1. Mantenance, Repar and Operaton Rules

1. Please do not run the product before readng ths user manual. The falures that may arse from the use of the product aganst the condtons defned n

ths manual are not covered wth the warranty.

2. The ntal operaton of the product wll be executed by the retaler authorzed servce provders. The products that are commssoned wthout notfyng

the authorzed servce are not covered by the warranty. Thus, refer to the closest authorzed servce for ntal operaton after ensurng that the connecton

and assembly of your product are n lne wth the rules defned n the user manual.

3. The falures that may arse from any mantenance, repar or modfcaton performed by a party other than our authorzed servce provders, or from any

temperng or recalbraton attempt besdes the mantenance, repar, cleanng defned n Artcle 7 are not covered by the warranty.

4. Falures arsng from not dong the perodc mantenance on tme are not covered by the warranty.

5. Snce the membrane nsde the expanson tank s a consumable materal, the lfetme may vary dependng on the foregn substances nsde the mans

water and tank water. Thus, the expanson tank s not covered by the warranty.

6. Ths product should be placed ndoors n a way that t s not exposed to external factors such as ran and frost.

7. The falures that may arse from the voltage values n the respectve power grd of the product, f aected from a voltage drop, a voltage rse or a sudden

voltage change ndcated n ths manual, are not covered by the warranty.

2. Handlng and Transportaton

Whle the product s beng transported, the postonng ndcated on the box

should be followed (ensurng that the arrows look up), and t should not be

released hard. The sgns on the box should be followed. (Lke protecton from

ran and mpact)

3. Human and Envronment Health

• It does not contan any substance that may negatvely aect human health

ncludng the expanson tank membrane.

• Durng mantenance, repar and cleanng of the product, the power

connectons should always be cut o.

• Remember to connect the product to the ground.

4. Usage Errors

Please read and follow ths manual carefully to avod usage errors. Any acton

aganst the nstructons of ths manual wll be named as an usage error, and wll

not be covered by the warranty.

5. Product Specfcatons

ETNA booster sets are slent and hgh-ecency boosters capable of supplyng

water to 1-60 ﬂats from ﬂoor 1 to 13. Pumps are sngle or multple stage

centrfugal pumps. The pumps that have cast ron and stanless steel housngs

have sngle and three phase models for electrcal connecton.

5.2 Techncal Specfcatons and Outsde Dmensons

• If the booster doesn’t work even after checkng the ponts above, contact an authorzed techncal servce.

FAILURE CAUSE and RESOLUTION

Booster is not working

Check the electricity supply.

Ensure the fuses are good.

There may be no water in the reserve tank.

The thermal switch of the electrical panel is tripped (Press the Reset button).

The electric motor has burned out.

The municipal water is delivered at a sucient pressure.

The pressure drops suddenly and the pump activates frequently

Close the booster outlet valve. If the pressure is still dropping, it means the non-return valve is

not working. Replace it.

The air in the expansion tank is discharged. Call the service.

No water is being pumped even though the booster is working, and the motor

is getting hot

There may be air inside the pump. Press the o switch, open the air discharge plug on the pump,

ﬁll it with water and discharge the air. Then close the plug, and turn on the booster.

There may be no water in the reserve tank. Do not run the booster before the tank is full.

There is an air leak in the suction line of the booster. Check.

After automatically stopping, the booster is not restarting even after the

pressure drops The pressure switch is not working. Replace it.

7. Perodc Mantenance

The booster should go through mantenance at least once (1) a year by an authorzed techncal servce so that t can serve you longer wthout any problems.

Besdes ths regular mantenance, clean the dust accumulated on the electrcal motor usng a soft brush regularly. The dust accumulated on the motor may cause

the motor to overheat and burn out.

8. Connecton and Assembly

Ensure that your product s mounted by authorzed techncans n lne wth the nstallaton layout gven on the user manual. Call a techncal servce for startng-up

the product.

8.1. Locaton Selecton

• The product should be placed ndoors n a way that t s not exposed to external factors such as ran and frost.

• Leave at least 80cm empty space all around the product.

• Ensure that the dstance to the tank that the product wll prme water from s maxmum 10m.

• Mount the product frmly on a strong and ﬂat concrete surface usng anchor bolts.

• Place the electrcal motor to a heght that enables protecton from ﬂood.

- Booster suction pipe diameter should be smaller than the pump suction

nozzle diameter.

- If the booster sticks water from below ground level, suction should be

made by one level upper diameter pipe.

- Moreover, it is recommended to connect couplings to the suction and

pressure lines of the booster.

10. Ponts to Consder

• The booster should always prme water from a water tank or a well and t should not be drectly connected to the muncpal water system (In case the

muncpal supply s guaranteed).

• The booster nstallaton should be n lne wth the Layout 1 and Layout 2.

• The non-return valve should be placed before the pump.

• If the booster s performng deep well sucton (maxmum 4m), foot valve wth flter should be used at the end of sucton ppe. Foot valve wth flter should be

mnmum 60cm above the bottom of the well.

• The flters fllng wth drt and blockng the pump’s sucton damages the pumps when they are not cleaned; therefore, usng of a flter at the sucton lne s not

recommended. Instead put the flter on the ppe that the water s comng from muncpal supply.

• All the connectons n the sucton lne should be tghtly sealed. Otherwse, ar wll leak nto the sucton ppe causng the sucton to fal or to be below the

capacty.

• If possble, the sucton ppe should be tested wth pressurzed water.

• The ppe of the sucton lne should be as smooth and as short as possble, and use of excessve jonts should be avoded.

• A valve should be placed to the nlet and outlet of the booster. These are requred to cut o the connecton of the water wth the booster n case of falure.
