SAFETY PRECAUTIONS
To ensure proper use of the appliance, please read these instructions and safety precautions before
operating the unit.
• The purpose of the safety precautions is to ensure safe and correct use of the unit and to
minimise any risk that could cause serious damage or injury to you or other persons. These
precautions are divided into two categories, ‘WARNINGS’ where failure to follow instructions or
mis-handling of the unit could cause death or serious injury; and ‘CAUTIONS’ which could lead to
injury and serious consequences.
• Make sure the unit has adequate ventilation - do not ‘build-in’ or restrict air-ow. Good
refrigeration requires adequate ventilation. Allow 50mm rear ventilation.
• Never insert pointed or sharp objects into the unit cooler - mounted at the top inside the
refrigerator.
• Always take care not to damage pipes or wiring associated with the refrigerator.
• Take care not to damage in any way the electrical cord and plug - if any damage of any nature
occurs the cord should be replaced by a qualied technician to avoid any electrical hazard.
• Denitely, DO NOT store aerosol cans with a ammable propellant in this appliance.
• When disposing of this appliance, it should be de-gassed and disposed of in compliance with
legal requirements.
• Do NOT attempt to replace the LED lighting - this should only be done by a qualied technician.
• The A-weighted emission sound pressure level is below 70dB(A).
• Always make sure the power is disconnected before replacing parts or carrying out any
maintenance.
• Never place heavy objects or store any objects on top of the refrigerator.
• Never pull down on an ‘open door’ - this could cause the unit to tip forward and cause serious
injury.

1

SAFETY PRECAUTIONS
The cooler is intended for storage of medical
and vaccine product only. Do not use for food.
Do not use for other purpose than intended as
this could adversely affect items placed in the
unit.
2
SAFETY PRECAUTIONS
Please make sure there is more than 10cm
space between medical refrigeration unit and
the wall. If there is no space,
cooling capacity can drop
down. Failure to ensure
adequate ventilation may
cause unit to over heat and
voids warranty.
Do not throw items onto the shelves and do
not place items totalling more than 25kg on
each shelf. The shelf could fall down, possibly
causing injury. Stack unit evenly across all
shelves. Do not overll.

HOW TO USE
BEFORE USE
• Remove shipping package, tape etc, and leave doors open to ventilate for a while.
• The unit is cleaned before shipment. However, clean the compartment interior after delivery.
• Please insert power supply plug into the wall outlet, single-phase to correct voltage 240V.
• Allow the unit to operate for about 1 hour to cool the compartment before placing items in the
cooler.
• Do not ll with product until unit is in operating range.
WAIT 5 MINUTES OR MORE BEFORE RE-STARTING
• Restarting the unit immediately after it has been turned off may cause fuses to blow and
activate the circuit-breaker, the compressor may be overloaded, and/or other damage may occur.
TEMPERATURE ADJUSTMENT
• This is a purpose built medical refrigeration unit designed to run at 2-8 degrees. The refrigerator
temperature has been set for 4°C, meaning the interior temperature will oscillate between 4°C
and 6°C when the door is closed. The set point is ‘locked’ and cannot be adjusted by the user; this
is done deliberately to avoid the set point being altered. The set point value has been rigorously
tested to maintain the product temperature of the vaccines in storage as close as possible to 5°C
in line with the ‘Strive for Five Campaign’.
EFFICIENT USE
• To prevent cold air from escaping, open and close the door quickly and keep the door opened for
as short a time as possible.
• Please install the unit in the place which is well-ventilated.
• Unit is tted with a door open alarm.
SHELF HEIGHT ADJUSTMENT
• The shelf height can be adjusted.
• Arrange the shelves in accordance with the dimensions of the items to be placed in the cooler.
• Do not over ll the unit.
PLACING ITEMS IN THE REFRIGERATOR
This showcase employs a forced circulation of cold air system. If circulation of cold air is obstructed,
the items will not be adequately refrigerated. Pay attention to the following points:
• Do not let items obstruct the cold air inlet and suction outlet.
• Place items so that they do not protrude from the shelves. The gap between the shelves and the
door is used for circulation of cold air.
• Place items evenly on all shelves.
• Please do not store goods on the bottom. Store goods only on the shelves provided.
CLIMATE CLASS
• 32°C ± 2°C on appliances of climatic class 0,1,2,3,4,6 or 8.
• 43°C ± 2°C on appliances of climatic class 5 or 7.

CLEANING
To ensure the safety, perform the following checks after cleaning.
• Is the power cord plug rmly inserted into a dedicated wall outlet? Conrm that the
plug is not abnormally hot.
• Check the power cord for cracks and damage. Should the slightest irregularity be
observed, contact the dealer from whom you purchased this unit or our customer
service department.
Wipe with a soft, dry cloth. If very soiled, wipe with a cloth that has been moistened with a
detergent. Then wipe with a cloth that has been dipped in water.
• Clean the cooler regularly to keep it clean at all times.
• Never use polishing powder, soap powder, benzine,
oil or hot water as these will damage the painting
and plastic components.
5

IN CASE OF THE FOLLOWING
POWER FAILURE
Avoid opening the door. Avoid placing new items in the cooler as this will raise the temperature
inside the compartment.
WHEN NOT USED FOR A LONG PERIOD
Remove all items from the compartment and disconnected the power cord plug from the wall outlet.
Clean the compartment interior and wipe away all water.
To prevent mould formation and bad smell, leave the door slightly ajar to dry the compartment
completely.
TRANSPORTATION
The refrigerator should only be moved by ‘professional movers’. Contact your supplier if you need to
move the unit to a new location.
TEMPORARY STORAGE
Be sure to leave the door slightly ajar. Make sure not to store the unused cooler at a location where
children play. Should a child enter the compartment and the door is closed, the child may not be able
to open the door from the inside.

BEFORE REQUESTING SERVICE
REQUIRED INFORMATION
POWER FAILURE
Please check the following items if you encounter problems with the unit. If the problem continues
after taking the proper remedial action, transfer the items stored in the Refrigerator to an Insulated
Box or other Container. Then contact the dealer from whom you purchased this unit and be ready to
provide information as listed in “REQUIRED INFORMATION” below.
If a service Technician is required to attend site and NO FAULT is identied, or if the fault is deemed
to be caused by misuse, site error, inadequate ventilation, fouled Condenser, or unauthorised
adjustments to the unit or Controller, THEN the Service Company’s fee for Call-out and Service and
any subsequent charges will be borne by the user.
Adjustments may only be made by an Authorised EURO CHILL Service Company.
• Is the power supply interrupted?
• Is the power cord plug disconnected from the wall outlet?
• Are the power fuses blown and/or the circuit breaker activated?
• Is the temperature setting appropriate?
• Are items obstructing the cold air inlet and suction outlet?
• Are stored items packed too tightly?
• Is the door open or is it opened and closed frequently?
• Is the condenser clogged?
• Are all castors in rm contact with the oor?
• Is the rear panel of the cooler contacting the wall or other objects?
• Are other objects in contact with the cooler?
• Note: this is not a domestic grade unit and will have a higher
degree of noise when operating which is acceptable.
• Condensation may condense on the exterior and door during hot
and humid days or depending on the place of installation. This
occurs when the humidity is high and water particles in the air
contact cold surfaces. This is normal. Wipe away condensation with
a dry cloth.
