TRANSMITTER FS-7039 RECEIVER FS-3039

Freestream App Installation
Easily download the Freestream app within the App Store or Google
Play.
System Requirements:
iPad A7 and above iOS 8.0 and above Android 7.0 and above
Battery Charge
The lithium battery 14500 model and the charging stand are not
included in the package, and are available for purchase at www.
freestream.live. We recommend using fully charged batteries before
first use.
Technical Notes:
1. The nominal voltage of a lithium battery 14500 is 3.7V and the
maximum capacity is 800mAh. Some of the 14500 batteries in the
market exaggerate the actual battery capacity, so please choose
carefully.
2. The lithium battery needs to be paired together, mixing new
batteries in use with used batteries will shorten the use life of new
batteries.
Battery Installation
Pinch the paddle on the side of your transmitter and receiver to open
the battery compartment and remove the battery tray. Insert two
3.7V 14500 800mAh lithium-ion batteries and slide the tray back
in. Standard AA will not work. Make sure you put in your batteries
according to the diagram.
Antenna Installation
FREESTREAM comes with 4 antennas. When assembling the product,
screw the antennas to the antenna connectors on the top of the
transmitter and receiver.
Note: Make sure the transmitter and receiver antennas are fully
vertical when using the product to ensure the highest transmission
performance of the wireless signal.
Transmitter HDMI Cable Installation
Use the screw lock HDMI cable supplied to connect the transmitter to
a Gopro Hero 5 or any camera with a HDMI output interface.
Paddle

Connect the transmitter to Gopro5:
1. Remove the side cover of the Gopro Hero 5, and install the side
cover with screw hole which is provided with this product.
Remove the side cover:
1. Pinch latch release button, then open
the side cover by sliding away.
2. Pull the cover from the camera.
2. The side cover with screw hole will be fixed after placing the Gopro
Hero 5 into its frame.
3. Insert the Micro-HDMI male connector with screw lock into the
Micro-HDMI female base of Gopro Hero 5, then put the HDMI screw
into the screw hole of the side cover and tighten it.
4. Insert the Micro-HDMI male connector with screw lock into the
Micro-HDMI female base of FREESTREAM transmitter, then put the
HDMI screw into the screw hole of side cover and tighten it.

Receiver HDMI Cable Installation
Use the Mini-standard HDMI cable provided with this product, one end
is Mini-HDMI male and the other end is a standard HDMI male, and
connect the FREESTREAM receiver to a TV or external monitor with a
standard HDMI video input interface.
Note: The receiver cannot be connected to a laptop via HDMI cable
because a laptop has a HDMI video output interface, it cannot
supports video input.
WIFI Connection of Transmitter and Receiver
1. Press the [power key] on both the transmitter and receiver for more
than 1 second, respectively, the power logo will appear on the product
screen. At the same time, the red light on the top of the device
will turn on. Note: the transmitter system start-up time is about 20
seconds, and the receiver system start-up time is about 30 seconds.
2. After the system startup, the red light at the top of the transmitter
and receiver will turn o. A blue light will begin to flash slowly as the
transmitter and receiver perform WIFI connection.
3. After WIFI connection is synced, the blue light at the top of the
transmitter and receiver will stay on.
Note:
1. The transmitter and receiver WIFI connection will not be connected
when there is a signal interference source around the product. Press
the channel switch key on the receiver to avoid signal interference
sources if the blue light at the top of the product is still in a flashing
status for a long time. This product supports CH1, CH2, CH3, CH4
frequency channels cyclic switch.
2. The transmitter cannot switch the frequency channel, the channel
switching operation can only be performed by the receiver.
Camera On and Transmitter Output Video
Take the Gopro Hero 5 as an example. Press the [mode] key on the left
side of the camera. The camera will beep several times, and the camera
status indicator will flash continuously. Once the back of the touch
screen or the front status screen display content, it means the camera
is on. The camera will transmit the audio and video to the connected
transmitter via the HDMI cable.
The Receiver Output Video to Monitor
After the WIFI connection of the transmitter and receiver successfully
pair, the receiver will decode the video stream from the transmitter in
real time and output to the connected TV or monitor through the HDMI
cable.
Note: When viewing video via a TV or a monitor, the receiver will
re-connect with the transmitter if you press the [channel switch] key
on receiver. The TV or monitor screen will freeze or go blank, and the
image will restore after about 40 seconds, please be patient.
View Video Stream via iPhone or iPad
1. When receiver starts and system starts up, ie. the blue indicator light
on top of receiver begins to blink slowly, you can discover WIFI signal
- 15 strings with FREESTREAM prefix-from the receiver within the WIFI
Settings of your iPhone or iPad, and the default password is 12345678.
2. Upon entering the correct WiFi password, and iPhone or iPad will
connect to the receiver. Launch the Freestream App and watch your
video stream from the receiver in realtime.
Note: Alter the video transmission settings via Freestream App
to adjust your image quality and transmitter rate based o your
transmission distance and number of viewers.

