INSTALLING THE CAMERA (TRANSMITTER) ///
1.Unpack the Camera.
2.Decide whether the Camera will be wall-mounted or sit on a
 desk/tabletop.Ifwallmounting,usedrillingtemplateonthe
 backcoveroftheseinstructions.Ifusingthedesktopstand,
 attachthecameratothestandasshown.TheCameracanbe
 adjustedforeithermountingscenariobyrotatingtheCamera
 headtotherequiredposition.
3.To use the 12V camera poweradapter,connectpowerjackto therearofthetabletopstand.
 MakesuretheCamera ispositionednomorethan5 1/2 feetfromanACpoweroutlet.
4.SelecttheCameraoperatingchannelontheDIPswitch,onthebackofthecamera,bymoving
 switches1,2,or3tothedownposition.Switchispresettochannel2.
5.TheCamera(Transmitter)installationisnowcomplete.

MOTION-SENSING CAMERAS ///
21ST™CamerasareequippedwithamotionsensororPIR.WhenaCameradetectsmotion,ared
lightflashesontheCameraandanaudioalertsoundsontheMonitor.Thevolumecontrolforthealert
isontherearoftheMonitor.
MULTI-CAMERA OPERATION ///
The21ST™Wireless Camera System isdesignedtoworkwithupto(3)Cameras.Additional
Camerasaresoldseparately(ET-C500).IMPORTANT:WhenusingmorethanoneCamera,makesure
eachCameraisassignedtoaspecificchannelbyadjustingthecorrespondingDIP switch down.
NIGHT VISION ///
ThecameraincludesIRLEDs,whichallowsviewingupto5feetinthedarkwhenusedwith the adapter.
TheIRLEDsare controlled byaphotocellandareautomatically turned onatlowlightleveland off athigh
lightlevel.Thishelpstoextendthebatterylifeofthecamera.NOTE: TherangeoftheIRLEDsworkbest
withtheACadapter.TheIRLEDrangeislimitedwhenusedwithalkalinebatteriesorthebatterypack.
HELPFUL HINTS ///
The21ST™Wireless Cameras aresuitableforindoorandoutdooruse.
Pleasebearinmindthefollowingpointswhenchoosingamountingposition:
■TheCameraMotionSensorshouldnotbemorethan20feetfromwheremotionwilloccur.
■ThelowertheMotionSensorthecloseritmayneedtobetothemonitoredarea.
■IdealheightfortheMotionSensoris6-8feet.
■Beforemountingandinstallingthecameraswerecommendthatyouviewthecameras
 ontheWireless Video Monitor/Receiver sothatyoumaythenchoosethebestcamera
 viewingposition.
■Camerasshouldnotbepointeddirectlyintothesunoranybrightlight,asthismaycausedamage
 tothecamera.
■Avoidareas where half the area is in bright sunlight and the other half is dark, such as in the
 shadow of a building. Large light variations make it difficult for the camera.
