Before Grilling
Grill Opera on 1-2-3
Step 1 Keep barbecue a safe distance away from building(s).*
Step 2 Always perform a Leak Test on all connec ons and hoses. *
Step 3 Keep children away from the barbecue.
During Grilling
(To avoid tripping safety valves, please follow these instruc ons carefully!)
Step 1 Open barbecue lid and slowly turn on gas supply valve at the tank.
Step 2 Turn on and light only one grill at a me.
Step 3 Use protec ve gloves when grill gets hot.
Step 4 Never leave a lit grill una ended.
Aer Grilling
Step 1 Always burn grill for 10-15 minutes to burn off food residues a er use.
Step 2 Wait un grill is completely cooled before closing lid.
Step 3 Remove grease to avoid hazardous build-up, and use the barbecue cover to prevent rust.

Safety First!
Read and understand all warnings and precau ons prior to opera ng your barbecue.
WARNING
1. This barbecue is for outside use only. It should not be used in a building, garage or any other enclosed area.
2. The use of alcohol or prescripon or non-prescrip on drugs may impair an individual’s ability to properly assemble or safely
operate this appliance.
3. Always open the barbecue lid carefully and slowly as heat and steam trapped within the barbecue could cause severe burns.
4. Always place your barbecue on a hard and level surface far away from combus ble materials and structures. An asphalt or
blacktop surface may not be acceptable for this purpose.
5. Do not leave a lit barbecue una ended.
6. Keep children and pets away from the barbecue at all mes.
7. This is not a tabletop barbecue. Do not place this barbecue on any type of tabletop surface.
8. Do not grill in high winds.
9. This barbecue must be used with propane gas only (propane gas cylinder not included).
10. Do not a empt to a ach barbecue to the self-contained propane system of a camper, trailer, motor home or house.
11. Do not use charcoal or lighter fluid.
12. Do not use gasoline, kerosene or alcohol for ligh ng. The liquid propane (LP) gas supply cylinder must be constructed and
marked in accordance with the specifica ons for LP gas cylinders of the Na onal Standard of the Transporta on of
Dangerous Goods Commission of Canada for Cylinders, Spheres and Tubes (CAN/CSA-B139).
13. This outdoor gas appliance is not intended to be installed in or on recrea on vehicles and/or boats.
14. Do not a empt to move the barbecue while it is lit.
15. Do not use the barbecue unless it is COMPLETELY assembled and all parts are securely fastened and ghtened.
16. Keep combus ble items and surfaces at least 2 m (6 ) feet away from the unit at all mes. DO NOT use this barbecue or
any gas product under any overhead enclosure or near any unprotected combus ble construc ons.
17. Do not use in an explosive atmosphere. Keep grilling area clear and free from combus ble materials, gasoline and other
flammable vapours and liquids.
18. Do not a empt to use or assemble with missing or damaged parts. Contact customer service for replacement parts.
CAUTION - Preven on of Burns
1. To avoid burns, do not touch metal parts of the barbecue un l they have completely cooled for at least 45 minutes or unless you
are wearing protective gear such as pot holders, protective gloves or oven mitts.
2. Do not alter the barbecue in any manner.
3. Clean and inspect the hose before each use. If there is evidence of abrasion, wear, cuts or leaks, the hose must be
replaced prior to opera on. The replacement hose assembly should be in accordance with the manufacturer’s
specifica ons.
4. Move gas hoses as far away as possible from hot surfaces and dripping hot grease.
5. Never keep a filled LP gas cylinder in a hot car or car trunk. Heat will cause the gas pressure to increase, which could open
the relief valve and allow gas to escape.
Safe Loca ons for Use of This Outdoor
Barbecue
CAUTION
Never use this outdoor barbecue inside any building, garage, shed or breezeway; or inside any boat, trailer or recreational vehicle,
to prevent a possible fire and to prevent the possibility of carbon monoxide poisoning or asphyxiation.
WARNING
Do not use barbecue under an overhead combus ble surface or covered area (e.g., awnings, umbrellas, porches or gazeboes).
Always confirm that the barbecue is not posi oned under the overhang of a house, a garage or other structure before ligh ng it. An
overhang will serve to deflect flare-ups and radiated heat into the structure itself, which could result in a fire.

