1.1 Functies en kenmerken
De Eminent EM3141 Draadloos Mini Toetsenbord is de perfecte uitbreiding voor je
Eminent HD media player. Typen van tekst is eenvoudig met behulp van de EM3141.
Bij het gebruik van je Eminent HD mediaspeler, zal het bezoeken van websites een
ervaring worden. Gebruik de touchpad van de EM3141 om gemakkelijk te navigeren

door websites. De EM3141 kan ook gebruikt worden als afstandsbediening voor je HD
mediaspeler.
Sommige knoppen van de EM3141 kunnen als sneltoetsen worden gebruikt wanneer
deze is aangesloten op je HD mediaspeler. Je kunt de 'O' knop van de EM3141
gebruiken om het optie-menu te openen tijdens het afspelen van bestanden, gebruik
de 'S' knop om bestanden te stoppen enz.
De EM3141 Draadloos Mini Toetsenbord heeft ook een backlight functie waarmee je
het toetsenbord kunt gebruiken, zelfs wanneer het donker is.
De EM3141 heeft een ingebouwde laseraanwijzer die gebruikt kan worden voor
(professionele) presentaties. Aangezien de EM3141 ook een ingebouwd toetsenbord
en touchpad functie heeft, kun je een computer of laptop bedienen, maar ook
presentaties geven met hetzelfde apparaat. De EM3141 heeft zelfs de mogelijkheid
om het touchpad 90 graden te draaien wat ideaal is voor je presentaties.
De EM3141 heeft een compact, elegant en eigentijds design. Dankzij het compacte
ontwerp is de EM3141 eenvoudig mee te nemen. De USB-ontvanger kan worden
bewaard in de EM3141 zelf.
De EM3141 is uitgerust met een Lithium-ion batterij die tot een maand stand-by tijd
heeft. Als de batterij leeg is, dan kun je deze gemakkelijk opladen door de EM3141 via
de meegeleverde USB kabel aan te sluiten op een USB poort van je mediaspeler of
computer.
Houd er rekening mee dat de functionaliteit van de knoppen kan variëren, afhankelijk
van het type mediaspeler dat je gebruikt.

2.0 Uitleg van de knoppen

1. Backlight knop: In/Uit schakelen van de achtergrond verlichting.
2. F1/Help knop: Activeert de helpfunctie (Windows).
3. Multimedia knoppen: Gebruikt om mediabestanden te beheren (Windows).
4. Touchpad: Gebruikt om de muis te gebruiken (Op dezelfde
manier als een laptop).
5. Laser LED: Laser aanwijzer. Voor gebruik bij een presentatie.
6. Rechter muisknop: Gebruik de rechtermuisknop om iets aan te klikken.
7. Navigatie knoppen: Navigeer door het menu (mediaspeler).
8. Linker muisknop: Gebruik de linkermuisknop om iets aan te klikken.
9. Laser knop: Zet de laser aan.
10. Alt knop: Draai het touchpad in combinatie met de Fn-knop
11. CTRL knop Snelkoppeling (Windows).
12. USB verbinding: Oplaad aansluiting. Gebruikt om de EM3141 op te
laden.
13. Aan/Uit schakelaar: In/Uit schakelen van de EM3141.
14. Indicatie lampjes: LED’s die de RF status, batterij status etc. aangeven.
15. USB ontvanger: Dient te worden aangesloten op een vrije USB-poort
van de mediaspeler of computer.

