Introduction
The RM-3DT is a rack-mount type powered monitor equipped with a Dante function, and provides Dante network signals and analog audio
signals monitoring.
 WARNINGS and PRECAUTIONS
• CAUTION: The symbol To prevent electric shock hazard, do not connect to mains
power supply while grille is removed.
• WARNING: An apparatus with CLASS I construction shall be connected to a MAINS
socket outlet with a protective earthing connection.
• CAUTION: TO PREVENT ELECTRIC SHOCK, MATCH WIDE BLADE OF PLUG TO WIDE
SLOT, FULLY INSERT.
• WARNING: To reduce the risk of fire or electric shock, do not expose this apparatus to
rain or moisture.
• CAUTION: Use of any controls or adjustments or performance of procedures other
than those herein specified may result in hazardous radiation exposure.
• WARNING: Changes or modifications to this unit not expressly approved by the party
responsible for compliance could void the user’s authority to operate the equipment.
• WARNING: Do not place the unit on top of any soft, porous, or sensitive surfaces to
avoid damaging the surface. Use a protective barrier between the unit and surface to
protect the surface.
• WARNING: Use of this unit near fluorescent lighting may cause interference regarding
use of the remote. If the unit is displaying erratic behavior move away from any
fluorescent lighting, as it may be the cause.
• WARNING: Do not install this equipment in a confined space such as a book case or
similar unit.
• WARNING: Mains plug is used as disconnect device and it should remain readily
operable during intended use. In order to disconnect the apparatus from the mains
completely, the mains plug should be disconnected from the mains socket outlet
completely.

