
Ne pas utiliser l'appareil si vous êtes malade ou fatigué.

Il est interdit de modifier l'appareil pour des raisons de sécurité. Les dommages occasionnés par
des modifications par le client ne tombent pas sous la garantie.
N’utiliser l'appareil qu’à sa fonction prévue. Un usage interdit peut annuler d'office la garantie.
Déconnecter immédiatement l'appareil si le câble d'alimentation est endommagé.
Ne jamais bloquer l'entrée d'air de l'appareil.
Les dommages occasionnés par des modifications à l'appareil par le client, ne tombent pas sous la
garantie et votre revendeur déclinera toute responsabilité pour les problèmes et les défauts qui en
résultent.
Cet appareil ne convient pas à un usage professionnel.
Cet appareil est exclusivement destiné à éliminer les mauvaises herbes entre les dalles, sur les
pavés, des briques, entre les plates-bandes et pelouses durant la période de végétation.
Vous pouvez également utiliser l'appareil pour allumer un barbecue au charbon à l'extérieur.

EMPLOI
Brancher l'appareil sur la prise de courant.
Allumer l'appareil avec le bouton on/off.
Notes
Le bois sec, les feuilles, les aiguilles de sapin et les herbes sèches peuvent s'enflammer. Observer les
plantes traitées au bout d'un certain temps après le traitement.
Le printemps est la meilleure période pour éliminer les mauvaises herbes. Les résultats ne sont pas visibles
immédiatement.
Les plantes plus anciennes avec des feuilles dures (p.ex. chardons) ne sèchent qu'après plusieurs
traitements, à des intervalles de 1 à 2 semaines. Certains types d'herbes sont très tenaces et nécessitent une
durée d'exposition plus longue.
Il suffit de chauffer les mauvaises herbes, il ne faut pas les brûler. Ainsi, les cellules végétales des feuilles
sèchent et les mauvaises herbes meurent.
Certaines espèces de mauvaises herbes nécessitent plusieurs traitements.

NETTOYAGE ET ENTRETIEN
Débrancher la prise de courant :
o Si l'appareil ne fonctionne pas correctement
o Avant tout nettoyage
o Après chaque utilisation
Laisser refroidir l’appareil avant de le stocker.
Si nécessaire, essuyer l'appareil avec un chiffon sec, non pelucheux ou une brosse.
Ne jamais immerger l’appareil dans un liquide.
Si l'appareil tombe dans l'eau, débrancher le immédiatement. Ne jamais sortir l'appareil de l'eau lorsqu'il est
branché.

ENTREPOSAGE
_ Nettoyez soigneusement toute la machine et ses accessoires.
_ Entreposez-la hors de la portée des enfants, dans une position stable et sûre, dans un lieu sec et tempéré,
évitez les températures trop hautes ou trop basses.
_ Protégez-la du rayonnement direct du soleil. Tenez-la, si possible, dans le noir.
_ Ne l’enfermez pas dans des sacs en plastique car de l’humidité pourrait s'y former.

ENVIRONNEMENT
Si, après un certain temps, vous décidez de remplacer votre machine, ne vous en

VEILIGHEIDSVOORSCHRIFTEN
Uitsluitend voor gebruik buitenshuis.
Houd dit toestel buiten het bereik van kinderen en onbevoegden.
Elektrocutiegevaar bij het openen van het toestel. Raak geen kabels aan die
onder stroom staan, om dodelijke elektrische schokken te vermijden. Open
de behuizing niet zelf. Laat het onderhoud van het toestel over aan een
vakman.
Dit toestel is niet geschikt voor gebruik door personen (kinderen inbegrepen)
met verminderde fysieke, zintuiglijke of geestelijke capaciteiten of gebrek
aan ervaring en kennis, tenzij zij onder toezicht staan of instructie hebben
gekregen over het gebruik van het toestel van een persoon die
verantwoordelijk is voor hun veiligheid.
Houd toezicht op kinderen om te voorkomen dat ze met het apparaat gaan
spelen.
Er zijn geen onderdelen in het toestel die door de gebruiker gerepareerd
kunnen worden. Contacteer uw verdeler voor eventuele reserveonderdelen.
Vermijd gebruik in de buurt van brandbare producten of explosieve gassen.
Hitte kan brandbare stoffen doen ontbranden, ook al zijn deze stoffen niet
zichtbaar. Gebruik enkel in een goed geventileerde ruimte.
Gebruik het toestel niet in plaatsen waar ontvlambare materialen aanwezig
zijn.
Dit toestel wordt zeer warm tijdens het gebruik. Raak de brandkop of het
hitteschild nooit aan tijdens het gebruik. Laat het toestel 30 minuten
afkoelen. Sommige onderdelen worden, zelfs na kort gebruik, heel warm.
Gebruik het apparaat niet bij neerslag of in een vochtige omgeving.
Opgelet!
Trek de stekker uit het stopcontact vóór u aan het toestel werkt.
Klasse II-toestel.
Laat het toestel nooit onbeheerd achter.
Richt de brander nooit naar mensen of dieren.
Gebruik de onkruidbrander niet langdurig op dezelfde plaats.
Draag geschikte schoenen en handschoenen wanneer u het toestel gebruikt.
Gebruik het toestel nooit met natte handen.
Gebruik dit toestel niet wanneer u onder invloed van alcohol, drugs of medicijnen bent.
Gebruik het toestel niet wanneer u ziek of moe bent.
Gebruik het toestel niet als warmtebron binnenshuis, voor het smelten van ijs en sneeuw of ander
gebruik (zie hierboven).

