USER’S MANUAL
INTRODUCTION
Thank you for choosing our Euretech brand product. Our products have been subject to all
tests and checks required during the production stage.
You can find all the information required for the operation of the product you purchased with
full performance in a healty manner. Do not start to assemble the device before reading the
operation quidelines thoroughly.
GENERAL OVERVIEW
SKM series sediment filters are held up to sand, rust, mud etc. at a certain level of microns.
Filter operates manually, pollution accumulated in the cartridges is removed by manual
washing for stainless steel and nylon cartridges, by changing the cartridges periodically for
polyprophylene cartridges. Polyprophylene cartridges have 1-5-10 and 20 micron level
treatment sensitivity, washable cartridges have 50 micron level treatment sensitivity.
Multi cartridge filters have a high flow capacity of water treatment. Because of filter body is
made of stainless steel it is healthy and longlived.
WARNINGS AND PRECAUTIONS
Cut off the water supply and make depressurization before any intervention to the
filter.
Cartridges inside the filter should checked periodically. Stainless steel and nylon
cartridges should clean by washing pressured water. Polyprophylene cartridges should
change with the new ones periodically. Pollution on the cartridges should observed or
understanding from the pressure difference on the manometer.
Filters must not operated over 10 bar. Otherwise, stainless steel filter body is exposed
to the pressure and will stretch then water leakage will occur.

ASSEMBLY INSTRUCTIONS
Filter should be mounted on a flat surface with full hygiene. The maintenance works
related to the device should be realized in a suitable a comfortable environment.
A clearance enabling the easy replacement of the cartridges should be left on the top
of filter. This clearance should be a little bit longer than the cartridges.
Inlet connection should done from top of the filter and outlet connection should done
from bottom.
By-pass line should be done to supply continous water while system in maintenance.
The precautions required fixing the inlet outlet connection lines of the filter and to
avoid water hammer should be taken.

CARTRIDGE INSERTION
1. Remove the top cover from the flange after the completion of the device assembly
(Picture 1)
2. Insert the cartridges to the slots inside the filter body. (Picture 2)
3. Put the washes on the top of the cartridges and tighten the wing nuts by hand power(
do not use any toll at this step) (Picture 3)
4. Reset the top cover and tighten the screws of flange by using allen key(Picture 4)
5. Place a manometer on the top of the collector (Picture 5)
6. After these steps check the leakproofness by giving water inside the filter.
OPTIMUM OPERATIONAL CONDITIONS
Max. Operating Pressure = 10 Bar
Min. Operating Pressure = 2 Bar
Operating Temperature = 2-45 ˚C

PERIODIC MAINTENANCE AND SERVICE INSTRUCTIONS
Although there is no need for continuous and comprehensive maintenance for our
filtration systems, they should be checked regularly.
Cut off the water supply and make depressurization before any intervention to the
filter.
Stainless steel and nylon cartridges are washed with pressured water periodically and
re-used. Approximate life time is 1 year.
Polypropylene cartridges are changed with the new ones approximately in 1,5 months.
This period is changing according to raw water pollution.
Pollution on the cartridges may follow of pressure difference on the manometer
without demounting.
