Safety Information
•Please observe all warnings and instructions on the equipment and contained in these
operating instructions.
•Please carefully read this user s manual before using the device.
•To avoid electric-shock hazards, do not open the cabinet, refer servicing to qualified
personnel only. If cabinet is opened warranty will be invalid.
•Please switch off completely the device during thunder, during abnormal phenomenon,
before cleaning it and in case it remains out of service for a long period.
•Do not expose the device under the sunlight. And keep it away from the heat source or
humid environments.
•Do not block ventilation holes of the device so that air can circulate freely.
•Please place the device in horizontal and stable conditions, keeping it away from
vibrating.
•If device is moved from warmer place to a colder one some problem might occur.
•Please switch off the device and turn it on after 1 or 2 hours.
•Keep the device away from flower vases, tubs, sinks, etc., in order to avoid damaging

Remote control
Turns the system on or switches it to standby
mode.
Opens / closes the disc tray.
CD/USB/FM/BT/AUX Access the contents of disc, connected USB
device, switches the mode to FM radio or
Bluetooth.
REPEAT Sets repeat mode (one track/all).
PROGRAM Makes tracks of CD be played in a programmed
order.
RANDOM Plays the tracks in a random order.
0-9 Selects numbered items in a menu.
FREQ Enters radio station frequency.
SAVE Saves the current frequency of band (in radio
mode).
ID3/RDS Displays information on the display during
playback.
Turns on/off sound.
VOL+/- Increases / decreases the volume.
M+/- Changes radio station.
EQ Selects different sound presets: Jazz, Rock,
Classic, Pop, Live, Dance and off.
BASS/TREB Bass or treble adjusting mode.
Skips to the next/ previous title/chapter/track (in
media player mode).
Reverses search / Fast forward
Starts playback / Pauses playback
Stops playback
MO/ST Turns STEREO ON or OFF
TUNE+/- Adjusts the frequency in increment of 0.05MHz
SEARCH Automatically searches and store bands (in radio

Installation of batteries
Remove the cover of the battery compartment on the rear panel of the remote control unit;
slide it downwards and put it aside. Insert two AAA (R03) batteries into the compartment,
observing the indicated polarity. Do not mix ol an new batteries, or batteries of
ifferent types. Replace the battery compartment cover. Slide it upwards until it locks in
place.

BASIC OPERATIONS
Preparation
1. Check if all the connections are right and then insert.
2. Press the POWER ON/OFF button on the rear panel of this unit.
3. Press the STANDBY button to switch on the unit or switch to standby mode.
4. Press the EJECT button to move the disc holder out. Put the disc on the disc holder
and press the EJECT button again.
5. The player will start loading the disc and playing the disc automatically.
Mode selection
Press SOURCE button on front panel or press the CD, BT, FM, AUX, USB buttons on remote
control to enter CD, Bluetooth, FM(Tuner), AUX IN(Au io) or USB mode.
Number buttons
The number buttons is used to select tracks/frequency/presets, etc.
Volume setting
Press the VOL+/- buttons on remote control or rotate the volume knob on the front panel to
adjust the volume.
Mute button
Press the MUTE button to mute the sound. Press again or press VOL+/- buttons to resume
the volume level.
Previous and next
Press the button to go to the previous song or the button to go to the next song.
Fast Forward and Rewind
Press the or button to fast forward or fast rewind by speed X1 (press once), or speed
X2 (press twice), press the third time to resume the normal speed.
Enter
Press the ENTER button to enable the selected items or start playback.
Pla /Pause
Press the PLAY/PAUSE button to pause the playback, press again to resume.
Stop
Press the STOP button to stop playback, press the PLAY/PAUSE button to re-start.

Tone (Bass/Treble)
Press the TONE button on the remote control to select bass or treble, then press the VOL+/-
buttons to adjust the effect of bass and treble
EQ
Press the EQ button on the remote control to select the different sound fields: Jazz, Rock,
Classic, Pop, Live, Dance and off.
Random
Press RANDOM button on the remote control to play the tracks in a random order.
*This mode is not functional with CD MP3/WMA*
ID 3
When playing MP3 tracks via a MP3 disc or USB device, press ID 3 button will show the
information of the tracks: artist, album, etc.
RDS
In FM mode, press the RDS button on the remote control to view the radio information:
PS: Program service name; PTY: Program type; CT: Clock time an ate; RT: Ra io
text.
Repeat
Press the REPEAT button to set repeat mode. Press once to repeat current track “ ”.
Press twice to repeat all tracks “ ”. Press the third time to cancel.
*Note: The repeat function is also available in USB mode.

