Rock Out!
This portable CD player comes with 60 second anti-shock protection,
and a rubberized body. Just activate your capability switch to listen to
the music and press it again to stop the music. Easy and fun to use.
Size: 5.75"W x 1.25"H. Requires 2 AA Batteries.
Operation:
1. The Cars CD Player requires two AA batteries. Use alkaline batteries only
(e.g. Duracell or Energizer brand). Do not use rechargeable batteries or
any other type of batteries because they supply lower voltage and the unit
will not perform properly. Never mix old and new batteries together or
different brands or types together.
2. Slide the “OPEN” switch on the CD player to reveal the battery
compartment, remove the cover and install the batteries making sure to
follow proper (+) & (-) battery placement., replace cover.
3. Insert your CD, label side up, over the center hub of the disc and gently
press the center of the CD until it snaps down. Gently close the
compartment door.
4. Plug your Headphones into the jack marked “PHONES”. Adjust the
VOLUME to an audible level.
5. There is an adapted switch outlet cord located on the side of the Cars CD
Player. Insert a capability switch into the outlet. (Female outlet accepts
only 1/8"plug.) Make sure there are no gaps between the connections.
6. When the Capability Switch you have chosen is activated the Cars CD
player will turn ON. It will then display the number of tracks that your CD
has on it, then the CD will start to play the first track. Press the switch
again to pause the track.
7. Please refer the original manufactures instructions for information on the
Cars CD Player’s Additional functions and features.
8. When finished playing with the Cars CD player make sure to press the
STOP button to shut the Cars CD player OFF, if not the batteries with
drain down. If the Cars CD player will not be used for prolonged periods
of time we recommend removing the batteries.
Troubleshooting:
Problem: The Cars CD does not function.
Action:
Check batteries for polarity placement and be sure to use fresh batteries.
Keep mobile phones and other electrical appliances far away from the
unit. Such appliances may cause noise interference or play may stop
entirely.
Be sure the VOLUME control button is adjusted to an audible listening
level.
Note:
•If a CD skips it may need cleaning. Wipe off any fingerprints with a soft
cloth.
•Do not get wet. Follow manufacturer’s recommendations for cleaning.
Care of the Unit:
The Cars CD Player can be wiped clean with any mild household multi-
purpose, non-abrasive cleaner and disinfectant. We recommend Simple Green,
which is a non toxic biodegradable all-purpose cleaner.
Do not use abrasive cleaners, as they will scratch the surface of the unit.
Do not submerge the unit, as it will damage the electrical components.
