In case of use of the ADEZZ® built-in burner these safety instructions should always be followed to reduce the risk of
re and other damages to people and property.
Read these safety instructions carefully before the ADEZZ built-in burner is put into operation.
1. The ADEZZ® built-in burner must always be tted according to the installation instructions. The ADEZZ® built-in
burner should be placed directly on a solid, stable surface.
2. The device must be placed away from ammable materials (min. 2 meters) and the area around the appliance
must be clear of combustible materials and/or liquids.
3. Before use, check if all connections to the cylinder are properly and tightly tted. If the connections are loose,
make sure everything is tightened before use. Make sure the gas is turned off while working on the device.
4. Every time the gas connection is re-connected, the gas connection and hose must be checked for leaks. See
chapter 2.4.
5. The hose must never come into contact with hot surfaces of the burner.
6. The hose must comply with all national laws and regulations. The hose is connected to the supplied gas pressure
regulator.
7. Never change the air valve settings of the burner. If the air vents of the re rings are blocked, the device is no
longer safe for use and a gas specialist should be contacted.
8. Never obstruct the free ow of air and oxygen to the device. Never change anything to the gas-technical
system of this unit. Any changes to the system can be dangerous and will void any warranty on the device.
9. Keep children and pets away from the unit. The ADEZZ® built-in burner has components which become very
hot when in use. After use wait until the appliance has fully cooled down before children and pets come into
contact with the device. We recommend a cool down period of at least 1.5 hours.
10. Never move the ADEZZ® built-in burner if the device is in use. Wait at least 1.5 hours after use before moving it.
11. Never leave the ADEZZ® built-in burner without supervision during use.
12. The device has an open re, make sure that during use of the ADEZZ® built-in burner there will always be
supervision on children and pets by a mature and responsible person.
13. Do not touch the lava rocks and ceramic logs until they are completely cooled down.
14. Turn off the gas supply after use.

earlier, the burner will be damaged and a re may occur.
16. The ADEZZ® built-in burner is designed to emit warmth and should only be used outside.
17. Always use the prescribed gas cylinders as described in this manual.
18. The ADEZZ® built-in burner should always be used outdoors or in well-ventilated areas. A well-ventilated room is

2 . Installation instructions regarding ADEZZ® built-in burners
The ADEZZ® built-in burner is supplied complete with pressure regulator (50 mbar) and gas hose. You only need to
purchase a propane gas bottle. These can be purchased at your local gas supplier.
1. Installing the ADEZZ® built-in burner
Remove your ADEZZ® built-in burner carefully from its packaging. Select the location for the ADEZZ® built-in burner.
The location must meet the following conditions:
- Make sure that the built-in burner is placed on an unammable surface. The surface should be completely
at and clean. The built-in burner should not be installed in materials which conduct heat.
- The ADEZZ® built-in burner should be placed at least two meters from ammable materials and liquids.
2. Placing the bottle
ADEZZ® built-in burners are only suitable for propane gas. Ensure yourself of purchasing the correct gas bottle. Make
sure the gas bottle is placed on a non ammable solid surface.
The supplied hose is one meter long. Place the gas bottle at a maximum distance of one meter from the built-in
burner. Position the gas hose carefully, people and pets can stumble over it. Therefore place the bottle always there
where acces is impossible and where children and pets cannot reach. Connect the gas bottle to the supplied
pressure regulator. When you are not using the built-in burner make sure the gas valve on the gas bottle is closed.
3. Replacing the cylinder
Is the gas bottle empty and in need of replacement? Make sure the gas valve is always in the closed position when
handeling the gas bottle. Only when all surfaces are cooled down and the gass bottle is closed, remove the pressure
regulator. After placing a new bottle always check for leaks (see 4.).
4. Replacing the hose and pressure regulator
We advise you to replace your propane gas hose every four years. Pressure regulators can last for ve years. Always
check for leaks after replacing the pressure regulator and gas hose.
How to check your built-in burner for gas leaks:
- Open the gas bottle but do not turn on the burner!
- Mix half water and half detergent, spray this liquid on every connector and the hose.
If there is a gas leak in the connections or the hose, it will cause the liquid to bubble.
- If bubbles are visible, immediately close the gas bottle and replace the leaking part(s).
- If the problem persists, please contact a qualied gas professional.
When replacing the hose or pressure regulator, make sure they are installed in the correct way. The hose should not
be longer than 1.5 meters. When in doubt, always consult a qualied gas professional.

5. Replacing the piezo ignition battery
The built-in burner features a piezo ignition that runs on a single AA battery. After repeated use, the battery will run
out. The battery can be replaced as following:
- Make sure the model, ceramic logs and lava rocks are completely cooled down.
- Make sure the device is no longer connected to the gas bottle.
- The battery can be found in the black ingnition button.
- The black ignition button can be twisted off in order to acces the battery.
- The old battery should be recycled.
6. Moving the unit
We advise to reduce the relocating of the built-in burner to a minimum. With every move you risk to damage the
built-in burner. When relocating the device is necessary, make sure it’s disconnected from the gas bottle.
Make sure the new location meets all the previously mentioned specications.
7. Placing the cover plate
A stainless steel cover plate is included with every built-in burner. It’s the ideal protector for your burner against
weather inuences. We therefor advise you to always use this cover plate when the burner is not in use. Before
placing the cover plate, make sure all components are cooled down after use. All ceramic logs need to be
removed before placing the cover plate, make sure they are cooled down so you do not burn yourself!

The burner should now ignite within 15 seconds . Keep the control knob pushed in for an additional 15
seconds after the ame has fully ignited. Release the knob and the ame should continue to burn.
If not, repeat the process but hold in the control knob longer after igniting the ame.
Switching off the ADEZZ® built-in burner
- Turn the control knob to the left so the ame goes out. If the ame is out, turn off the gas valve on the gas
bottle.
