1Lay the rails on the floor parallel to one another. Make sure that the black extrusions are
facing the inside of the rails.

2Unscrew the our JCN Nuts rom the rear spacer, then align the rear spacer with the
holes on the rails such that the Ergatta logo is acing upwards and the bungee cord is
acing towards the ront o the rails. Fasten the rear spacer to the rails using the our
JCN Nuts and 5mm Allen Key without ully tightening at this time.

3Place the seat between the rails. The indent on the seat should face the rear spacer. All
four load wheels should sit on the black extrusion, with the guide wheels locked under
the black extrusion such that the seat cannot be lifted off the rails. Note: It may be
necessary to separate the rails slightly to fit.

4Place the tank assembly onto the rails, then using the JCB Bolts and 5mm Allen Key,
attach the tank to the rails. At this stage they should not be fully tightened.

5Raise the mounting arm until the legs fully extend from under the arm, then release the
arm to lock into place

6oosen the 2 bolts on the top deck using the 4mm Allen key. Assemble the footboard
between the rails to lean against the top deck. Fasten the footboard to the rails using
the JCB bolts and 5mm Allen key.

7Using the handle rest bolts and the 5mm Allen key, secure the handle rests in place with
the the handle notch facing downwards.

8Place the provided Footboard Assembly Card on the opposite side of the straps, pushing
it all the way through the slot for the Footpads. Using the Assembly Card as a ramp,
install the Footpads onto the Footboard.

9Assemble the dolly wheel and washers onto the provided bolt in the order shown below,
the using the 5mm Allen key fasten the dolly wheel assembly onto the rails.

10 Usin the 5mm Allen key, fully ti hten the nuts and bolts connectin the tank, footboard
and rear spacer to the rails. Then, usin the 4mm Allen key to fully ti hten the top deck
JCB’s. Place the 5mm Allen Key back under the rear spacer for easy access later. Do NOT
use power tools to ti hten the bolts, as this may lead to them becomin stripped.

11 ower the tablet arm and stand the machine upright. Release the recoil belt and
connect the bungee to the recoil strap. Note: the recoil belt should go under the pulley
(center diagram)

12 Fill a separate container with water (distilled or tap, not well water), to approximately
4 5 gallons (17 L) Insert the straight end of the syphon into your container, and the
flexible end into the rower tank Pump the syphon to fill the water tank with water t
the level 17 marker on the side of the tank Add a purification tablet (provided in your
Ergatta bag), then add the stopper to the tank

13 Before placing the touchscreen onto the rower, connect to USB cable to the
touchscreen and mount as shown below.

14 Slide the to chscreen onto the end of the mo nting arm ntil it locks into place (the
speakers sho ld be on the top). Using the to chscreen bolt and 1/8" Allen key, sec re
the to chscreen to the arm.

15 Before placing the touchscreen onto the rower, connect to USB cable to the
touchscreen and mount as shown below.
