CS201 Cable Sheath Stripper
Instruction Manual
Thank you for purchasing our CS201 cable sheath stripper.
Read this manual carefully before use. Keep this manual with
this product for future reference.
The specification of this product may be changed without prior

Read this manual carefully before use. After reading keep this
manual with this product. This instruction manual describes how to
operate this product safely in order to avoid accidents such as
potentially fatal injuries and property damages.
Various symbols are used throughout this instruction manual and on
the product to prevent physical harm to you or other people and
damage to property. The symbols and their meanings are explained
below.
Work carefully when you handle the cable which contains live
fiber.
Proceed work confirming the entering condition of the blade
without fail. It causes the fiber breaking when working without
confirmation.
Applicable cable of the CS201 is the PE and the LAP sheath
cables. Do not use for other cables. It causes the damage of the
blade or the fiber breaking.
Do not use CS201 for the cable with strength member inside cable
sheath.
Do not use under a humid or dirty conditions or under the vibration. It
causes the trouble.
Do not touch the blade of CS201. It causes the injury.
This tool is a sheath removal tool of PE and the LAP sheath cable
which has the rip cord.

■Operation Method
(1) Marking and Taping
Use vinyl tape to mark the section of the sheath which be removed.
(About 5 rotations)
Clean the cable if it is dirty.
（2）Attach the CS201
Attach the CS201 to the inside of the marked position.
Fasten the cable adjusting knob.
Confirm the CS201 smoothly slide.

（3）Lateral Cut
①Attach the CS201 to the default position.
②Rotate the blade adjusting knob until the blade touch the cable.
③Again, rotate the blade adjusting knob 1 to 3 division.
Move the CS201 to the cable vertically.
(Grip the CS201 near the cable)
Move the CS201 to not shift the groove as much as possible.
④Move the CS201 to the opposite side laterally. And return to the
default position.
⑤Repeat ③～④ until the cable core appears.
Get rid the scrap every one round trip.
Stop using the CS201 when you feel much resistance or the
CS201 does not slide smoothly.
（4）Circular Cut
①Return the blade, move the CS201 to the default position.
②Rotate the blade adjusting knob until the blade touch the cable.
③Again, rotate the blade adjusting knob 1 to 3 division.
④Rotate CS201 in the direction of below figures.
⑤Repeat ③～④ until the cable core appears.
⑥After the cable core appears cut the other side similarly.
（5）Strip the Sheath off
①Strip the sheath off by the nipper.
②Use rip cord to remove the sheath.
■Specifications
Rotate the CS201 to not shift the groove as much as possible.
Rotate the CS201 to the cable vertically.
(Grip the CS201 near the cable).

ご使用の前に必ずこの取扱説明書をお読み下さい。また、お
読みになった後は本製品のそばなど、いつもお手元において
お使い下さい。

本製品にて、現用回線を含んだケーブルを取り扱う際には慎重
に作業して下さい。
本製品は、光ファイバケーブルのシース・ストリッパです。本製
品をご使用の際は、必ず刃の入り具合を確認しつつ作業を進
めて下さい。刃の入り具合を確認することなく、作業を行うとファ
イバ断線等の可能性があります。
本製品はＰＥシース、ＬＡＰシースケーブルが対象となります。そ
れ以外のケーブルへは絶対に使用しないで下さい。刃の破損、
ファイバ断線等の危険があります。
本工具は、引き裂き紐を備えたＰＥ、ＬＡＰシースケーブルのシー
ス除去工具です。

ＰＥシース、ＬＡＰシースでもシース内に抗張力体があるケーブルは
適用外ですので絶対に使用しないで下さい。
本機に水が入ったりしないよう、またぬらさないようにご注意くださ
い。湿気やほこりの多い場所に置かないで下さい。故障の原因と
なることがあります
本製品のストリッパ部分には刃物を使用しています。直接触れると
危険ですので絶対に触れないで下さい。

※上記以外のケーブルには絶対に使用しないで下さい。

■作業手順
（１）マーキング・及びテーピング
シース除去部の両端にテーピングを行います。
（ビニールテープで 5回巻き）
<注意事項>
ケーブルが汚れている場合は、ケーブルを清掃後に作業を行って
下さい。
（2）工具のセット
刃が出ていないことを確認し工具をテーピングの内側にセットしま
す。（Ｖ溝をケーブルに合わせ確実に固定します）
工具がテーピング間をスムーズにスライドすること確認します。

（3）縦裂き
①テーピングの側に工具を移動させます
②シースに当たるまで刃を出します
③更に１～３目盛回転させます（刃を出します）
<注意事項>
ケーブルに対して工具を垂直に移動させて下さい（ケーブルに
近い部分に力を掛ける）
繰り返し作業は、溝を出来るだけはずさない様にスライドさせ
て下さい

④反対側のテーピングの方向に移動させたら元の位置に戻します
⑤ケーブルコア部が確認出来るまで③～④の作業を繰り返します
溝からはみ出た削り屑は、１往復ごとに除去して下さい
大きな抵抗を感じた場合は無理をしないで工具を外し、シース
及び工具を確認して下さい
（4）輪切り
①刃を戻し、工具をテーピング位置に移動します。（輪切り位置）
②シースに当たるまで刃を出します
③更に１～３目盛回転させます（刃を出します）
④図の方向に 1回転させます。
⑤ケーブルコア部が確認出来るまで③～④の作業を繰り返します
⑥ケーブルコアが一部でも確認出来たら、反対側も輪切りにします
<注意事項>
ケーブルに対して工具を垂直に移動させて下さい（ケーブルに
近い部分に力を掛ける）
繰り返し作業は、溝を出来るだけはずさない様にスライドさせ
て下さい
（5）シースの剥ぎ取り
①ニッパなどでシースを起こし、シースを剥ぎ取って下さい
②引き裂きひもにて口出し寸法長まで縦裂きして下さい
<注意事項>
引き裂き紐が縦裂き位置から大きくはずれている場合、無理に
引っ張ると切れる場合があります。ニッパ等でシースに切れる
道を付け紐の方向に裂いて下さい
