1. PLATZ AUSWÄHLEN
Bei der Platzauswahl müssen Sie darauf achten,
dass der Swing Seat genügend Freiraum zu
Wänden und umstehenden Gegenständen hat.
Links und rechts empfehlen wir einen Abstand von min-
destens 70 cm. Der Abstand vor und hinter dem Swing
Seat hängt von Ihrem Schaukelverhalten ab, sollte aber
100 cm nicht unterschreiten.
2. HAKEN ANBRINGEN
Da die Decke das ganze Gewicht des Swing Seats und des
Benutzers tragen muss, muss diese ausreichend stabil
und so ausgelegt sein, dass die/der Aufhängungsha-
ken fest verankert werden können/kann. Zur Sicherheit
lassen Sie die Haken von einem Fachmann montieren. Bei
unsachgerechter Montage wird keine Haftung für Schä-
den übernommen.
3. AN DIE RAUMHÖHE ANPASSEN
Da die Raumhöhen in jedem Haus anders sind, kann die
Höhe des Swing Seats über die Gliederketten eingestellt
werden. Die Gliederketten können optional zu Ihren
Raumhöhen bestellt werden. Diese Ketten sind immer
etwas länger, als für Ihre Raumhöhe nötig. Dadurch kann
die Sitzhöhe an den jeweiligen Benutzer angepasst
werden. Einfach die perfekte Sitzhöhe durch Ausprobie-
ren ermitteln, wobei wir mit einer Sitzhöhe von 50 cm für
einen mittelgroßen Menschen die besten Erfahrungen
gemacht haben.
4. LOSSCHAUKELN
Überprüfen Sie vor dem ersten Schaukeln
noch mal die Aufhängung und stellen Sie sicher,
dass genügend Platz in allen Richtungen ist.
1 - CHOOSING AN APPROPRIATE PLACE
When choosing where to hang your Swing Seat, check that
the seat is far enough away from walls and surrounding
objects: we recommend keeping at least 70 cm clear to
the left and the right; the amount of space in front of and
behind the chair depends partly on how far you want to
swing, but we’d recommend opting for at least 100 cm
either way.
2 - MOUNTING THE HOOK
The ceiling and the hooks on which you intend to hang the
seat need to be able to bear the weight both of the Swing
Seat and of the person using it. For this reason, the ceiling
must be stable and provide a structure in which the hook
can be properly installed. We would therefore recom-
mend using professional help to set up the Swing Seat.
Make sure you receive assurances that the hooks/ceiling
mounts can handle the weight – and the swinging motion.
In case of improper installation
no liability for demages is assumed.
3 - ADJUSTING TO ROOM HEIGHT
In view of the differences in room heights in various buil-
dings, we provide chains with each Leya Swing Seat which
can be adjusted to set the height at which the seat is
suspended. The chain is somewhat longer than necessary,
to make sure that you can always adapt the seat to your
needs. There is no perfect seated height, but we have
found that 50 cm clear of the floor is a comfortable height
for people of average size; the best thing to do, though,
is to work out which height is best for you by simply trying
out various positions.
4 - SWINGING
Before you start swinging, go carefully through the pre-
vious points: does the swing have enough room around
it? Is the hook installed properly so that it can stand up to
hearty swinging movements?

SICHERHEITSHINWEISE
Die Aufhängung muss geradlinig verlaufen – nicht ver-
drehen oder verknoten! Beachten Sie die maximale Be-
lastbarkeit von 110 kg
(getestet nach DIN EN 16139 L1).
Zum Aufhängen des Swing Seat verwenden
Sie bitte nur Aufhängeelemente, die dafür vor-
gesehen sind. Die Aufhängevorrichtung muss fachmän-
nisch installiert sein und in regelmäßigen Abständen auf
Verschleiß überprüft und gegebenenfalls ersetzt wer-
den. Starke Belastungen wirken sich vermindernd auf
die Lebensdauer der Seile aus.
Stoffe und Seile erfahren Abnutzung und können
brüchig werden. Starke farbliche Veränderungen können
darauf hinweisen. Kontrollieren Sie daher Ihr Produkt vor
Gebrauch auf seine Belastbarkeit und benutzen es nicht,
sobald die volle Belastbarkeit nicht mehr gewährleistet
ist. Lassen Sie Kinder nie unbeaufsichtigt.
Achten Sie darauf, dass der Swing Seat nicht
als Turngerät oder Klettergerüst missbraucht
wird, die Angaben eingehalten und auch allen weiteren
Nutzern bekannt gegeben werden. Während der Benut-
zung dürfen sich keine Personen unter dem Swing Seat
aufhalten. Bei Missachtung besteht akute Verletzungs-
gefahr, für die keine Haftung übernommen wird.
Bis zum nächsten Hindernis muss ein Mindestabstand von
70 cm eingehalten werden, bei Installation mit
Ein-Punkt-Aufhängung 100 cm.
Bei Beschädigungen nicht weiter benutzen. Beschädigte
Teile bitte entsorgen und austauschen.
SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
Do not turn, twist, or knot any part of the Swing Seat
equipment when hanging it up. Remember not to exceed
a load of 110 kg (tested and proofed to DIN EN 16139 L1).
Only use the parts which have been supplied when
hanging up your Leya Swing Seat. The hooks on which
the swing is mounted must be professionally installed
and should be checked regularly for wear and tear. They
must be replaced if necessary. Overloading the swing will
shorten the service life of the cables.
Fabrics and ropes deteriorate with use and may become
brittle. Noticeable changes in colour may be a visible
sign of wear and tear. Remember to test the product’s
load-bearing capacity before use and do not continue
using it once this capacity is no longer guaranteed. Never
leave children in the swing unsupervised.
Please make sure that the swing is not misused as gym-
nastic equipment or for climbing, that the
instructions and diagrams given are adhered to and are
made clear to all other users of the Leya Swing Seat.
When it is in use, the space below the seat must be kept
clear; if people or children are under the seat while it is in
use, this represents a risk of serious injury for which we
cannot be held liable.
For reasons of safety, there should be a minimum clear
space of 70 cm between the seat and nearby objects to
the left and the right and 100 cm in front of and behind
the seat.
Do not continue to use if damaged. Dispose of damaged
parts and replace them.