The lightning flash with arrowhead symbol, within an equilateral triangle,
is intended to alert the user to the presence of uninsulated“dangerous
voltage”within the product’s enclosure that may be of sufficient magnitude
to constitute a risk of electric shock to persons.
The exclamation point within an equilateral triangle is intended to alert the
user to the presence of important operating and maintenance (servicing)
instructions in the literature accompanying the appliance.
 SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
1. Read Instructions - All the safety and operating instructions should be read before
the appliance is operated.
2. Retain Instructions - The safety and operating instructions should be retained for
future reference.
3. Heed Warnings - All warnings on the appliance and in the operating instructions
should be adhered to.
4. Follow Instructions - All operating and use instructions should be followed.
5. Water and Moisture - The appliance should not be used near water - for example,
near a bathtub, washbowl, kitchen sink, laundry tub, in a wet basement, or near a
swimming pool, and the like.
6. Carts and Stands - The appliance should be used only with a cart or
stand that is recommended by the manufacturer.
The appliance and cart combination should be moved with care.
Quick stops, excessive force, and uneven surfaces may cause the
appliance and cart combination to overturn.
7. Wall or Ceiling Mounting - The appliance should be mounted to a wall or ceiling only
as recommended by the manufacturer.
8. Ventilation - The appliance should be situated so that its location or position does
not obstruct proper ventilation. For example, the appliance should not be situated
on a bed, sofa, rug, or similar surface that may block the ventilation openings; or,
placed in a built-in installation, such as a bookcase or cabinet that may impede the
flow of air through the ventilation openings.
9. Heat - The appliance should be situated away from heat sources such as radiators,
heat registers, stoves, or other appliances (including amplifiers) that produce heat.
10. Power Sources - The appliance should be connected to a power supply only of the
type described in the operating instructions or as marked on the appliance.
11. Grounding or Polarization - The precautions that should be taken so that the
grounding or polarization means of the appliance is not compromised.
12. Power Cord Protection - Power supply cords should be routed so that they are not
likely to be walked on or pinched by items placed upon or against them, paying
particular attention to cords at plugs, convenience receptacles, and the point where
they exit from the appliance.
13. Cleaning - The appliance should be cleaned only as recommended by the
manufacturer.
14. Nonuse Periods - The power cord of the appliance should be unplugged from the
outlet when left unused for a long period of time.
15. Object and Liquid Entry - Care should be taken so that objects do not fall and liquids
are not spilled into the enclosure through openings.
16. Damage Requiring Service - The appliance should be serviced by qualified service
personnel when:
A. The power supply cord or the plug has been damaged; or
B. Objects have fallen, or liquid has been spilled into the appliance; or
C. The appliance has been exposed to rain; or
D. The appliance does not appear to operate normally or exhibits a marked change
in performance; or
E. The appliance has been dropped, or the enclosure damaged.
17. Servicing - The user should not attempt to service the appliance beyond that
described in the operating instructions.
All other servicing should be referred to qualified service personnel.
18. The appliance should be situated away from drops of water or spraying water.
19. Objects containing liquid such as vases must not be put on the appliance.
20. The appliance is not completely isolated from the power supply even if the power
switch is in the off position.
21. Appliance shall not be exposed to dripping or splashing and no objects filled with
liquids, such as vases, shall be placed on the appliance.
22. Only use attachments/accessories specified by the manufacturer.
23. Appliances with a protective earth terminal should be connected to a mains outlet
with a protective earth connection.
24. The appliance should be placed in a position where an AC plug / inlet can be easily
pulled out by hand.
25. The main plug is used as the disconnection device. It shall remain readily operable
and should not be obstructed during intended use. To completely disconnect the
appliance from supply mains, the mains plug of the appliance shall be disconnected
from the mains socket outlet completely.
 FCC (U.S.A.) & ICES-003 (Canada) INFORMATION
1. IMPORTANT NOTICE
This product, when installed as indicated in the instructions contained in this manual,
meets FCC and ICES-003 requirements. Changes or modifications not expressly
approved by Fostex Company for compliance could void the user’ s authority to
operate the equipment. DO NOT MODIFY THIS PRODUCT.
2. IMPORTANT
In order to comply with FCC and ICES-003 requirements, use high quality shielded
cables for connection to accessories and / or another products. If any cables are
supplied with this product, they MUST be used. Follow all installation instructions.
Failure to do so could void your FCC / ICES-003 authorization to use this product in
the USA / Canada.
3. NOTE
This equipment has been tested and found to comply with the limits for a Class
B digital device, pursuant to Part 15 of the FCC Rules. These limits are designed
to provide reasonable protection against harmful interference in a residential
installation. This equipment generates, uses and can radiate radio frequency
energy and, if not installed and used in accordance with instructions, may cause
harmful interference to radio communications. However, there is no guarantee that
interference will not occur in a particular installation. If this equipment does cause
harmful interference to radio or television reception, which can be determined by
turning the equipment off and on, the user is encouraged to correct the interference
by one or more of the following measures:
• Reorient or relocate the receiving antenna.
• Increase the separation between the equipment and receiver.
• Connect the equipment into an outlet on a circuit different from that to which the
receiver is connected.
• Consult the dealer or an experienced radio/TV technician for help.
4. Compliance with Part 15 of FCC Rules and Canadian ICES-003.
This device complies with Part 15 of the FCC Rules. Operation is subject to the
following two conditions: (1) This device may not cause harmful interference, and (2)
this device must accept any interference received, including interference that may
cause undesired operation.
This Class B digital apparatus complies with Canadian ICES-003. Cet appareil

 Features of the RM-3DT
• The unit supports balanced analog input and Dante input.
• It has a power saving design with a digital amplier and switched-mode power supply.
• The 26 dot LED meter supports 4 dierent display modes: VU, VU+PEAK, VU+PEAK HOLD, PEAK+PEAK HOLD.
• The display has 4 brightness settings.
• The unit is designed to output either or both of any two-channel digital signals out of Dante network signals.

Outputs the signal being input through the [ANALOG INPUT]
(XLR) terminal.

Connects a LAN cable (RJ45 type). Use an Ethernet cable with
CAT5e or higher.

Used to congure various settings (page 4). ⑬[POWER] switch

Used to connect to a power outlet using the supplied power
cord.
A grounding type plug has a third grounding prong. The third
prong are provided for your safety.
If the provided plug does not t into your AC outlet, consult an
electrician for replacement of the obsolete outlet.
Do not use any power cord other than the one supplied.
 Dante Network and System
Dante® is a network-audio protocol developed by Audinate.
Dante network system transmits multiple uncompressed digital audio signals over IP networks compatible with Gigabit Ethernet.

The meter scale has 26 dot LED consisting of a 24 dot level meter, an input presence level indicator and a peak over level indicator.
You can choose from four combinations of PEAK and VU to be displayed on the meter (“DIP switch settings”(page 4)).