De beschikbare netspanning mag niet hoger zijn dan de spanning in de specificaties achteraan de
handleiding.
Gebruik het toestel niet in de regen.
Bewaar deze handleiding voor verdere raadpleging.
ALGEMENE RICHTLIJNEN
Bescherm het toestel tegen stof en extreme temperaturen.
Bescherm tegen schokken. Vermijd brute kracht tijdens de bediening van het
toestel.
Leer eerst de functies van het toestel kennen voor u het gaat gebruiken.
Om veiligheidsredenen mag u geen wijzigingen aan het apparaat aanbrengen. Schade door
wijzigingen die de gebruiker heeft aangebracht valt niet onder de garantie.
Gebruik het toestel enkel waarvoor het gemaakt is. De garantie vervalt automatisch bij ongeoorloofd
gebruik.
Ontkoppel het toestel onmiddellijk indien de voedingskabel beschadigd is.
Blokkeer nooit de luchtinlaat van het toestel.
De garantie geldt niet voor schade door het negeren van bepaalde richtlijnen in deze handleiding en
uw dealer zal de verantwoordelijkheid afwijzen voor defecten of problemen die hier rechtstreeks verband
mee houden.
Dit toestel is niet geschikt voor professioneel gebruik.
Dit toestel dient uitsluitend voor het verwijderen van onkruid tussen tegels, op verharde
oppervlakken, van stenen, in bloemperken en gazons tijdens de bloeiperiode.
Dit toestel is eveneens geschikt voor het aansteken van houtskoolbarbecues buitenshuis.
Respecteer de instructies en voorschriften van de fabrikant.

GEBRUIK
Steek de stekker in het stopcontact.
Schakel het toestel in met de aan/uit-knop.
Opmerkingen
Droog hout, bladeren, dennennaalden en droog gras kunnen ontbranden. Bekijk de behandelde planten een
tijdje na de behandeling.
De beste periode om onkruid te verdelgen is de lente. De resultaten zijn niet onmiddellijk zichtbaar.
Oudere planten met harde bladeren (bv. distels) drogen pas na een herhaalde behandeling, met
tussenpozen van één tot twee weken. Bepaalde grassoorten zijn zeer hardnekkig hebben en moeten langer
behandeld worden.

U hoeft het onkruid enkel te verhitten, verbranden is niet nodig. Op deze manier drogen de bladcellen uit
en sterft het onkruid af.
Bepaalde onkruidsoorten hebben een herhaalde behandeling nodig.
REINIGING EN ONDERHOUD
Trek de stekker uit het stopcontact:
o Wanneer het toestel niet correct functioneert
o Voor elke reiniging
o Na elk gebruik
Laat toestel afkoelen voor u het opbergt.
Indien nodig, maak het toestel geregeld schoon met een droge, niet pluizende doek of borstel.
Dompel het toestel nooit onder in een vloeistof.
Als het toestel in het water valt, ontkoppel het onmiddellijk. Grijp er nooit naar wanneer het toestel
aangesloten is.

OPSLAG
Reinig zorgvuldig de gehele machine en het toebehoren.
Berg de machine op buiten het bereik van kinderen, in een stabiele en veilige positie en op een droge plaats
met een gematigde temperatuur. Vermijd te hoge en te lage temperaturen.
Bescherm de machine tegen direct invallend licht. Bewaar ze, indien mogelijk, op een donkere plaats.
Bewaar de machine niet in plastic of Nylon zakken om te vermijden dat er zich vocht ophoopt.
GARANTIE

MILIEU

Outdoor use only.
Keep this device away from children and unauthorized users.
Risk of electroshock when opening the cover. Touching live wires can cause
life-threatening electroshocks. Do not disassemble or open the housing
yourself. Have the device repaired by qualified personnel.
This appliance is not int
ended for use by persons (including children) with
reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities, or lack of experience and
knowledge, unless they have been given supervision or instruction
concerning use of the appliance by a person responsible for their safety.
Children shall be supervised to ensure that they do not play with the
appliance.
There are no user-serviceable parts inside the device. Refer to an authorized
dealer for service and/or spare parts.
Do not use near inflammable products or in explosive atmospheres. Heat can
cause fire to inflammable products even when they are not in sight. Only use
in properly ventilated areas.
Be careful when using the appliance in places where there are combustible
materials.
Device heats up during use. Never touch the nozzle or heat shield while

device get really hot, even after a short use.

masonry, in flower beds and lawns during the growth period.
You can also use the device for lighting charcoal barbecues outdoors. Observe the operating

OPERATION
Plug the device to the mains outlet.
Switch the device on with the on / off button.
Notes
Dry woods, leaves, pine needles and dry grasses may catch fire. Watch the treated plants for some time
after treatment.
The best time to treat sprawl is in the spring. The results are not visible immediately.
Older plants with hard leaves, such as thistles, dry earliest after repeated treatment at intervals of one to
two weeks. Some types of grasses are extremely robust and require a longer exposure to heat.
The weed needs only be heated. Burning is not necessary. The cells of the leaves dry out in this way and
the weed dies.
Certain weed species require repeated treatment.

CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE
The mains plug must be disconnected:
o When faults occurring during operation
o Before performing any cleaning
o After every use
Let the device cool down before storage.
If necessary, wipe the device with a dry, lint-free cloth or a brush.
Do not immerse the device in any liquid.
If the device falls into water, unplug it immediately. Never reach into the water when the unit is still
connected.