materials or surface before ligh ng it, and that no gasoline or other vola le substances are stored in the
vicinity of this grill. (See diagram to right). Otherwise, the temperature of a grease fire or of the radiated
heat might be sufficient to ignite nearby combus ble or vola e substances. Always locate this unit where
there will be ample combus on and ven a on air, but never posi on it in the direct path of a strong
wind.
Never leave the grill burning while unaended to prevent uncontrolled grease fires from erup ng.
Never attempt to move this barbecue while it is in operation or while it is still hot, to prevent possible personal injury.
Never store or use gasoline or other flammable or volatile substances in the vicinity of this unit or in the vicinity of any
other heat-generating appliance because of the danger of starting a fire.
Always confirm that the installa on of this barbecue conforms to the requirements of all local codes or, in the absence of applicable
local codes, with the the Canadian Standards Associa on's Natural Gas and Propane Installa on Code CAN/CGA-B149.1.
DANGER – Gas Safety
Liquid propane (LP) gas is flammable and hazardous if handled improperly. Become aware of its characteris cs before using any
propane product.
●Propane Characteris cs: Flammable, explosive under pressure, heavier than air and se les in pools in low areas.
●In its natural state, propane has no odour. For your safety, an odorant has been added.
●Contact with propane could cause freeze burns to the skin.
●This barbecue is shipped from the factory for propane gas use only.
●Never use a propane cylinder with a damaged body, valve, collar or foo ng.
●Dented or rusted propane cylinders may be hazardous and should be checked by your propane gas supplier.
GENERAL INFORMATION
1. A propane gas cylinder is required for opera on.
2. This gas grill is NOT intended for commercial use.

Assembly
Instruc ons
Remove all contents from the carton. Make sure all parts are present before starng assembly. Once the barbecue is
fully assembled, go back and check to make certain all the bolts are secure. Tighten again using the screwdriver provided if
necessary.
Es mated Assembly Time: 20 minutes.
Step 1
a) Align the holes on the right back side of body assembly (L) with the holes on the
lower hinge (D).
b)
Insert one bolt (BB) into the pre-drilled hole, tighten with one flat washer (DD)
one lock washer (CC) and one nut (EE).
c) Repeat the procedure for the le back side of body assembly.
d) Go back and ghten all the bolts using the screwdriver provided.
Step 2
a) Insert the venturi side of the burner (G) through the hole on the right side of body.
b) Align the pre-drilled hole under the burner with the hole on the bo om of body.
c) Insert one flat washer (HH), one lock washer (GG) and one bolt (FF) into the
pre-drilled
hole.
d) Tighten the bolt using the screwdriver provided.
e) Screw the regulator valve (H) into the threaded venturi tube of the burner.
Step 3
a) Align the holes on the left side of the firebox with the holes on the heat plate
support (I).
b) Insert the bolts on left handle (J) into each pre-drilled hole and ghten with one flat
washer (HH), one lock washer (GG), and one nut (II) in sequence.
c) Repeat the procedure for the right handle (K) and another heat plate support (I) with the
right side of the firebox.
d) Go back and ghten all the nuts using the wrench provided.
e) Insert the igni on cable into the electrode underneath the firebox. (See the figure on the
right).
Step 4
a) Align the holes on the lower right front side and lower right back side of the
body assembly with the holes on the right leg (N).
b) Insert one bolt (BB) into each pre-drilled hole and ghten it with one flat washer
(DD), one lock washer (CC) and one nut (EE).
c) Repeat the procedure for the le
leg (M).
d) Go back and ghten all the bolts
using the screwdriver provided.
Step 5
a) Place the heat plate (F) on the heat plate support.
b) Place the cooking grid (E) over the heat plate.

Step 6
Insert the grease cup (O) into the two guides underneath the grill and push forward
un l it is in place.
Step 7
a) Insert the pre-a ached bolts on the
lid handle (A) into the holes on the
front of the lid and seal with one flat
washer (HH), one spring washer (GG),
and one nut (II).
b) Align the holes on the back side of lid with the holes on the upper hinge (C).
c) Insert one bolt (BB) into each pre-drilled hole and seal with one flat washer (DD),
one spring washer (CC) and one nut (EE).
d) Go back and ghten all the bolts using the screwdriver provided.
Step 8
a) Align the holes on the upper hinges on the back of
the lid with the holes of the lower hinges on the back
of the body.
b) Insert one lid pin (LL) into each hole.
c) Insert one R pin (KK) into the hole on the front of the
lid pin.

a) Screw the gas
cylinder clockwise
into the thread
underneath the regulator valve un l it is in place.
b) Make certain the connec
on is secure and conduct the leak test on page 10.

