SAFETY INSTRUCTION 安全注意事項
Thank you very much for purchasing Fortress electric storage water heater. This product is only
suitable to bathroom.
多謝選購豐澤牌花灑儲水式電熱水爐。此産品適合直接供應水於浴室用。
The following safety precautions must be taken when installing and using your electric water
heater.
於使用及安裝此熱水器前，請閱讀以下之安全預防措施及操守：
1. To avoid electric shock, fire or injury, please read the user manual carefully before using the
appliance and keep it for future reference.
為避免觸電、火警或人身傷害的危險，在使用本機前，請仔細閱讀本說明書，並保留作日
後參考。
2. This appliance is for household use only. Please use suitable power source (220V~/50Hz).
本機只供家庭用途及只能在規定電壓和頻率(220V~/50Hz)下使用。
3. Never immerse the appliance in water or other liquids.
請勿將本機浸放於水或其他液體中。
4. Do not use the appliance under direct sunshine.
請勿在陽光直接照射下使用本機。
5. Please turn off the appliance when not in use otherwise it may result in danger.
爲保障安全，不使用本機時，必須關機，以免發生意外。
6. Keep the appliance away from children.
請確保兒童遠離本機。
7. The appliance is not intended for used by persons (including children) with reduced physical,
sensory or mental capabilities, or lack of experience and knowledge, unless they have been
given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance by a person responsible for their
safety.
除非有安全人員的指導或協助下，並確保使用者的安全，否則本機不可由兒童、精神病人、
殘疾人士及反應過慢之人士使用。
8. Children should be supervised to ensure that they do not play with the appliance.
請照顧好小孩，不要讓小孩把玩本機。
9. With any indication of malfunction (including the power cord), please stop using the appliance
immediately to avoid hazard. Take it to the authorized service center for repair. Do not attempt
to repair or change any parts by yourself.
如果本機出現任何損壞或故障(包括電源線)，為避免危險，請立即停止使用，以及到本公
司的指定維修中心，讓合資格人員檢查及維修。請勿自行拆卸、檢查或更換不符合安全規
格的配件。
10.Please turn off the appliance before cleaning or maintenance.
清潔或檢查本機前，必須先關機及切斷電源。

11.Clean the surface of the appliance with a dry cloth. Do not use corrosive detergent or solvent to
clean. Do not swash the appliance with water.
清潔本機時，應用乾布抹擦，不要用任何腐蝕性的洗滌劑或溶劑等產品清潔，及嚴禁用水
沖洗。
12.When the appliance is not in use for a prolonged period, please turn it off.
本機長期不使用時，應關機及切斷電源。
13.Forbid to put flammable and explosive objects around the appliance, and do not use the
appliance in an environment full of flammable gas and powder. Keep away from any fire and
heat sources.
嚴禁擺放易燃、易爆物品在本機周圍，也不可在充滿可燃氣體及粉塵的場合下使用本機。
請將本機遠離任何火源及熱源。
14.Please turn off the power supply of the water heater during installation, maintenance or
suspension of water supply. Also after the occasion mentioned above, please ensure the water
heater is fully filled with water by turning the mixer tap to the right side (with red dot) until
water flow out from the shower head then keep the water flowing out for 5 minutes.
於安裝，維修或大廈停水後的首次使用前，請先關閉電源。然後開啟混合水制的右邊熱水
制(帶紅點的一方)，直至花灑頭排出用水約 5分鐘。請確保熱水器完全注滿用水，方可開
啟電源。
15.Please do not use the water heater during suspension or intermittent supply of water.
請勿於停水或間歇性供水的情況下使用本機。
16.The shower hose and the shower head are designed as a vent for the water heater. During the
heating process, water drops from the shower head is a normal phenomenon. Therefore, please
do not install any valve on or bend the shower hose.
此熱水器的特殊設計是以花灑頭用作排氣管道。在加熱過程中花灑頭會有小量用水滴出，
純屬正常排氣現象。因此，請勿以加裝閘制或摺曲花灑喉等方法阻塞花灑頭排氣和排水。
17.The heater must be connected with its own specific power source, which must be installed in
compliance with local wiring, earthing and safety regulation.
此熱水器電源需接駁於獨立配電箱上，而安裝方法須根據使用地區之電器標準及條例執
行。
18.Depending on local regulation and your specific installation, you may need to install:
A suitable loading circuit breaker.
An earth leak circuit breaker.
根據使用地區之電工條例及當地法例，需接駁最少一款如下：
適合之自動斷路掣
適合之漏電斷路掣
19.Make sure that, the unit is correctly and properly installed at all time.
Do not place clothing or other materials over it.
確定熱水器安裝在安全、穩固及接駁無誤情況下工作。
不可把衣物或什物放在熱水器上。