Live Stream and Broadcast Via iPhone or
iPad
Freestream allows you broadcast the audio & video stream from the
transmitter via the 4G network of iPhone or iPad (WiFi+ Cellular) to
Youtube, Facebook and other online live platforms in real time. Set up
your live stream via Freestream App.
Note:
1. If your iPad does not support a cellular SIM card, streaming feature
support by a 4G network will not be available.
2. Your iPhone or iPad screen will mandatorily stay on in the process of
live broadcast.
3. If you close Freestream App in the process of live broadcast, the live
broadcast will stop.
Lithium Battery Low Power Warning
When the Lithium batteries run low, the red indicator light on to of the
device will blink to warn of low power, and the device screen will show
the battery level as one grid. Take the Lithium battery and charge it.
Note:
1. The kit does not support Lithium battery charging directly via Mini-
USB interface.
2. If you use 2 fully-charged 14500 batteries (3.7V, 800mAh), the
duration of the transmitter will be 90 minutes, and receiver will be 80
minutes. After repeated charge and discharge, the batteries eciency
will reduce and shorten the duration of batteries.
Restore Default Wi-Fi Password
The Wi-Fi password of the receiver can be customized via the
Freestream App. If you forget the password, you can follow the
following steps to restore the Wi-Fi password to the default value as
12345678.
1. Press and hold the Reel Key on the right side of the receiver for
more than 3 seconds, restarting the receiver automatically. When the
red light on the top of the receiver is o and the blue light on the top
of the receiver flashes slowly, press and hold the Pairing Key on both
the receiver and the transmitter for more than 3 seconds separately.
The blue lights on the top of the transmitter and the receiver will flash
rapidly which indicates that the transmitter and the receiver are in the
pairing status; the Wi-Fi will also be reconnected, and this process
lasts about 10 seconds.
2. When the blue lights on the top of the transmitter and the receiver
stop flashing, it is indicating that the transmitter and receiver have
completed the pairing process and implemented the Wi-Fi connection,
and the Wi-Fi password of the receiver has been restored to the
default value as 12345678.
3. Find the receiver SSID which is the 15 bit character string with
FREESTREAM_ as the prefix through the “Wi-Fi” item in the “Setting”
page of your iPhone/iPad. When prompted, enter the default
password to reconnect the receiver.
Note: If the blue lights on the top of the transmitter and the receiver
are still flashing rapidly for a long time, it is indicating that the pairing
process is not successful. Press and hold the Power Button on both the
transmitter and the receiver for more than one second to shut down
separately, and then reboot. When the red lights on the top of the
transmitter and receiver are o and the blue lights start to flash slowly,
press and hold the Pairing Key of the receiver and the transmitter
again for 3 seconds separately, and then repeat the above process.

Transmitter Supports External Audio
When the audio jack on the right side of the transmitter is connected
to an external microphone, the output of the receiver will be the sound
of the microphone.
About the Pairing of Transmitter and
Receiver
The transmitter and receiver will be required to be paired in the
following two cases:
Case 1: When the receiver needs to be restored the default WiFi
password, it needs to be re-paired with the transmitter (for the
detailed operation instruction, please see above).
Case 2: The transmitter and receiver have been paired with each other
when they are out of the factory, however, the transmitter and the
receiver need to be re-paired if either is replaced in the case of loss or
damage.
Note: In addition to the above two cases, do not press and hold the
Paring Key on the transmitter under normal use of the product, since
it will cause the Wi-Fi to reconnect between the transmitter and the
receiver.
USB interface for Power Supply
For extended use, you can use the aliated two core USB power cable
to connect the outside portable battery or the aliated 5V 2A power
adapter in the package.
Note:
1. The aliated USB power cable in the package can only be used for
power supply, and it can not used for data transmitting.
2. Use the aliated USB power cable and aliated 5V 2A power
adapter in the package for power supply. Any issue caused by other
power supplies is not within the scope of warranty.
