mode)thepotential of Rx1+ishigherthanthepotential of Rx1-. Theconnectoris
describedinfollowingtable:
ToimprovethetransferovertheRS422 linetheterminatingresistors100 -120 Ω
canbeconnectedbetweenthecorrespondingpairof wires.Theinstallationof
terminatorsisveryeasybytheswitchingonthe
switchesonthebacksideof multiplexer.
Themaximumcablelengthbetweenenddevice
andmultiplexermustnotexceed1200 m.
Multiplexercanworkwithoutanysetting–the
data ratecanbeanyintherangefrom0to
230 000 bps.Thetransferdoesnotdependon
otherchannelsandonthecommunication
protocol.
3.4Twomultiplexersinterconnection
TheopticcableisconnectedthroughtheSCconnector(modelsE247,E249,
E24A,E24B),orSTone(modelsE246,249).Theremotemultiplexer’s
transmittermustbeconnectedtolocal receiverandremotereceivermustbe
connectedtolocal transmitter(thefibersarecrossing).Thecorrectlyconnected
multiplexersareindicatedbyLINK indicator.
