1. Introduction
1.1 Foreword
Note: All of the operations of this product shall be
performed by professional engineers and
technicians.
This manual can only be used to guide the
installation and operation of EIA series of industry
cabinet air-conditioners. The manual content
includes the functional description and regular
maintenance of the unit. In this manual, the safety
tips and warning signs are described as follows:

1.2 Air conditioner description
EIA series of air conditioner is a refrigeration
product designed for the application environment
such as industrial control cabinet. It is suitable for
the application scenario with a larger calorific value
inside the cabinet device, where the internal device
is sensitive to the ambient temperature, to be
completely isolated both internally and externally.
This product has complete function, integrated with
upper computer communications, entrance guard,
external fan control function, condensate water
processing system. It has high reliability, with
simple and convenient installation, which can be
put into operation after electrified, without complex
debugging.
1.2.1 Principles of function
The refrigerant is compressed by compressor (1)
into high temperature and high pressure gas; To
the condenser (3), and suctioned by the cooling
fan (2) from the lower part into outdoor air, where
the heat is forced through the condenser (3) to
spread to the surrounding environment in the air,
and the refrigerant becomes into a liquid through
the throttling element (4), the refrigerant pressure
drops, and in the evaporator (6), the refrigerant
absorbs the heat inside the control cabinet and
evaporates; The hot air is suctioned by the
evaporation fan (5) from inside the control cabinet,
and through the evaporator, the air is cool and
forced to discharge into the inside of the control
cabinet. At the same time, the air inside the control
cabinet is dehumidified.This series can be used a
variety of installations.This is shown in the pictures
below:

Note: For the nameplate parameters on the air
conditioner, the user are advised to read them
carefully, In the actual use of the technical
parameters, the nameplate nominal parameters
shall prevail.

2. Safety notices
The following safety notices are to be observed in
their entirety for the correct use of the equipment:
2.1 Transport
Transport the air conditioner only in condition
of usage.
Prior to transport remove the air conditioner
and pack it separately if the move the air
conditioner and pack it separately if the
complete switch cabinet is to be transported.
Failure to observe these instructions will
render the warranty provisions null and void.
When carrying the unit, it is forbidden to lift the
plastic panel, and the panel can not be used
as the support.
2.2 Storage
Never expose air conditioners to temperatures
exceeding +70°during store
Store air conditioner only in condition of usage.
Failure to observe these instructions will
render the warranty provisions null and void.
2.3 Unpacking
Prior to and during unpacking make a visual
inspection of the air conditioner to see
whether any damage has occurred during
transport. Especially pay attention to loose
parts, dents, visible loss of oil etc.
Any damage mast be reported immediately to
the forwarding agent (follow the instructions
in”Rules For Damage Claims”). Moreover, the
latest edition of the “After sales Service Letter
of Commitment”
Before disposing of packing material ensure
that it does not contain any loose components.
2.4 Installation
To prevent the enclosure with the air
conditioner fitted tipping over, it is essential
that this be bolted to the floor.
A roller door is to be used to ensure problem
free opening and closing of the enclosure
door.
The site for the enclosure, and hence the
arrangement of the air conditioner, is selected
so as to ensure good ventilation;
The location is free from excessive dirt and
moisture;
The ambient temperature does not exceed
+55℃;
The enclosure is sealed on all sides (IP54).
Condensation will occur if the enclosure is
leakage;
Air inlet and outlet are not obstructed on the
inside of the enclosure;
The duct size outside the air conditioner
cabinet should not be less than the limit value
in the following figure.
Units are only fitted horizontally in the
specified position. Max. Deviation from the
true horizontal:2°;
Losses from the components installed in the
enclosure must not exceed the specific
refrigeration capacity of the air conditioner
itself;