S STEM CONNECTION
Please check the below connection an make safe an firm connection before using.
Do not switch on and off or press power switch frequently, switching on and off each time must
have an interval of 3 seconds.
ADDITIONAL CD FUNCTIONS
Program
This function makes tracks of CD be played in a programmed order. The unit can be
programmed 20 tracks at most each time. (Not enabled with CD MP3/WMA.)
1. While playing a CD disc, press the STOP button, then press the PROGRAM button, it will
display: PR 0100.
2. Input the number of the track which you want to play first, e.g. input 04, the fourth song
will be played as the first song. When you finish entering the first order, it will turn to the next
order automatically.
3. When you finish all progress, press ENTER to confirm, and it will play the tracks by the
programmed order.
4. To cancel programmed playing, press the STOP button twice to exit.

USB OPERATION
1. Insert the USB device to the USB port on the front panel of the unit.
2. Press the USB button on the remote control to enter USB mode.
3. The player will automatically detect the device and automatically start playing when it found
the device.
Note:
1. Depending on the amount of data and media speed, it may take longer for the system to
read the contents of the media device. This is not a malfunction.
2 . Even when the files are in a supported format (MP3), some may not play or display
depending on the compatibility.
BLUETOOTH OPERATION
Pair operation
1. Press the BT button to enter the Bluetooth mode. The indicator light flashes blue.
2. Turn on the Bluetooth function on your device (e.g. mobile phone).
3. Place your device in Bluetooth search mode. The mobile phone will search for this unit.
4. Select Ferguson HearMe from the list of found devices on the mobile phone.
5. Select OK or YES to pair and for some devices, enter “0000” for passkey.
6. When successfully paired with your device, the indicator light flashes steadily.
7. Turn off the Bluetooth function on your device to disconnect the device. The unit will enter
the Bluetooth pairing status automatically. Then follow the steps 2-5 of PAIR OPERATION to
connect to another device.
Note:
1. Some devices may connect immediately after pairing, some may take longer to connect.
2. The unit can only be connected and playing content from one device at a time.
FM OPERATION
Frequency range: 87.50-108.00MHz. Adjust the FM antenna to get the best sound qual ty.
1. Press the FM button to enter FM (Tuner) mode.
2. Press the MO/ST button to turn STEREO ON or OFF f there s strong stereo s gnal.
3. Press the SEARCH button to search stat ons from low to h gh frequency automat cally. Press aga n to stop
search ng.
4. Press TUNE+/- br efly to adjust the frequency n ncrement of 0.05MHz.
5. Press and hold TUNE+/- buttons on the remote control or press and hold PRESET+/- buttons on the front
panel to scan the next or prev ous frequency w th suff c ent recept on, once an ava lable frequency s found, t
w ll stop tun ng.

Select stations
1. There are default rad o stat ons whenever you turn on the un t w th good rad o s gnal recept on. Press the
NUMBER buttons d rectly to select stat ons you want.
2. Press the CH+/- buttons on remote control or PRESET+/- buttons on the front panel to sequent ally select
the prev ous or next stat on.
3. If you are aware of the stat on’s frequency, you can select the frequency to f nd stat ons. Press FREQ
button and then the NUMBER buttons on remote control to choose frequency. E.g. to l sten to 103.50MHz,
press FREQ button, then press 1, 3, 5, 0 to enter 103.50MHz.
Save Stations
You can at most save 60 stations of the unit.
To save 99.70MHz to the 15th stat on, press CH+/- or Number buttons 1, 5, to enter the 15th stat on; press
the FREQ button and nput 9, 9, 7, 0, then press the SAVE button to save.
TOUBLE SHOOTING
For your convenience, we have listed some methods to solve common problems you may
encounter when you use the system. If the problem occurs repeatedly, contact the nearest
maintenance center.