3.0 Gebruik de EM3141 met je Eminent HD
mediaspeler
3.1 Aansluiten van de EM3141
1. Neem de EM3141 en de ontvanger uit de verpakking.
2. Zorg er voor dat de mediaspeler volledig is opgestart.
3. Plaats de USB-ontvanger in een vrije USB-poort van de mediaspeler.
4. Zet de EM3141 aan door de powerknop naar ‘On’ te schuiven.
5. De EM3141 zal automatisch door de mediaspeler worden herkend.
3.2 Gebruik de EM3141 om een film af te spelen (of ander
media bestand)
De EM3141 kan op dezelfde manier worden gebruikt als de originele
afstandsbediening van je mediaspeler. We leggen uit hoe je een bestand kunt
afspelen met aparte (SRT) ondertiteling.
1. Gebruik de pijltjes knoppen onder het touchpad om te navigeren door het menu.
2. Ga naar ‘Films’ en druk op de ‘enter’ knop van de EM3141.
3. Druk op de ‘O’ knop van de EM3141 om het menu ‘Opties’ te zien.
4. Selecteer de film die je wilt afspelen en druk op de ‘Enter’ knop van de EM3141,
waarna de film begint met afspelen.
5. Om een ondertitel te selecteren, druk op de ‘O’ knop, selecteer ‘Ondertitel’ en
druk op de ‘Enter’ knop.
6. Selecteer de ondertitel en druk op de ‘Enter’ knop van de EM3141, waarna de
ondertitel ook wordt afgespeeld.
7. Als je de film wilt stoppen, druk je op de ‘S’ knop van de EM3141, waarna de film
stopt.
3.3 Gebruik de webbrowser van de mediaspeler met
behulp van de EM3141
1. Gebruik de pijltjes knoppen van de EM3141 om naar ‘Apps’ te gaan en druk op
de ‘Enter’ knop van de EM3141.
2. Selecteer de webbrowser en druk op de 'Enter' knop waarna de browserpagina
zal worden geopend.
3. Druk op de ‘O’ knop van de EM3141, waarna de adresbalk wordt weergegeven.
4. Selecteer de adresbalk en druk op de ‘Enter’ knop.
5. Je kunt nu een webadres invullen welke je wilt bezoeken.
6. Gebruik de pijltjestoetsen om ‘OK’ te selecteren en druk op de ‘Enter’ knop van
de EM3141.
7. Kies ‘Go’ met behulp van het touchpad en klik op ‘Go’ met behulp van de
linkermuisknop. De pagina wordt geopend.

8. Je kunt het touchpad en de muisknoppen gebruiken om door de website te
navigeren en links aan te klikken.
9. Als je een andere website wilt bezoeken, dan druk je opnieuw op de ‘O’ knop en
vul je een nieuwe website in de adresbalk in.
3.4 Snelkoppelingen
De EM3141 heeft een aantal knoppen die fungeren als snelkoppeling. Dit kan handig
zijn tijdens de navigatie of het afspelen van bestanden op je mediaspeler. We zullen
deze snelkoppelingen uitleggen.
Houd er rekening mee dat de functionaliteit van de knoppen kan variëren, afhankelijk
van het type mediaspeler die je gebruikt.

om een bestand te stoppen terwijl deze wordt afgespeeld.

Wordt gebruikt om de schermresolutie aan te passen.

Wordt gebruikt om de instellingen te openen / terug te keren naar het
hoofdmenu.

Wordt gebruikt om te schakelen tussen audiobronnen tijdens het
afspelen van bestanden.

Wordt gebruikt om het tijdvak venster weer te geven.
H
Wordt gebruikt om naar het hoofdmenu te gaan wanneer een categorie
(films etc) is geselecteerd.

Gebruikt om het geluid te dempen.
O
Wordt gebruikt om de adresbalk te openen wanneer je gebruik maakt
van de webbrowser. Ook gebruikt om het menu 'Opties' te openen
wanneer een mediabestand wordt afgespeeld.

Wordt gebruikt om een bestand te stoppen.

Wordt gebruikt om een bestand vertraagd af te spelen.

Wordt gebruikt om een bestand versneld af te spelen.

Wordt gebruikt om in te zoomen wanneer een bestand wordt
afgespeeld.
4.0 Gebruik de EM3141 op je computer
De EM3141 kan ook worden gebruikt op je computer als 'gewoon' toetsenbord en
muis. Ook kan de EM3141 worden gebruikt bij een presentatie.