The customer must not modify the air
conditioner in any way.
3. Installation and Operation
3.1 Mechanical installation
Before the installation of air conditioner, the fitting
surface of cabinet shall be properly opened with
vent and screw hole, where the hole size shall
refer to the appearance size figure as provided by
the manufacturer.
CAUTION!
If the required cutouts are only made in the switch
cabinet just before mounting of the air conditioner,
make sure that swarf is not allowed to enter the
device hood by using a cover sheet, for example.
Side Mounting:
1) Air conditioner is labeled with sealing strip, as
shown in the figure below:
2) Install the hook on the air conditioner, as
shown in the figure below:
3) Step 1 hang the hook at the bottom of the
cabinet air conditioner onto the rack; Step 2
push on the top of the air conditioner; Step 3
when hearing the sound of buckling closure,
which means the self-locking success, then go
on with the next step.as shown in the figure
below:
4) Remove the mounting screw in the accessory
bag, and fasten the air conditioner on the
cabinet.
5) Choose appropriate drainage pipe for
installation. (see 5.1.1)
Half-embedded Mounting:
1) Take the air conditioner apart，as shown in the
picture below：
2) Install the air conditioner on the cabinet and fix
it with the screw, as shown in the picture
below：

3) After fixing on the cabinet, install the plastic
panel as shown below:
Full Internal Mounting:
1) Remove the plastic panel as shown below:
2) Install the air conditioner on the cabinet and fix
it with nuts and screws, and fix the plastic
panel to the buckle, as shown in the picture
below:
3.2 Electrical installation
CAUTION!
As the cabinet air conditioner is connected to the
power supply via the circuit protection device, the
appropriate circuit protection device and the power
cable should be chosen according to the air
conditioning nameplate and technical parameters.

CAUTION!
Too high voltage may lead to damage of cabinet
air conditioner. Please follow the voltage
requirement marked on the nameplate to switch on
the air conditioner.
CAUTION!
In order to avoid any damaging effects, before
turning on the power supply, the cabinet air
conditioner must be reliably earthed.

Electrical connection check:
1) Check whether any short circuit or open circuit
exists on the AC power supply cables with
multimeter.
2) Check whether any short circuit or open circuit
exists on the communication & alarm output
cable multimeter.
3.3 Power-on steps
Close the AC input power switch, Waited 30s ,The
internal cycle fan of the air conditioner will be
started. If the internal cycle temperature meets the
running condition, the cooling system will be
started.
4. System function introduction
Air conditioner running is automatically controlled
completely according to the temperature inside the
cabinet, and through the inner loop temperature
sensor, the controller detects the cabinet return air
temperature and the set point for judgment, to
control the work of compressor or the fan.
4.1 Cooling
Cooling startup point = cooling stop point + cooling
sensitivity. When the cabinet internal temperature
exceeds the cooling startup point, the cooling will
be started; when the cabinet internal temperature
is lower than the cooling stop point, the cooling
stops.

CAUTION!
For the reliable operation of the unit and the
maximum energy efficiency, it is recommended
that the users should not randomly change the
temperature set point. The above set point is not
on behalf of the factory settings.
4.2 The control of external fan
According to the requirement for the environment
inside the cabinet, the external fan realizes
automatic cycle hydrogen discharging and forced
ventilation.
Forced ventilation (Option) : when the compressor
does not have cooling capacity or the temperature
inside the cabinet is higher than “INHT” point , and
the temperature inside the cabinet is 4ºC higher
than that outside the cabinet, start the hydrogen
discharging fan.
4.3 Door alarm
To avoid an increase in condensation, a door
operated switch should be used which will switch
the air conditioner off when the switch the air
conditioner off when the enclosure door is opened
(see: ●Door open alarm input connecting
interface diagram:);
After judging whether the cabinet door is opening
or not by the sign sent by the door magnetic
switch ,the air conditioner will alarm and stop.
CAUTION
：
When door opened, the door magnetic
switch will be triggered to shut down the air
conditioner after one minute. After door closed, the
door magnetic switch will be released, then the air
conditioner will start work after three minutes when
the temperature inside is higher than the set point.

4.4 Self-testing
Select the “Diagnosis” function in the “Set Up”
menu, the unit will start the self-testing procedure
automatically.
1) The self-testing procedures are as below:
2) The indoor fans run for 30 seconds.
3) The compressor and the outdoor fans run for
3 minutes.
4) The compressor and external fan stops.
5) If the Control of external fan is optional, the
external fan will run for two minutes (if not,
there will be no this item).
6) The unit works according to the normal logic.
4.5 Alarm information
The cabinet air conditioner provides the following