20.NEVER spill liquid of any kind into the unit, should this happen, turn off the power and contact
with the authorized service center for service.
不可濺灑任何液體於熱水器內，如發生，請即關掉電源及聯絡本公司的指定維修中心檢
查。
21.Always ensure that the power cord is in good condition. If the power cord is damaged in any
way, it must be replaced by an authorized technician.
Do not use an extension cord with other appliance.
請確保電源線處於良好狀態。如果電源線損壞，必須由合資格的技師更換。
不可用電源延伸座或其他家電與熱水器連接。
22.Under no circumstances should the shower hose, shower head and the mixer tap to be replaced
by non genuine products. Otherwise, it will affect the safety of the water heater and damage its
major components.
在任何情況下，都不可擅自更換非原廠的花灑喉，花灑頭及混合水制。否則，將會影響本
機的安全性和破壞其主要組件。
23.Do not connect massage shower head to water heater.
不可使用附有按摩功能之花灑頭於熱水器上。
24.A switch is intended to disconnect the water heater from the supply, should disconnect all poles
and should have a contact separation of at least 3mm (Complied with IEC/BSEN standard). And
the switch must be installed outside the bathroom.
電力開關須使用符合英國標準的雙極電源開關掣而該掣接觸部分需最少相距三亳米。並且
該掣必須安裝於浴室之外。
WARNING: THIS APPLIANCE MUST BE EARTHED. Manufacturer or agent shall not be
held responsible for damages resulted from incorrect installation or misuse of heater.
警告: 本電器産品必須接駁良好地線。若不按照製造商說明書指示安裝, 或使用不當而引起一
切損失，本公司或製造商均不需負任何責任。

IMPORTANT 注意事項
WARNING: The water heater outlet acts as a vent and must not be connected to any tap or
fitting other than those recommended by manufacture.
警告: 此熱水爐的出水位祗可作排水口, 並祗可供應接駁廠組裝花灑喉配件用，決不
能接駁任何其它水掣阻塞出水。
CAUTION: In order to avoid a hazard due to inadvertent resetting of the thermal cut-out,
this appliance must not be supplied through an external switching device, such as
a timer, or connected to a circuit that is regularly switched on and off by the
utility.
注意: 爲避免由熱斷路器的誤會重設而産生危險，器具不能通過外部開關裝置供電，例
如計時器或者連接到由通用部件定時進行通、斷的電路。
1. Do not use the Temperature Control as an ON/OFF switch. It is only recommended for
Summer/Winter adjustments.
不要用恒溫掣來控制電源, 只可用作預調水溫,例如夏天或冬天時水溫的要求不同時方可
調較。
2. If the water heaters have taken the tank cleaning or under repair, it should be drained. Firstly,
turn off the electric supply and switch off the water heater. Then open the cold water valve for
cold water fill in the tank. After the hot water drain out, use spanner to nut and loosen it. Then
water will drain out from the cold water inlet until empty.
熱水器放水程序：首先將所有電源切斷。然後開啓紅點熱水掣直至讓爐內有冷水排出。 關
上自來水的閘掣。開啓藍點冷水掣並確保自來水的供應已終止。使用水喉工具把兩個半邊
索索母松脫。此時熱水爐內的水便從冷水入水喉流出，直至大部分的水排出才停止。
3. When using the electric water heater, the water pressure should not be greater than 1.0MPa, and
the flow rate should not be greater than 8 litres per minute. Otherwise inner tank of the water
heater will be damaged.
在使用本電熱爐時，必須注意來水水壓不能超越1.0MPa，和水流量必須少於每分鐘8公升，
否則會損壞電熱水爐結構。
4. Make sure the installation of the water heater is absolutely correct and stable;
熱水器的安裝必須安全穩固并且確保電源線接駁正確無誤。
5. The appliance with manual cut-out, to reset the cut-out, the power should be off.
帶有非自復位熱斷路器（通過切斷電源復位）的電熱器具，如果熱斷路器要復位，則必須
先切斷電源再進行復位。