4.1 Installeer en gebruik de EM3141 als toetsenbord en
muis.
1. Sluit de USB-ontvanger aan op een vrije USB-poort van je computer.
2. Zet de EM3141 aan door de powerknop naar ‘On’ te schuiven.
3. Mogelijk dat Windows aangeeft dat er een toetsenbord en muis is aangesloten.
Windows zal automatisch de juiste drivers installeren.
4. Je kunt nu de EM3141 als toetsenbord en muis gebruiken. Ook de F1-F8 en
multimedia knoppen zijn beschikbaar.
4.2 Gebruik de EM3141 voor presentaties
1. Zodra de EM3141 is geïnstalleerd, kun je de EM3141 gebruiken als presentator.
Volg de onderstaande stappen:
2. Gebruik de EM3141 om een presentatiebestand te selecteren zoals een .PPT-
bestand.
3. Zodra het bestand is geopend, kun je de navigatieknoppen gebruiken om de
volgende stap van de presentatie te selecteren of een stap terug te gaan.
4. Druk op de laser knop ( ) om de laser aanwijzer te activeren. Je dient de
laser knop in te blijven drukken om deze te blijven gebruiken.
Tip: Het touchpad kan 90 graden draaien door de ‘Fn’ en ‘Alt’ knop tegelijk in te
drukken. Dit is de ideale instelling wanneer je presenteert.
5.0 Andere functies
5.1 Gebruik de backlight van de EM3141
De EM3141 heeft ook een backlight functie die ideaal is als je in een donkere
omgeving bent.
1. Zorg ervoor dat de EM3141 op ‘On’ staat.
2. Druk op de backlight knop ( ) om de achtergrond verlichting te activeren. Alle
knoppen worden verlicht.
3. Druk nogmaals op de backlight knop om de achtergrond verlichting uit te
schakelen. De achtergrond verlichting wordt ook automatisch uitgeschakeld
wanneer je het toetsenbord 25 seconden niet gebruikt.
5.2 Opladen
Zodra de batterij van de EM3141 leeg is, dient de batterij te worden opgeladen. Zodra
de batterij (bijna) leeg is, zal het batterij-symbool op de EM3141 beginnen te
knipperen.

1. Sluit de meegeleverde USB-kabel aan op een vrije USB-poort van uw computer
of een vrije USB-poort van je mediaspeler.
2. Eenmaal aangesloten, zal het batterijsymbool veranderen in een rode kleur.
3. Zolang het batterijsymbool rood is, wordt de batterij opgeladen.
4. Wanneer de batterij volledig is opgeladen, zal het batterijlampje niet meer
branden.
5.3 Kanaal aanpassen
De EM3141 maakt gebruik van het 2.4Ghz kanaal. Mogelijk treedt er storing op bij
gebruik van meerdere 2.4Ghz apparaten. Daardoor kan de EM3141 mogelijk slechter
reageren. Volg onderstaande stappen om het kanaal van de EM3141 aan te passen.
1. Zorg ervoor dat de EM3141 op ‘On’ staat en de USB ontvanger aangesloten is
op je mediaspeler of computer.
2. Druk tegelijk op de knoppen 'Fn' en 'Alt'. De LED’s op het toetsenbord zullen
langzaam beginnen te knipperen.
3. Houd de 'FN' en 'Alt' knoppen tien seconden ingedrukt en laat deze daarna los.
4. De LED’s op het toetsenbord gaan vervolgens snel knipperen. Na enkele
ogenblikken beginnen de LED’s langzaam te knipperen waaruit blijkt dat het
kanaal is gewijzigd.

8.0 Waarschuwingen en aandachtspunten
Vanwege wet- en regelgeving bepaald door het Europese parlement, kan sommige
(draadloze) apparatuur onderhevig zijn aan beperkingen omtrent het gebruik in
bepaalde Europese lidstaten. In sommige Europese lidstaten kan het gebruik van
deze apparatuur verboden zijn. Neem contact op met je (lokale) overheid voor meer
informatie over deze beperkingen.
Volg ten allen tijde de instructies in de handleiding, speciaal wanneer het apparatuur
betreft wat geassembleerd dient te worden.
Waarschuwing: In de meeste gevallen gaat het om een elektronisch apparaat.
Verkeerd of oneigenlijk gebruik van het apparaat kan leiden tot (zware) verwondingen.
Het repareren van het apparaat dient uitgevoerd te worden door gekwalificeerd

9.0 Garantievoorwaarden
De garantietermijn van vijf jaar geldt voor alle Eminent producten, tenzij anders
aangegeven op het moment van aankoop. Bij aankoop van een tweedehands Eminent
product resteert de garantieperiode gemeten vanaf het moment van de aankoop door
de eerste eigenaar. De Eminent garantieregeling is van toepassing op alle Eminent
producten en onderdelen onlosmakelijk verbonden met het betreffende product.
Voedingen, batterijen, accu’s, antennes en alle andere producten niet geïntegreerd in
of direct verbonden met het hoofdproduct of producten waarvan redelijkerwijs mag
worden aangenomen dat deze een ander slijtagepatroon kennen dan het
hoofdproduct vallen derhalve niet onder de Eminent garantieregeling. De garantie
vervalt tevens bij onjuist of oneigenlijk gebruik, externe invloeden en/of bij opening van
de behuizing van het betreffende product door partijen anders dan Eminent.

