QUICK START GUIDE
The Sitewarden SS400RF sounder beacon is designed to be used
within the Sitewarden RF re alarm system. It provides the user
with the exibility to install radio linked sounder beacons in the ideal
locations required for your system.
All Sitewarden SS400RF are required to be paired to a SP400RF.
Using the instructions provided with the SP400RF Fire Alarm, please
set up the MASTER unit rst and then proceed with the pairing of the
SS400RF sounder beacon, by following the steps overleaf.

Radio Linked Sounder Beacon
1. Remove the SS400RF from the base by
pushing in the tab found on the bottom of
the unit.
2. Connect the battery supplied to the lead
provided and replace in similar
position to the battery already installed.
You will hear a conrmation tone when
you have connected the battery.
3. Locate the switches at the top of the
circuit board and make sure that switch
SW1 is in the ON position, at the top of
the slider. Also ensure that SW7 is in
the ON position, at the top of the slider.
4. Now locate the PROG button on the rear
of the unit. With the sounder beacon
near to the MASTER site alarm, press and
release the PROG button on the sounder
beacon unit.
5. Now press and release the PROG button
on the MASTER unit. A ‘d’ will appear in
the LED display of the MASTER unit and
the sounder beacon will start to emit a
series of beeps.
6. Now press and release the PROG button
on the sounder beacon. You will hear a
conrmation tone and the units are
now paired.
7. Install the base using suitable xings in
the location desired, ensuring that it is
at least 2.1 metres from the oor.
8. Clip the unit back into the base and then