CAUTION!
The system in high pressure locking is likely to be
caused by dirty plugging of strainer. Even so, the
dirty plugging can't be avoided due to long-running
of the unit where the dust is collected on the
condenser fin. So, in the use process, it is very
important for the users to regularly clean the
strainer and condenser.
4.6 Monitoring
The air conditioner communicates with the upper
monitor through the RS485 communication
interface. Or users can check the air conditioner’s
running state by viewing the display screen directly
and change its running parameters.
4.7 Unit menu structure
4.7.1 Operation interface
The unit controller adopts the 96x32 LCD, which
contains 7 buttons for the setting. The operation
interface is as shown in the following figure：
: ON/OFF button, (long press this button,about
5s)this can be used to turn on/off the unit.
: Up button, which is used to select the
previous record/menu or increase the setting value
(password only).
: Down button, which is used to select the next
record/menu or decrease the setting value
(password only).
: Left button, which is used to increase the
setting value during the parameter setting or select
the previous bit of the data during the password
setting.
: Right button, which is used to decrease the
setting value during the parameter setting or select
the next bit of the data during the password setting.
ENTER : ENTER button, which is used to confirm
the entry.
ESC : Quit button, which is used to return to the
previous page menu.
If there is no keyboard operation for consecutively
60s under any interface after startup, it will
automatically return to the normal display interface.
When any button is pressed after the system is
powered up, the backlight will turn on. If there is no

keyboard operation for consecutively 60s, the
backlight will be off.
The factory default operation password of the unit
is “0001”. To change it, you need to press ENTER
on the normal display interface to enter the
password input interface, press the LEFT button or
RIGHT button to select the bits for change, and
press the UP/DOWN button to change the relevant
digits, and finally press ENTER button to confirm
the change. If the password is incorrect, the
interface will display the error message, and the
unit setting cannot be changed. If the password is
correct, you can enter the main menu and edit the
unit setting.

5. Maintenance
To ensure the normal operation of the air conditioner, please perform regular maintenances for it by
referring to Table 5.1.
Hazard!
All the maintenances should be performed by qualified professionals. Please disconnect the power and
communication & alarm output cables of the air conditioner before any maintenance and do not reconnect
them until the maintenance is completed.

5.1.1 Condensate discharge
CAUTION!
The condensate mast be able to run off freely. If the condensate is to be drained off over a greater distance,
then care must be taken that the hose is free from kinks and a check for correct drainage made.

②.Sheathe the hose clamp and fasten with straight screwdriver;
③.The pipe assembly is ready.

5.1.2 Air filter maintenance
The strainer dirty plugging will seriously affect the refrigeration capacity of air conditioning, which must be
cleaned regularly. We recommend to use the strainer when there is a large amount of dust, which can
simplify the operations of condenser cleaning.
The steps are as follows: (For more than 500-2000W units)
①.Open the plastic panel;
②.To the right pull out the strainer;
③.The strainer is flushed with water cannon.
The steps are as follows: (For more than 4000W units)
①.Open the plastic panel;
②.Lift up the filter, and detach the pin from hole;
③④.Catch the bottom of filter bracket and outward rotation, downward pull out after a certain height;
⑤.Detach filter from bracket;
⑥.Using a high-pressure water flushing filter.

6. Barcode description
The date of manufacture and serial number on the barcode is showed as follows:
The first 13 bit (M019028000100) is the manufacture definition.
The value of 14~18 bit (13701) stands for the date of manufacture: July 01, 2013 (A/B/C:
October/November/December).
The last 4 bit (0001) stands for the serial number of the same batch.
7. Product guarantee
1. The product warranty period is 12 months.
2. The user must operate in accordance with the installation instructions in this manual, to obtain the
product quality assurance services provided by the manufacturer.
The fault caused by the any of the following reasons does not belong to our scope of warranty:
- It is beyond warranty period;
- It fails to provide factory number of the products;
- Due to the operations in abnormal conditions or environment, or the fault caused by improper installation
methods as specified in this specification for the installation, maintenance or operation;
- The fault caused by other equipment, such as the fault caused by the user’s equipment, the user‘s software
and so on;
- The damage caused by the replacement or dismantling parts by the users themselves, or by the unauthorized
maintenance personnel;
- The fault caused by the damage due to force majeure such as fire, earthquake and flood.
8. Disposal
Do not dispose this product as unsorted municipal waste. Collection of such waste separately for special
treatment is necessary.