1.1 Functions and features
The Eminent EM3141 Wireless Mini Keyboard is the ultimate extension for your
Eminent HD media player. Typing text is easy using the EM3141. When using your
Eminent HD media player, visiting websites will become an experience. Use the
touchpad of the EM3141 to easily navigate through websites. The EM3141 can also
be used as remote control for your HD media player.

Some buttons on the EM3141 also act as shortcut when connected to your HD media
player. You can use the ‘O’ button on the EM3141 to open the option menu while
playing files, use the ‘S’ button to stop files etc.
The EM3141 Wireless Mini Keyboard also has a backlight function which allows you to
use the keyboard even when it is dark.
The EM3141 has a built-in laser pointer which can be used for (professional)
presentations. Since the EM3141 also has a built-in keyboard and touchpad function,
you will be able to control your computer or laptop, but also being able to present
using one and the same device. The EM3141 even has the possibility to rotate the
touchpad 90 degrees which is ideal for your presentations.
The EM3141 has a compact, elegant and contemporary design. Thanks to it’s
compact design, the EM3141 is easy to carry. The USB receiver can be stored in the
EM3141 itself.
The EM3141 is equipped with a Lithium-ion battery with a stand-by time up to a
month. If the battery is depleted, you can easily recharge the battery by connecting the
EM3141 to the supplied USB cable and connecting the other end to a USB port of
your media player or computer.
Please note that functionality of buttons may vary , depending on the type mediaplayer
you are using.

1. Backlight button: Turn the backlight on/off.
2. F1/Help button: Activates the help function (Windows).
3. Multimedia buttons: Used to control media files (Windows).
4. Touchpad: Used to control the mouse indicator in the same way as
on a notebook)
5. Laser LED: Laser of the pointer. Used when presenting.
6. Right mouse button: Used to right-click an item.
7. Navigation buttons: Used to navigate through the menu’s (media player).
8. Left mouse button: Used to left-click an item.
9. Laser button: Used to activate the laser.
10. Alt button: Used to rotate the touchpad in combination with the Fn
button.
11. CTRL button Shortcut (Windows).
12. USB connection: Charging interface. Used to charge the EM3141.
13. On/Off switch: Used to switch the EM3141 on and off.
14. Indicator LED’s:LED’s which indicate the RF status, battery status etc.
15. USB receiver: Needs to be connected to a free USB port of the media
player or computer.

3.0 Using the EM3141 with your Eminent HD
media player
3.1 Connecting the EM3141
1. Take the EM3141 and receiver out of the packing.
2. Make sure your media player is completely started.
3. Place the USB receiver into a free USB port of the media player.
4. Turn on the EM3141 by sliding the power button to the ‘ON’ position.
5. The media player will recognize the EM3141 automatically.
3.2 Using the EM3141 to play a movie (or other media file)
The EM3141 can be used on the same manner as the original remote control of the
media player. We will explain how to play a movie with separate (SRT) subtitles.
1. Use the arrow buttons beneath the touchpad to navigate through the menu.
2. Go to ‘Movies’ and press the ‘enter’ button on the EM3141.
3. Press the ‘O’ button on the EM3141 if you want to see the ‘Options’ menu.
4. Select the movie you want to play and press the ‘Enter’ button on the EM3141
after which the movie starts to play.
5. To select the subtitle, press the ‘O’ button, select ‘Subtitle’ and press the ‘Enter’
button.
6. Select the subtitle and press the ‘Enter’ button on the EM3141 after which the
subtitle starts to play.
7. If you want to stop the movie, press the ‘S’ button on the EM3141 after which the
movie will be stopped.
3.3 Using the EM3141 with the webbrowser of a media
player
1. Use the arrow buttons of the EM3141 to go to ‘Apps’ and press the ‘Enter’ button
of the EM3141.
2. Select the web browser and press the ‘Enter’ button after which the browser page
will be opened.
3. Press the ‘O’ button on the EM3141 after which the address bar will be shown.
4. Select the address bar and press the ‘Enter’ button.
5. You can now fill out the web address you want to visit.
6. Use the arrow buttons to select ‘OK’ and press the ‘Enter’ button on the EM3141.
7. Select ‘Go’ using the touchpad and click ‘Go’ using the left mouse button. The
page will be opened.
8. You can use the touchpad and the mouse buttons to navigate through the
website and be able to click links.

