Thank you for choosing the AquaBed Bed Heating & Cooling System. Please use this User’s
Guide for the proper installation, use, and maintenance of your AquaBed. A digital version of
this User’s Guide is also available on www.aquabedwarmer.com.

Please make sure the AquaBed
Water Heater is securely
connected to the Mattress Pad
before activation or usage.
Please only use drinkable tap or
bottled water to fill the AquaBed
Water Heater.
Please disconnect power to the
AquaBed Water Heater before
removing any water from the
unit.
Please use only a 120V charge wall
outlet.
Please place your AquaBed Water
Heater on a flat surface.
Please place the AquaBed Water
Heater within 2.3feet(70cm) from
your Mattress Pad.

Caution
Read the following instructions to avoid damaging your AquaBed Water Heater.
Do not overfill the AquaBed
Water Heater when filling.
Do not use any liquids other
than drinkable water when
filling the AquaBed Water Heater.
Do not try to fix or open the Aqua
Cool and Warm unit.
Do not fold the Mattress Pad
during operation or usage.
Do not fold or twist the Mattress
Pad hose on to the AquaBed
Water Heater.
Do not place the Mattress Pad on
top of any sharp objects.

Place the Mattress Pad on the desired location (i.e. top of bed mattress). When
first installing the AquaBed, lay your Mattress Pad flat out on the desired location
for at least 10 minutes before connecting it to the AquaBed Water Heater.
Remove the rubber caps on the hose connectors on the Mattress Pad and
AquaBed Water Heater. Note: Some AquaBed Water Heaters will contain residual
water from Quality Assurance testing.
Connect the Mattress Pad to the AquaBed Water Heater by inserting both hose
connectors on the AquaBed Water Heater. Make sure to secure the connection by
plugging the hose connector in and twisting it clockwise.
Plug the AquaBed Water Heater into a nearby wall outlet.
Upon connection, OFF should appear on the screen.

Prepare the water to fill the AquaBed Water Heater. Note: Use drinkable,
preferably bottled water. The necessary water volume depends on the size of your
AquaBed Mattress Pad.
Press the POWER button to turn on the AquaBed Water Heater.
You will notice a WATER & EMPTY message on the LCD.
Release the cap on the AquaBed Water Heater and slowly pour water into the
water storage. Make sure your Mattress Pad hose connectors are securely
plugged into the AquaBed Water Heater to prevent leaking.

If the AquaBed Water Heater is on, the unit will automatically pump the water into
the Mattress Pad. The three water level bars indicate the amount of water in the
AquaBed Water Heater.
As the AquaBed Water Heater pumps water into the Mattress Pad, the LEDs may
indicate a shortage of water.
Pour water into the AquaBed Water Heater until the water level indicator reads
“full”. If you see an “E1” message on the LCD, please pour more water into the
AquaBed Water Heater.
Upon initial installation, the AquaBed Water Heater may generate slight
noises/vibrations. The unit is removing all of the air pockets inside of the system
and will only last up to 90 seconds.
The temperature displayed on the bottom right side of the LCD indicates the
current water temperature within your system.
You can easily set your desired temperature by using UP and DOWN buttons. The
temperature range is 50°F to 158°F(10°C to 70°C).

auto mode
Auto Mode: This mode will allow you to set scheduled heating/cooling time.
A. Set current time
Hold the SET button for 2 seconds. The AquaBed Water Heater must be off. The current time on the top
left corner should be blinking. Select the current hour, minute, and AM/PM using the UP and DOWN
buttons - pressing SET between each item.
B. Set Auto Mode start time.
After you have set the current time, you will automatically be taken to schedule your Auto Mode start
time. To do this, use the UP and DOWN buttons to select the hour, minute, and AM/PM at which you
would like Auto Mode to start, pressing SET between each item.

C. Set Auto Mode temperature
After you have set your Auto Mode start time, you will automatically be taken to schedule your Auto
Mode temperature. To do this, select your desired temperature using the UP and DOWN buttons, then
press SET.
D. Set Auto Mode stop time.
After you have set your Auto Mode temperature, you will automatically be taken to schedule your Auto
Mode end time. To do this, use the UP and DOWN buttons to select the hour, minute, and AM/PM at
which you would like Auto Mode to end, pressing SET between each item.
Note: Auto Mode can only run a maximum of 24 hours.
Make sure to switch back to AutoOn/AutoOff mode. Manual will override the scheduled settings, and will
not follow the scheduled setting.

settings
Set current temperature
1. Turn the AquaBed Water Heater ON.
2. Press the SET button, or simply press the UP or DOWN buttons. The temperature will appear at the
bottom of the screen.
3. Select your desired temperature using the UP and DOWN buttons, then press SET.
Set run time
1. Turn the AquaBed Water Heater ON.
2. Press the TIME button. The current runtime will appear at the bottom of the screen.
3. Select your desired runtime using the UP and DOWN buttons, then press SET.
Note: the run timer range is 1 to 24 hours. The default is 8 hours.

Change temperature units
1. Turn the AquaBed Water Heater OFF.
2. Hold the MODE button for 2 seconds. F or C should appear on the bottom right of the screen.
3. Toggle between Farenheit or Celsius using the UP and DOWN buttons, then press SET.
Switch between Manual and Auto Mode
1. Press the POWER button to turn the AquaBed Water Heater OFF.
2. Press the MODE button to switch between Manual or Auto Mode.
The mode will be shown in the right side of the screen.
MANUAL
Manual/On: Allows you to change current temperature
while also keeping the Auto-set schedule.
Manual/Off: Current and Auto scheduled heating is off.
AUTO MODE
Auto/On: Indicates that the heating/cooling is on and
following the set schedule.
Auto/Off: Indicates that the heating/cooling is off but still
following the set schedule.

Check total hours used
1. Turn the AquaBed Water Heater OFF.
2. Hold the TIME button for 2 seconds. The total time used will appear in the top left of the screen.
Setting up child-lock mode
The AquaBed features a child-lock safety feature that locks all the buttons and functions in place on your
AquaBed Water Heater.
How to Lock - Hold the UP and DOWN buttons simultaneously for 3 seconds. The LOCK status will
appear on the screen. (all buttons are now disabled).
How to Unlock - Hold the UP and DOWN buttons simultaneously for 3 seconds. The LOCK status will
disappear from the screen (all buttons are now active).

& storage
Make sure the water in your AquaBed Water Heater has reached room temperature
before cleaning and storing.
Unplug the power supply for your
AquaBed Water Heater.
First, disconnect the LOWER hose
connector by twisting the plug
counter-clockwise and slowly
pulling away from the AquaBed
Water Heater.
Drain out all remaining water
inside of your system.
Before disconnecting the hose
connectors to the Mattress Pad,
place a pitcher or large-size bowl
(preferred) underneath the unit.
When the hose connectors are
disconnected water will spill out.
Second, disconnect EACH hose
connector by twisting the plug
counter-clockwise and slowly
pulling away from the AquaBed
Water Heater.
To drain the Mattress Pad, use the
included hand-pump on one hose
connector to push the water out of
the other hose connector.
After all of the water has been
drained, cover all hose connectors
with the original rubber caps.
Before storing your AquaBed,
allow both the Mattress Pad and
the unit to dry.

Every Aqua Cool and Warm is protected by our 2-year warranty or 5,000 hours. This will
cover you for defects and malfunctioning components. After the first cycle, the Aqua
Mattress Pad is not returnable or covered by warranty.