Opera ng Your
Barbecue
The propane gas supply cylinder to be used must be constructed and marked in accordance with the specifica ons for LP-gas
cylinders of the Naonal Standard of the Transportaon of Dangerous Goods Commission of Canada for Cylinders, Spheres and
O
Tubes (CAN/CSA-B139). nly cylinders marked ‘’propane’’ must be used. Use only 1-pound
(16.4 oz) cylinders equipped with a cylinder
connec on device compa ble with the connec on for outdoor
cooking appliances.
The propane cylinder must be arranged for vapour withdrawal. If the appliance is not in use, the gas cylinder must be
disconnected. Storage of an appliance indoors is permissible ONLY if the cylinder is disconnected and removed from the
appliance. Cylinders must be stored outdoors out of the reach of children and must not be stored in a building, garage, or any
other enclosed area. Your cylinder must never be stored where temperatures can reach over 51.7°C (125°F) . Before connec ng, be sure
that there is no debris caught in the head of the gas cylinder, the head of the regulator valve, or in the head of the burner or
burner ports. Connect regulator valve and hand- ghten firmly. Disconnect the propane cylinder from the regulator valve when
the grill is not in use. DO NOT obstruct the flow of combus on air and ven la on air to the grill.
DANGER
A fire causing death or serious injury may occur if the following are not followed exactly:
Never store or use gasoline or other vola le substances in the vicinity of this barbecue.
Never store a spare propane cylinder in the vicinity of this barbecue, or in the vicinity of another poten al
heat source.
Never refill a disposable cylinder.
WARNING
Don’t store spare gas cylinder in or near barbecue.
DANGER
To prevent fire or explosion hazard when tes ng for a leak:
1. Always perform the leak test (see below) before ligh ng the grill and each me the cylinder is connected for use.
2. Do not smoke or allow other sources of igni on in the area while conduc ng a leak test.
3. Conduct the leak test outdoors in a well-ven lated area.
4. Do not use matches, lighters or a flame to check for leaks.
5. Do not use grill un l all leaks have been stopped. If you are unable to stop a leak, disconnect the propane supply, call for gas
appliance service or your local propane gas supplier.
Checking for Leaks
1. Make 60–90 mL (2–3 oz) of tesng solu on by mixing one part liquid dishwashing soap with three parts water.
2. Make sure control knobs are in the “OFF” posi on.
3. Spray some solu on on the tank valve up to the regulator connec on.
4. Inspect the solu on at the connec ons for bubbles. If no bubbles appear, the connec on is secure.
5. If bubbles appear, you have a leak. Go to step 6.
6. Disconnect the regulator from the tank and reconnect. Make sure the connec on is secured.
7. Retest with solu on.
8. If you con nue to see bubbles, replace the cylinder.
Ligh ng Grill Burners
DANGER
Failure to open lid while igniting the grill’s burners, or not waiting five minutes to allow gas to clear if the burner does not light,
may result in an explosion that could cause serious bodily injury or death.
WARNING
Never stand with your head directly above the grill when preparing to light the main burners, to prevent possible bodily injury.

Ligh ng Main Burner
WARNING:
Aemp ng to light the burner with the lid closed may cause an explosion. Make sure there are no obstruc ons of airflow to the
gas unit. Spiders and insects can nest and clog the burner/venturi tube at the orifice. A clogged burner tube can lead to a fire
beneath the appliance.
1. Open lid while lighting burners.
2. Turn gas supply "ON" by connec ng propane cylinder to regulator inlet fing.
3. Press and turn the control knob to “HIGH” then press the igniter bu on immediately.
4.
After lighting, observe the burner flame to make sure all burner ports are lighted - a blue/yellow
flame of 2.5–5 cm (1–2 in) from the burner ports should appear.
5. If igni on does not take place, press the igniter bu on 2–3 mes.
6. If igni on s ll does not take place, turn the burner control knob to the “OFF” posi on. Wait five
minutes with lid open for the gas to clear and repeat the lighting procedure.
7. Adjust valve knob to desired cooking temperature.
Using the Ligh ng S ck to Light the Main Burners
1. Insert a match into the end of lighng sck. Light the match.
2. Once lit, place the flame through the hole on le side of barbecue body to reach the burner ports.
(see diagram on the right).
3. Push and turn control knob to “HIGH” seng. Aer lighng observe the burner flame, make
sure all burner ports are lighted -a blue/yellow flame of 2.5–5 cm (1–2 in) from the burner ports
should appear.
4. If ignion sll does not take place, turn the burner control knob to the “OFF” posion. Wait five
minutes with lid open for the gas to clear and repeat the lighng procedure.
5. Adjust valve knob to desired cooking temperature.
PRECAUTIONS:

1. Aer lighng, check the burner flame. Make sure all burner ports are lit.
2. If the burner flame goes out during operaon, immediately turn the gas “OFF”. Open lid to let the gas clear for at least 5
minutes before relighng.
3. Before cooking on the grill for the first me, operate the grill for approximately 15 minutes with the lid closed and the
gas turned on “HIGH”. This will “heat clean” the internal parts and dissipate odour from the manufacturing process and
painted finish.
4. Clean the grill aer each use. DO NOT use abrasive or flammable cleaners. These may damage parts of the grill and cause a
fire.
Confirm that the burner is properly lit and that the flame paern is normal (see fig. A,B and C below for the proper flame
paerns). If the flame paern is other than normal, consult Troubleshoong on page 18 for correcve acon.
”Flare-Ups”
“Flare-ups” sometimes occur when food drippings fall onto the hot heat distribution plate or burners and ignite. Some
flaring is normal and desirable as it helps impart the unique flavours associated with grilled foods. Controlling the intensity
of the flare-ups is necessary, however, in order to avoid burned or unevenly cooked foods and to prevent the possibility
of accidental fire.

WARNING
Always monitor the grill closely when cooking and turn the flame level down to LOW or OFF if flare-ups intensify.
Shu ng Off Burners
1. Always turn the valve knob(s) clockwise to the ‘’HIGH’’ posi on, and then press and turn it to ‘’OFF’’. Never force the knob
without pressing it. This could damage the valve.
2. Promptly turn the gas supply to the “OFF” posi on at the propane cylinder.
3. Close the lid of the grill.
IMPORTANT
Care and Maintenance
Always allow grill to completely cool off before covering to prevent corrosion from condensaon.
CAUTION
All cleaning and maintenance should be done when the grill is cool, with the fuel supply turned off at the control dial and the
propane cylinder disconnected. DO NOT clean any grill part in a self-cleaning oven. The extreme heat will damage the finish.
Cleaning
Burning off the grill aer every use (for about 15 minutes) will keep excessive food residue from building up. It is recommended
that you clean the grill before and aer use.
Recommended cleaning materials
Mild liquid dishwashing detergent Hot water
Nylon cleaning pad Wire brush
Paper clip Pu knife/scraper
Compressed air
DO NOT use cleaners that contain acid, mineral spirits or xylene.
Outside surfaces:
Use a mild dishwashing detergent and hot water solu on to clean. Rinse thoroughly with water.
Inside surface:
If the inside surface of the lid has the appearance of peeling paint, baked-on grease has turned to carbon and is flaking off.
Clean thoroughly with a strong solu on of detergent and hot water. Rinse with water and allow it to completely dry.
Interior of grill bo om – Remove residue using brush, scraper and/or cleaning pad. Wash with a dishwashing detergent and
hot water solu on. Rinse with water and let dry.
Cooking Grates – The porcelain grates have a glass-like composi on that should be handled with care. Use a mild dishwashing
detergent or baking soda and hot water solu on. Non-abrasive scouring powder can be used on stubborn
stains. Rinse with water.
Heat Plates – Clean residue with wire brush and wash with soapy water. Rinse with water.
Grease Cup – Periodically empty the grease cup and clean with a dishwashing detergent and hot water solu on.
Cleaning the Burner Assembly
1. Turn gas off at the control knobs and propane tank.
2. Remove cooking grates and heat plate.
3. Remove grease cup.
4. Remove burner by unscrewing nut from beneath burner “foot” using a screwdriver and pliers.
5. Li burner up and away from the gas valve orifice.
6. Clean inlet (venturi tube) of burner with small bo le brush or compressed air.
7. Remove all food residue and dirt on outside of burner surface.
8. Clean any clogged ports with a s ff wire (such as an opened paper clip).
9. Inspect burner for damage (cracks or holes). If damage is found, replace with a new burner. Reinstall burner. Make certain
the gas valve orifices are correctly posi oned, poin ng straight into burner inlet (venturi tube). Also, check posi on of
spark electrode.

Warranty Provisions:
This warranty is non-transferable and does not cover failures due to misuse or improper installa on or maintenance.
This warranty is for replacement of defec ve parts only. We are not responsible for incidental or consequen al damages
or labor costs.
This warranty does not cover chips and scratches of porcelain or painted surfaces, nor does it cover corrosion or
discolora on due to misuse, lack of maintenance, hos le environment, accidents, altera ons, abuse or neglect.
This warranty does not cover damage caused by heat, abrasive and chemical cleaners, resul ng in chipped porcelain
enamel parts or any damage to other components used in the installa on or opera on of the gas grill.
The original consumer purchaser will be charged for all shipping and handling fees of replacement under the terms of limited
warranty. If customers unable to provide proof of purchase or a er the warranty has expired, customers will be also
subject to
parts fees.
Some provinces do not allow the limita on or exclusion of incidental or consequen al damages, so the above limita ons or
exclusions may not apply to you. This warranty gives you specific legal rights, and you may also have other rights that vary