Switches and buttons on the front of the unit
1 [INPUT] switch
Select the input (analog or Dante) to monitor.
The unit will automatically store the switch status within approximately three
seconds.

This indicates reboot request status.
When the Dante module of this unit have been upgraded using the
Dante controller, conrm the above indication, and turn the power o
and then on to apply the new rmware.
Since rebooting cannot be commanded from the Dante controller, it
is necessary to manually turn the power of the unit o and then on to
apply the new rmware.

Select the output channel.
The unit will automatically store the switch status within approximately
three seconds.

When in mute, briey press the mute button again to return to the
normal state.
The unit is never muted (sound can be heard) when it is turned on.

The Affect of Immunity on This Equipment
The affect of the European Specification EN61000-6-1 (coexistence of electromagnetic waves - common immunity specification) on
this equipment are as shown below.
In the electrical fast transient/burst requirements, surge, conducted disturbances by radio-frequency fields, power frequency
magnetic field, radiate electromagnetic field requirements and static electricity discharging environment, this could be affected by
generation of noise in some cases.

Introduction
Le RM-3DT est un moniteur alimenté en rack équipé d’une fonction Dante et fournit une surveillance des signaux de réseau Dante et des
signaux audio analogiques.
 AVERTISSEMENT et PRÉCAUTIONS
• ATTENTION: Le symbole Pour éviter tout risque de choc électrique, ne connectez pas
l’appareil au secteur quand la grille est retirée.
• AVIS: L’appareil de construction de CLASSE I doit être raccordé à une prise SECTEUR dotée
d’une protection par mise à la terre.
• ATTENTION: POUR ÉVITER TOUT CHOC ÉLECTRIQUE, FAITES CORRESPONDRE LA BROCHE
LARGE DE LA FICHE AVEC LA FENTE LARGE ET INSÉREZ BIEN À FOND.
• AVIS: Pour réduire le risque d’incendie ou de choc électrique, n’exposez pas cet appareil à la
pluie ou à l’humidité.
• ATTENTION: L’utilisation de commandes, de réglages ou de procédures autres que ceux