本手册只能用于指导 EIA系列工业机柜空调器的安
装和操作。手册内容包含机组的功能描述和定期维
护。本手册中，安全提示和警示符号说明如下：

1.2
空调器描述
EIA 系列空调器是针对工业控制柜等应用环境而开
发的一款制冷产品。适用于机柜内部设备发热量较
大，内部设备对于环境温度敏感，且内外需要完全
隔离的应用场合。本产品功能齐备，集成上位机通
讯﹑门禁﹑外部风机控制功能﹑冷凝水处理系统。
可靠性高，安装简单便捷，通电后即可工作，无需
复杂调试。

工作原理
压缩机（1）将制冷剂压缩成高温高压气体；到冷
凝器（3）中，并由冷凝风机（2）从下部吸入室外
空气通过冷凝器（3）将热量强制散至周围环境空
气中，制冷剂变成液体。通过节流元件（4）后，
制冷剂压力下降，在蒸发器（6）中，制冷剂吸收
控制柜内部热量并蒸发，由蒸发风机（5）从控制
柜内部吸入热空气，通过蒸发器后空气被冷却并强
制排入控制柜内部。同时控制柜的空气被除湿。这
种系列的产品可以采用多种安装方式，如下图所
示：

安全注意事项
为正确使用设备，需要严格遵守以下安全注意事
项：
2.1
运输
运输时保持机柜空调机组处于同最终使用时
的摆放状态。
如果整体机柜需要运输，请在运输前将机柜空
调拆下并单独包装。
机组裸机搬运时，禁止搬抬塑料面板，且面板
不能作为受力支撑物使用。
2.2
储运
储存环境不应超过 70°。
储存时使机组处于最终使用时的摆放状态。
2.3
开箱
开箱前即开箱时应当仔细查看机柜空调，看是
否存在因运输造成的破坏，尤其注意是否有部
件松动﹑凹坑﹑擦伤和漏油等现象。
任何损坏应当立即通知承运商。（根据“损坏
规则”指示）。并且适用于《英维克售后服务
承诺书》的最新版本。
在处理包装材料前，务必确认里面没有任何松
动的部件。
2.4
安装
为防止柜与空调翻倒，务必使用螺栓将其固定
于地面；
采用滚门，从而确保控制柜的门在开关时不出
现问题；
为了取得良好的通风条件，需要对控制柜及空
调的安装地点进行选择；
所选的地点不能有过度的灰尘且不能过度潮
湿；
空调器的出风口需要安装在控制柜体的上部；
环境温度不超过+55 ℃；
控制柜尽量达到(IP54 级)，如果密封性不好，
可能会出现冷凝水；
在控制柜内部，空调器进风口和出风口不能有
障碍物阻塞。
空调器柜外的风道尺寸应不低于下图的限
值。
空调器需要水平安装和使用，最大倾斜角
不得大于 2°；
必须由专业人员操作电器连接及修理；
务必使用原装配件；
控制柜内部电气元器件的热释放不能超过
空调器制冷功率；
用户不能以任何方式改动空调。
3.
安装和操作
3.1
空调器机械安装
空调安装前机柜的安装面需开好通风口和螺钉
固定孔，开孔尺寸请见制造商提供的外形尺寸
图。
注意：金属碎屑可能损坏机柜！
如果在安装现场开安装孔，确保使用保护罩，
以免切削进入机柜，损坏电器元件。
注意：安装步骤示意图不代表空调出厂外
观！
安装示意图仅用来指导安装，图中空调外观不
代表实际空调外观。
外挂式安装：
1) 空调器贴密封胶条。如下图所示：

2) 将挂钩安装在空调器上。如下图所示：
3) 步骤 1将机柜空调下方的挂钩挂在机柜上；步
骤2推空调的上方；步骤 3当听到卡扣闭合声，
代表已经自锁成功，可进行下一步操作。如下
图所示：
4) 取出附件包内的安装螺钉，将空调固定在机柜
上。
5) 选择合适的排水管进行安装。（参见 5.1.1）
半嵌式安装：
1) 将空调拆开，如下图所示：
2) 安装到机柜上，通过螺杆固定。如下图所
示：
3) 固定在机柜上以后，将塑料面板装好，如
下图所示：
