SAFETY INFORMATION
Before the initial start-up, read the instruction manual carefully and keep it in a
safe place.
INTENDED USE
The gas grill must only be operated outside.
General dangers
• Danger to children and persons with reduced ability to operate
devices. This device is not intended for use by children and persons
with reduced ability to operate devices. It must only be operated by
persons capable of operating devices safely.
• CAUTION: Accessible parts can be very hot. Keep away from children.
• Do not make any modifications to the device.
UNPACKING THE DEVICE
Danger to children. Danger to life through suffocation/swallowing. Keep the packa-
ging material out of reach of children. Immediately dispose of the material. Store
small parts out of reach of children.
INSTALLING THE GAS SYSTEM
Risk of fire and explosion
• This gas grill must only be operated with a pressurestat. The pressurestat atta-
ched is correctly factory-set for use with liquid gas.
• If necessary, the gas hose must be replaced to match national requirements.
• Make sure that there is no ignition source, open fire or the like near when repla-
cing the gas cylinder.
• Before buying or renting gas cylinders, seek advice from an authorized specialist

8
dealer.
• The device must be installed as described in this instruction manual. Make sure
to protect the hose from kinking or rubbing.
• Carry out the leak test procedure as described in this instruction manual (see
“Connecting the gas cylinder”) before starting up the grill for the first time.
Always carry out a leak test.
GENERAL SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
Risk of fire and explosion
• During operation, the device must
be kept away from combustible
material.
• Do not smoke while handling the gas
system. Do not put down the gas
cylinder near open fire.
• Do not move the device during
operation.
• Only use the gas grill outdoors.
Ensure that the gas grill is sheltered
from the wind.
• Keep the grill away from moisture,
splashing water, etc. and keep com-
bustible materials out of reach.
• Set up the gas grill on a flat, robust
and fireproof surface.
• Protect the gas cylinder from direct
sun.
• Before operation, always check the
hose and pressurestat for cracks and
damages. Do not operate the gas
grill, if the pressurestat, hose or gas
cylinder is defective or leaking.
• Before operation, always check the
burners for dirt and remove it before
putting the grill into operation.
• Do not light the gas flame with a
naked flame. Only use the electric
igniter of the device for ignition.
• To prevent unintentional leakage of
gas, only have the valve of the gas
cylinder open when you operate the
gas grill. Immediately close the valve
when you turn off the grill.
• Ensure that the device’s vent holes
are never covered.
• The grill’s surfaces get very hot
during operation. Warn surrounding
people and keep children away from
the grill.
• Always wear protective gloves when
operating the grill and handling hot
parts.
• Never leave the running gas grill
unsupervised.
• In the case of malfunction or when

9
gas is leaking, immediately close the
valve of the gas cylinder.
• Before setting up the grill in a new
location, always turn it off, close the
valve of the gas cylinder and remove
the gas cylinder from the base of the
grill to protect the pressurestat and
the hose line.
• After use, stop the gas supply at the
gas cylinder.
• When igniting the burners, the lid
must always be open.
MAINTENANCE OF THE GAS GRILL
Risk of fire and explosion
• Repairs and maintenance works to the gas system may only be performed by
authorized specialists. Do not make any changes to the gas grill or the pressu-
restat.
• Replace the pressurestat and the hose after 10 years at the latest – even if there
is no external damage detectable. Ensure that the pressurestat is approved for
the gas used and set to the correct outlet pressure (see technical data). A new
hose must not be longer than 1,5 meters.
FIRE-FIGHTING MEASURES
• Get surrounding people to safety! If possible, close the valve of the gas cylinder.
Cool down the gas cylinder with water. While doing so, make sure you are safe.
A spontaneous, explosive re-ignition is possible.
• In the case of fire, remove all compressed-gas containers from the fire-endan-
gered area. Should this not be possible, protect the compressed-gas containers
from becoming too hot through spraying with water or other suitable liquids.
FIRST AID MEASURES
Measures after inhalation of gas
• High concentrations may lead to suffocation. Possible symptoms are loss of mo-
bility and loss of consciousness. The person affected does not notice suffocation.
Low concentrations can lead to dizziness, headache, nausea and coordination

10
disorders.
• Get the person affected into fresh air. Call a doctor or the ambulance. In case of
breathing arrest, provide artificial respiration.
Measures after severe burns or scaldings
• There is an acute risk of hypothermia for the affected person. Call the emergen-
cy services immediately!
• In cases where clothes catch fire, extinguish flames immediately with water or a
heavy blanket.
• In case of burns: leave clothing on.
• In case of scalding: Remove clothing immediately.
• Cool down the affected parts of the body with cold water for at least 15 minutes
until the pain eases.
• Cover the affected area with a sterile Metalline burn dressing. Place the side of
the dressing with the Metalline (aluminium) coating onto the injured skin and fix
it in place by lightly affixing a gauze or triangular bandage.
• Do not resort to using “home remedies” of any kind, i.e. ointments, powders,
oils, disinfections etc.!
Measures after mild burns or scalding
• In case of burns: only remove clothing if it is not stuck to the skin.
• In case of scaldinf: remove clothing immediately.
• Apply cold water to the affected area of the body for at least 15 minutes, until
the pain eases.
• In cases where there is no blistering of the skin, allow smaller burns or scalding
injuries to heal in the open air. Do not cover them with a plaster or bandage.
TRANSPORTATION INSTRUCTIONS
Risk of fire and explosion
• Wherever possible avoid transporting the gas cylinder in vehicles where the lug-
gage compartment and driver’s cab are not separated. The driver must be aware
of the potential risks and know what to do in case of an accident or emergency.

11
• Transport the gas cylinder upright and in way that it is protected against falling
or shifting.
• Ensure that the valve of the gas cylinder is closed and sealed.
STORAGE INSTRUCTIONS
Risk of fire and explosion
• Store the gas cylinder out of reach of children.
• Keep the gas cylinder away from oxidizing gases and other substances that may
cause combustion.
• Exhausting liquid gas weighs more than air and sinks to the floor. Do not store
the gas cylinder in your house, below ground level (e.g. basement, underground
garage) or at unventilated places exhausting gas could gather at.
• Protect the gas cylinder from direct sun and other heat sources. Store the gas
cylinder at temperatures below 50 °C in a well-ventilated, shaded location pro-
tected against the weather.
• Store the gas cylinder upright and protected against falling over.
• The storing instructions applies to empty gas cylinders as well. These still contain
residual liquid gas.
