1.
Cleaning
the
stylus:
Dust
particles
often
build
up
around
the
stylus.
If
the
build-up
be-
comes
excessive
it
will
result
in
poor
sound
reproduction
and
will
eventually
shorten
the
life
of
both
the
record
and
the
stylus.
Should
this
occur,
do
not
remove
the
dust
with
your
fingers.
Lift
the
tonearm
by
its
handle
and
blow
the
dust
away
or
use
a
stylus
brush
which
is
made
for
this
purpose.
2.
Replacing
the
stylus
(Model
No.
ST-09D):
To
assure
distortion-free
sound
reproduction,
replace
the
dia-
mond
stylus
after
1000
to
2000
LP
plays.
To
remove
the
old
stylus,
pull
out
the
stylus
assembly
as
shown
in
Fig.
20.
Replace
it
with
a
new
stylus
(available
from
your
Fisher
Service
Center).
3.
Cleaning
the
cabinet
and
visible
metal
parts:
Wipe
gently
with
a
soft
cloth
moistened
with
lukewarm
water
and
wrung
dry.
Never
use
benzol,
benzine
or
other
strong
chemical
cleaners
because
they
may
damage
the
finish
of
your
unit.
Do
not
allow
moisture
to
penetrate
to
the
inside
of
the
unit.