6. A minimum clearance of 150cm between the floor and the appliance if it is wall-mounted.
牆壁安裝式器具，建議爐底離地面 150cm 的距離。
7. The appliances using flexible water tube should notice that the tube cannot be reused when it is
replaced with a new one the manual.
使用可拆卸軟管組件連接水源的器具，其使用說明應聲明使用隨器具附帶的新軟管組件，
舊軟管組件不能重復利用。
INSTALLATION PROCEDURE 安裝程序
WATER SUPPLY CONNECTION 水管接駁
1. Fix the wall-mount bracket on the wall by screw. Position the water heater with 170cm from the
ground.
將熱水器的掛牆背碼用螺絲牢固在預先選定安裝熱水器的牆上位置，位置應距離地面約
170cm。
2. Hang the water heater onto the wall-mount bracket.
將熱水器掛在背碼上。
3. Close the water supply.
將水源龍頭關起。
4. Connect the water mixer to the unit by chrome & plated pipes and unit washers.(Diagram1)
利用提供之索母, 將電鍍銅通與混合龍頭及爐身連接起。（圖 1）
5. Connect the water supply to the water inlet of water mixer. You should find the Cold Water
Valve with a Blue dot indication on the left, and the hot water valve with a Red dot on the right.
將來水管接上混合龍頭後中央入口處，面對固定後的龍頭左邊水掣應爲藍點，顯示爲冷水
開關掣，右邊有紅點顯示爲熱水開關掣。
6. Position the water mixer with about 150cm from the ground.
將花灑座安裝於離地面約 150cm。
7. Check all Pipe connections for leakage and turn on the water supply. Turn on the ‘Hot Water
Valve’ to fill up the water heater with water.
檢查所有接駁口，從新開啓水源，開啓混合龍頭的紅點熱水掣讓水注入爐內將爐膽內的空
氣順利排出。

ELECTRICAL CONNECTION 電氣接駁
Caution: For safety, all electrical installation must be carried out by qualified technicians.
Always inspect the power cord and must be replaced by qualified technicians in case
of damage.
注意: 爲確保安全，請安排合格技術員進行接駁。經常檢查電源線，如電源線損壞，需由
授權人士更換。
Caution: Do not switch on Electrical Supply to the Water Heater until it is completely filled.
注意:在熱水器未入滿水之前, 切勿啓動電源。
1. In the case of a 3kW rated unit, a 15Amp. Double Pole Linked switch with neon light must be
provided and installed at the entrance to the shower area to enable termination of electrical
supply to the water heater when necessary. Electrical supply to the water heater must be
connected to an individual fuse or circuit breaker of 15 Amp. In the main fuse board. The water
heater should be permanently connected to the fixed wiring of the installation.
如果熱水器的發熱線功能是3千瓦（kW），便可以用一個安裝在浴室門外的15安培的雙極
電源帶燈開關掣控制來電，電源要直接由主電箱供應，接上15安培或以上的保險絲或跳掣。
本電熱水器必須使用固定佈線電纜(俗稱硬線)連接。
2. Make sure the water heater is filled with water before turn on the power.
使用前，請確保熱水器已注滿水。

OPERATION INSTRUCTION 操作說明
1. Turn on the power supply, water will be heat up and 'Red' indicator will flash.
啓動電源, 熱水爐紅色顯示燈閃動, 即熱水爐正在加熱。
2. When the water temperature reaches the preset level, 'Yellow' indicator will light.
待黃色顯示燈亮起時, 表示水溫已達到預校溫度。
3. Always turn the cold water tap "ON" first. Turn the hot water tap "ON" slowly to get a warm
stream of water from the shower or tap.
用水時一定先開冷水掣, 再續步扭開熱水掣調和水溫至適用程度。