Le symbole de l’éclair à l’intérieur d’un triangle équilatéral est destiné à alerter
l’utilisateur sur la présence d’une «tension dangereuse» non isolée dans
le boîtier de l’appareil. Cette tension peut être suffisante pour provoquer
l’électrocution de personnes.
Le point d’exclamation dans un triangle équilatéral est destiné à attirer l’attention
de l’utilisateur sur la présence d’instructions importantes de fonctionnement et
d’entretien (réparation) dans les instructions fournies avec cet appareil.
 INSTRUCTIONS DE SÉCURITÉ
1. Lisez les instructions - Vous devez lire toutes les consignes de sécurité et de
fonctionnement avant d’utiliser l’appareil.
2. Conservez les instructions - Vous devez conserver les consignes de sécurité et de
fonctionnement pour référence ultérieure.
3. Tenez compte des avertissements - Vous devez respecter tous les avertissements se
trouvant sur l’appareil et dans les instructions d’utilisation.
4. Suivez les instructions - Vous devez suivre toute les instructions de fonctionnement et
d’utilisation.
5. Eau et humidité - L’appareil ne doit pas être utilisé près de l’eau - par exemple, près d’une
baignoire, d’un lavabo, d’un évier, une cuve à lessive, dans un sous-sol humide, ou près
d’une piscine, etc.
6. Chariots et supports- L’appareil doit être utilisé uniquement avec un
chariot ou un support recommandé par le fabricant.
La combinaison de l’appareil et du chariot doit être déplacé avec
précaution. Des arrêts brusques, une force excessive et des surfaces
inégales peuvent causer la chute de la combinaison de l’appareil et du
chariot.
7. Mur ou au plafond - L’appareil doit être monté sur un mur ou au plafond, de la façon
recommandée par le fabricant.
8. Ventilation - L’appareil doit être placé de façon que son emplacement ou sa position
ne gêne pas la ventilation correcte. Par exemple, l’appareil ne doit pas être placé sur un
lit, un canapé, un tapis ou une surface similaire qui pourrait bloquer les ouvertures de
ventilation; ou, placé dans une installation intégrée, comme une bibliothèque ou un
meuble qui pourrait empêcher le flux d’air qui sort par les ouvertures de ventilation.
9. Chaleur - L’appareil doit être placé loin des sources de chaleur telles que des radiateurs,
registres de chaleur, poêles ou autres appareils (y compris les amplificateurs) qui
produisent de la chaleur.
10. Alimentation - L’appareil doit être connecté à une source d’alimentation du type décrit
dans les instructions de fonctionnement ou indiqué sur l’appareil.
11. Mise à la terre ou polarisation - Les précautions à prendre afin que la mise à la terre ou la
polarisation de l’appareil ne doivent pas être compromis.
12. Protection du cordon d’alimentation - Les cordons d’alimentation doivent être disposés
de sorte qu’ils ne puissent pas être piétinés ou pincés par des objets placés sur ou contre
eux, en faisant particulièrement attention aux cordons au niveau des fiches, des prises de
courant, et au point où ils sortent de l’appareil.
13. Nettoyage - L’appareil doit être nettoyée exclusivement selon les recommandations du
fabricant.
14. Périodes de non-utilisation - Le cordon d’alimentation de l’appareil doit être débranché
de la prise quand l’appareil n’est pas utilisé pendant une longue période de temps.
15. Entrée d’objets et de liquides - Faites attention que des objets ne tombent pas ou que
des liquides ne coulent pas dans le boîtier à travers les ouvertures.
16. Dommages nécessitant une réparation - L’appareil doit être réparé par un personnel
qualifié lorsque:
A. Le cordon d’alimentation ou la prise a été endommagé; ou
B. Des objets sont tombés, ou du liquide a été renversé dans l’appareil; ou
C. L’appareil a été exposé à la pluie; ou
D. L’appareil ne semble pas fonctionner normalement ou présente un changement de
performance important; ou
E. L’appareil est tombé ou le boîtier est endommagé.
17. Entretien - L’utilisateur ne doit pas tenter de réparer l’appareil au-delà de ce qui est décrit
dans les instructions d’utilisation.
Toutes les autres réparations doivent être confiées à un personnel qualifié.
18. L’appareil doit être placé loin des gouttes d’eau ou de la pulvérisation d’eau.
19. Les objets contenant du liquide tels que des vases ne doivent pas être mis sur l’appareil.
20. L’appareil n’est pas complètement isolé de l’alimentation, même si l’interrupteur
d’alimentation est en position d’arrêt.
21. L’appareil ne doit pas être exposé aux fuites d’eau ni aux éclaboussures, et aucun objet
rempli de liquide tel qu’un vase ne doit être placé sur l’appareil.
22. N’utilisez que des accessoires spécifiés par le fabricant.
23. Les appareils avec un raccordement à la terre doivent être branchés à une prise de
courant avec une connexion à la terre.
24. L’appareil doit être placé dans une position où une fiche/ prise d’alimentation secteur
puisse être facilement retiré à la main.
25. La fiche secteur est utilisée comme dispositif de mise hors tension. Elle doit rester
facilement accessible et ne doit pas être bloquée pendant l’utilisation. Pour déconnecter
complètement l’appareil de l’alimentation secteur, l’appareil doit être déconnecté de la
prise secteur murale.

1. NOTICE IMPORTANTE
Cet appareil, quand il est installé conformément aux instructions de ce mode
d’emploi, satisfait aux exigences FCC et ICES-003. Tout changement ou modification
non expressément approuvés par Fostex pour conformité peut annuler l’autorité de
l’utilisateur d’utiliser l’appareil. NE MODIFIEZ PAS CE PRODUIT.
2. IMPORTANT
Afin de se conformer aux exigences FCC et ICES-003, utilisez des câbles blindés de haute
qualité pour le raccordement à des accessoires et/ou à d’autres produits. Si des câbles
sont fournis avec l’autre produit, ils DOIVENT être utilisés. Suivez toutes les instructions
d’installation. Sinon, cela pourrait annuler votre autorisation FCC / ICES-003 pour utiliser
ce produit aux États-Unis/Canada.
3. REMARQUE
Cet équipement a été testé et a été trouvé conforme avec les limites des appareils
numériques de classe B, conformément à l’article 15 du règlement FCC. Ces limites sont
conçues pour offrir une protection raisonnable contre les interférences nuisibles d’une
installation résidentielle. Cet équipement génère, utilise et peut émettre de l’énergie
radiofréquence et, s’il n’est pas installé conformément aux instructions, il peut causer des
interférences nuisibles aux communications radio.