9. If you want to visit another website, then you have to press the ‘O’ button again
and fill out a new website in the address bar.
3.4 Shortcut
The EM3141 has some buttons which function as shortcut. This can be handy while
browsing or playing files on your media player. We will explain these shortcuts.
Please note that functionality of buttons may vary , depending on the type mediaplayer
you are using.

4.0 Using the EM3141 on your computer
The EM3141 can also be used on your computer as a ‘regular’ keyboard and mouse.
Also, the EM3141 can be used when presenting.
4.1 Installing and using the EM3141 as keyboard and
mouse
1. Connect the USB receiver to a free USB port on your computer.
2. Turn on the EM3141 by sliding the power button to the ‘ON’ position.
3. It is possible Windows notifies you a keyboard and mouse have been found.
Windows will automatically install the correct drivers.

4. You will now be able to use the EM3141 as keyboard and mouse. Also, the F1-
F8 and multimedia buttons will be available.
4.2 Using the EM3141 with presentations
1. Once the EM3141 has been installed, you can also use the EM3141 as
presenter. Use the following steps:
2. Use the EM3141 to select a presentation file such as a .PPT file.
3. Once the file has been opened, you can use the navigation buttons to select the
next step of the presentation or to go back one step.
4. Press the laser button( ) to activate the laser pointer itself. You need to
keep pressing the laser button if you want to keep using the laser pointer.
Hint: The touchpad can rotate 90 degrees by pressing the ‘Fn’ and ‘Alt’ button
simultaneously. This is the ideal setting when presenting.
5.0 Other functions
5.1 Using the backlight of the EM3141
The EM3141 also has a backlight function which is ideal when you are in a dark
environment.
1. Make sure the EM3141 has been set to the ‘On’ position.
2. Press the backlight button ( ) to activate the backlight. All buttons will be lit.
3. Press the backlight button again to deactivate the backlight function. The
backlight function will also be deactivated automatically if the keyboard is not
being used for about 25 seconds.
5.2 Recharging
Once the battery of the EM3141 is depleted, the battery needs to be recharged. Once
the battery is (almost) depleted, the battery symbol on the EM3141 will start to blink.
1. Connect the supplied USB cable to a free USB port of your computer of to a free
USB port of your media player.
2. Once connected, the battery symbol will change to a red color.
3. As long as the battery symbol is red indicated, the battery is being recharged.
4. When fully recharged, the battery symbol will not be lit anymore.
5.3 Changing the channel
The EM3141 runs on a 2.4Ghz channel. It is possible interference occurs when using
multiple 2.4Ghz devices. In that case, the EM3141 may not be as responsive as it
should be. Follow the steps below to change the channel of the EM3141.

1. Make sure the EM3141 is set to the ‘On’ position and the USB receiver is
connected to your media player or computer.
2. Press the ‘Fn’ and ‘Alt’ button simultaneously. The LED’s on the keyboard will
start to flash slowly.
3. Keep pressing down the ‘FN’ and ‘Alt’ buttons during ten seconds and then stop
pressing the buttons.
4. The LED’s on the keyboard will then flash quickly. After a few moments, the
LED’s will begin to flash slowly which indicates the channel has been changed.

The five-year Eminent warranty applies to all Eminent products unless mentioned
otherwise before or during the moment of purchase. When having bought a second-
hand Eminent product the remaining period of warranty is measured from the moment
of purchase by the product’s first owner. The Eminent warranty applies to all Eminent
products and parts inextricably connected to and/or mounted on the main product.
Power supply adapters, batteries, antennas and all other products not integrated in or
directly connected to the main product and/or products of which, without reasonable
doubt, can be assumed that wear and tear show a different pattern than the main
product are not covered by the Eminent warranty. Products are not covered by the
Eminent warranty when subjected to incorrect/improper use, external influences
and/or when opened by parties other than Eminent.