• Il possède une conception à économie d’énergie avec un amplicateur numérique et une alimentation commutable.
• L’indicateur à 26 points DEL prend en charge 4 modes diérents d’achage. VU, VU+PEAK, VU+PEAK HOLD, PEAK+PEAK HOLD.
• L’achage possède 4 réglages de luminosité.
• L’appareil est conçu pour émettre l’un ou l’autre des signaux numériques à deux canaux à partir des signaux du réseau Dante.

Dante® est un protocole pour réseau-audio développé par Audinate.

L’appareil mémoriser automatiquement l’état du commutateur en moins
de trois secondes.

Ceci indique un état de demande de redémarrage.
Lorsque le module Dante de cet appareil a été mis à niveau à l’aide du

tension puis sous tension pour appliquer le nouveau micrologiciel.
Du fait que le redémarrage ne peut pas être commandé à partir du
contrôleur Dante, il est nécessaire de mettre manuellement l’appareil
hors tension, puis sous tension pour appliquer le nouveau micrologiciel.

Einleitung
Der RM-3DT ist ein Aktivmonitor zum Rack-Einbau, der mit einer Dante-Funktion ausgestattet ist und Dante-Netzwerksignale sowie analoge
Audiosignale überwacht.
 WARNUNGEN und VORSICHTSMASSREGELN
• VORSICHT: Das Symbol Um die Gefahr elektrischer Schläge zu vermeiden, schließen Sie
die Netzversorgung nicht an, während die Boxenbespannung abgenommen ist.
• WARNUNG: Ein Gerät mit Aufbau nach KLASSE I muss an eine Netzsteckdose mit
Schutzerdung angeschlossen werden.
• VORSICHT: ZUR VERMEIDUNG VON STROMSCHLÄGEN DEN BREITEN STIFT DES STECKERS IN
DEN BREITEN SCHLITZ STECKEN UND VOLLSTÄNDIG EINFÜHREN.
• WARNUNG: Um die Gefahr von Bränden oder elektrischen Schlägen zu vermeiden, dieses
Gerät nicht Regen oder Feuchtigkeit aussetzen.
• VORSICHT: Die Verwendung der Bedienungs- und Einstellelemente zu anderen Zwecken
als den hier beschriebenen oder die Missachtung der Bedienungsanweisung kann zur
Freisetzung gefährlicher Strahlung führen.
• WARNUNG: Durch Eingriffe und Änderungen an dieser Einheit, die nicht ausdrücklich vom
Hersteller autorisiert wurden, kann die Betriebserlaubnis für dieses Gerät erlöschen.
• WARNUNG: Stellen Sie diese Einheit nicht auf weichen, porösen oder empfindlichen
Oberfläche auf, um Beschädigungen der Oberfläche zu vermeiden. Verwenden Sie eine
Schutzbarriere zwischen der Einheit und der Oberfläche, um die Oberfläche zu schützen.
• WARNUNG: Verwendung dieser Einheit in der Nähe von Leuchtstofflampen kann
Störungen bei Verwendung der Fernbedienung verursachen. Wenn die Einheit unerwartetes

Das Blitzsymbol in einem gleichseitigen Dreieck weist auf das Vorhandensein
von nicht isolierten Teilen mit„gefährlicher Spannung“ innerhalb des Gehäuses
hin, die bei unvorsichtigen Eingriffen zu elektrischen Schlägen führen können.
Das Ausrufezeichen in einem gleichseitigen Dreieck soll den Anwender darauf
hinweisen, dass wichtige Betriebs- und Wartungs- (Service-) Anweisungen in der
dem Gerät beiliegenden Dokumentation vorhanden sind.
 SICHERHEITSINSTRUKTIONEN
1. Anweisungen lesen - Alle Sicherheits- und Bedienungsanweisungen müssen vor der
Inbetriebnahme des Geräts durchgelesen werden.
2. Anweisungen aufbewahren - Die Sicherheits- und Bedienungsanweisungen müssen zum
Nachschlagen aufbewahrt werden.
3. Warnungen beachten - Alle Warnungen am Gerät oder in der Bedienungsanleitung
müssen befolgt werden.
4. Anweisungen befolgen - Alle Anweisungen für die Bedienung und die Verwendung
müssen befolgt werden.
5. Wasser und Feuchtigkeit - Das Gerät darf nicht in der Nähe von Wasser verwendet
werden - zum Beispiel in der Nähe von Badewannen, Waschbecken, Küchenspülen oder
Waschzubern; in einem feuchten Keller; oder in der Nähe eines Swimmingpools; o.ä.
6. Wagen und Ständer - Das Gerät darf nur gemäß Empfehlung des
Herstellers auf einem Wagen oder Ständer verwendet werden.
Eine Kombination aus Gerät und Wagen darf nur mit größter Vorsicht
bewegt werden. Abruptes Anhalten, zu große Kraft und unebene
Oberflächen können Umkippen der Kombination aus Gerät und Wagen
verwendet werden.
7. Wand-oder Deckenmontage - Das Gerät darf nur gemäß Empfehlung des Herstellers an
einer Wand oder an der Decke angebracht werden.
8. Lüftung - Das Gerät muss so aufgestellt werden, dass für gute Lüftung um das Gerät
gesorgt ist. Zum Beispiel darf das Gerät nicht auf einem Bett, Sofa, Teppich oder einer
ähnlichen Unterlage aufgestellt werden, da dabei die Lüftungsöffnungen blockiert
werden können. Es darf auch nicht in einem geschlossenen Platz wie einem Bücherregal
oder Schrank aufgestellt werden, da dabei ein ausreichender Luftstrom durch die
Lüftungsöffnungen nicht gewährleistet ist.
9. Hitze - Das Gerät darf nicht in der Nähe von Hitzequellen wie z. B. Heizkörpern,
Heizlüftern, Öfen oder anderen Geräten (einschließlich Verstärkern) aufgestellt werden,
die Hitze erzeugen.
10. Stromquellen - Das Gerät darf nur an Stromquellen geeigneten Typs angeschlossen
werden, wie in der Bedienungsanleitung beschrieben oder auf dem Gerät angegeben.
11. Erdung oder Polung - Es müssen Vorsichtsmaßnahmen getroffen werden, um
sicherzustellen dass die Erdung und Polung am Gerät richtig ist.
12. Netzkabelschutz - Netzkabel müssen so verlegt werden, dass man nicht versehentlich
darauf treten oder diese durch darauf gestellte Gegenstände oder zwischen
Gegenständen eingeklemmt werden können, wobei besonders auf die Bereiche in der
Nähe von Steckern, Stromverteilern und den Kabelaustritten am Gerät geachtet werden
muss.
13. Reinigung - Das Gerät darf nur gemäß Empfehlung des Herstellers gereinigt werden.
14. Längere Nichtverwendung - Der Netzstecker muss abgezogen werden, wenn das Gerät
für längere Zeit nicht benutzt wird.
15. Eindringen von Fremdkörpern und Flüssigkeiten - Stellen Sie sicher, dass keine
Fremdkörper oder Flüssigkeiten durch die Öffnungen in das Gehäuse eindringen.
16. Schäden, die Reparatur erfordern - Das Gerät muss von einem qualifizierten
Kundendienst gewartet werden, wenn:
A. Das Netzkabel oder der Stecker beschädigt ist; oder
B. Gegenstände oder Flüssigkeiten in das Gerät eingedrungen sind; oder
C. Das Produkt Regen oder Wasser ausgesetzt wurde;
D. Das Gerät nicht normal zu arbeiten scheint oder große Leistungsschwankungen
aufweist; oder
E. Das Produkt fallengelassen oder auf irgendeine Weise beschädigt wurde.
17. Wartung - Der Anwender darf nicht versuchen, andere Wartungsarbeiten am Gerät
auszuführen als in der Bedienungsanleitung beschrieben.
Alle anderen Wartungsarbeiten müssen qualifiziertem Kundendienstpersonal überlassen
werden.
18. Das Gerät muss so aufgestellt werden, dass es vor Wassertropfen oder Wasserspritzern
geschützt ist.
19. Es dürfen keine mit Flüssigkeiten gefüllten Gegenstände, z.B. Vasen, auf dem Gerät
abgestellt werden.
20. Das Gerät ist nicht vollständig von der Stromversorgung getrennt, auch wenn der
Betriebsschalter auf Aus steht.
21. Das Gerät darf nicht Flüssigkeitstropfen oder -spritzern ausgesetzt werden, und es dürfen
keine mit Flüssigkeit gefüllten Objekte, z.B. Vasen, auf das Gerät gestellt werden.
22. Verwenden Sie ausschließlich Zusatzgeräte/Zubehör des entsprechenden Herstellers.
23. Geräte mit einem Schutzerde-Kontakt müssen an eine Netzsteckdose mit Schutzerdung
angeschlossen werden.
24. Das Gerät muss so aufgestellt werden, dass sich der Netzstecker leicht abziehen lässt.
25. Der Netzstecker dient zum Unterbrechen der Stromversorgung. Er muss jederzeit
erreichbar sein und soll bei der geplanten Verwendung des Geräts nicht durch
Gegenstände verdeckt sein. Um das Gerät vollständig von der Netzversorgung zu
trennen, muss der Netzstecker von der Steckdose abgezogen werden.
 FCC (U.S.A.) & ICES-003 (Kanada) INFORMATION
1. WICHTIGER HINWEIS
Dieses Produkt erfüllt, wenn es ordnungsgemäß entsprechend den Angaben in diesem
Handbuch aufgestellt ist, die Anforderungen der FCC und ICES-003. Durch Eingriffe
und Änderungen, die nicht ausdrücklich vom Unternehmen Fostex autorisiert wurden,
kann die Betriebserlaubnis für dieses Gerät erlöschen. DIESES PRODUKT DARF NICHT
MODIFIZIERT VERWENDEN.
2. WICHTIG
Um die Anforderungen der FCC und ICES-003 zu erfüllen, müssen qualitativ hochwertige
abgeschirmte Kabel zum Anschluss von Zubehörteilen und/oder anderen Produkten
verwendet werden. Falls Kabel mit diesem Produkt mitgeliefert wurden, MÜSSEN diese
verwendet werden. Befolgen Sie alle Anweisungen zur Aufstellung. Wenn das nicht
geschieht, kann Ihre Autorisierung zur Verwendung dieses Produkts in den USA/Kanada
entsprechend FCC / ICES-003 hinfällig werden.
3. HINWEIS
Dieses Gerät wurde geprüft und hält die Grenzwerte für digitale Geräte der
Klasse B gemäß Teil 15 der FCC-Vorschriften ein. Diese Grenzwerte definieren
einen angemessenen Schutz vor schädlichen elektromagnetischen Strahlungen
und Störeinflüssen in Wohngebieten. Dieses Gerät erzeugt und verwendet
Hochfrequenzenergien und kann diese ausstrahlen. Wenn das Gerät nicht entsprechend
den Anleitungen des Benutzerhandbuchs installiert und verwendet wird, können
Störungen von Funkverbindungen verursacht werden.
Es kann jedoch nicht garantiert werden, dass bei einer bestimmten Installation keine
Störungen auftreten. Falls dieses Gerät Störungen des Rundfunk- oder Fernsehempfangs
verursacht, was durch Ein- und Ausschalten des Geräts festgestellt werden kann, sollte
der Anwender die Störungen mit einer oder mehreren der folgenden Maßnahmen
beseitigen:

4. Erfüllung von Teil 15 der US-amerikanischen FCC-Vorschriften und kanadischen ICES-003.
Dieses Gerät befindet sich in Übereinstimmung mit Teil 15 der US-amerikanischen
FCC-Vorschriften. Der Betrieb unterliegt den folgenden beiden Bedingungen: (1)
Dieses Gerät darf keine schädlichen Störungen verursachen, und (2) dieses Gerät
muss alle empfangenen Störungen akzeptieren, einschließlich Störungen, die einen
unerwünschten Betrieb verursachen.
Dieses Digitalgerät der Klasse B stimmt mit der kanadischen Norm ICES-003 überein. Cet
appareil numérique de la classe B est conforme à la norme NMB-003 du Canada.

• Die 26-Punkt-LED-Anzeige unterstützt 4 verschiedene Anzeigemodi: VU, VU+PEAK, VU+PEAK HOLD, PEAK+PEAK HOLD.
• Das Display hat 4 Helligkeitseinstellungen.
• Das Gerät ist so ausgelegt, dass es entweder eines der beiden oder beide der zweikanaligen Digitalsignale von Dante-Netzwerksignalen ausgibt.
