Read all instructions before using this appliance.
Save these instructions for future reference.
This guide contains important safety symbols and instructions. Please pay special attention to these symbols and follow all
instructions given. Here is a brief explanation of the use of these symbols.
_This symbol will help alert you to situations that _ This symbol will help alert you to situations that

*Remove all tape and packaging wrap before using the wall
oven. Destroy the carton and plastic bags after unpacking the
wall oven. Never allow children to play with packaging
material. Do not remove the wiring label and other
literature attached to the back of the wall oven. Do not
remove model/serial number plate.
*Proper Installation--Be sure your appliance is properly installed
and grounded by a qualified electrician or installer in accordance
with the National Electrical Code ANSI/NFPA No. 70 (U.S.A.)
or CSA C22.1, PART 1 (Canada)--Iatest editions and local
code requirements. Install only per installation instructions
provided in the literature package for this wall oven.
Ask your dealer to recommend a qualified installer,
technician or an authorized repair service. Know how to
disconnect the electrical power to the wall oven at the
circuit breaker or fuse box in case of an emergency.
_Cold temperatures can damage the electronic
control. After installing, wait at least three hours before
turning on the power to the appliance to prevent possible
damage to the electronic control.
*User Servicing--Do not repair or replace any part of the
appliance unless specifically recommended in the manuals.
All other servicing should be done only by a qualified
technician. This may reduce the risk of personal injury and
damage to the wall oven.
*Never modify or alter the construction of the wall oven
by removing panels, wire covers, or any other part of the
product.
*Remove the oven door from any unused wall oven if it is to be
stored or discarded.
_ Stepping, leaning or sitting on the doors or
drawer of this wall oven can result in serious injuries and may also
cause damage to the wall oven. Do not allow children to climb
or play around the wall oven.
*Storage in or on Appliance--Flammable materials should not be
stored in an oven, or in the storage drawer (if equipped). This
includes paper, plastic and cloth items, such as cookbooks,
plasticware and towels, as well as flammable liquids. Do
not store explosives, such as aerosol cans, in or near the
wall oven.
[__1_ Do not store items of interest to children in the
cabinets above a wall oven. Children climbing on the wall
oven to reach items could be seriously injured.
*Do not leavechildren alone--Children should not be left alone
or unattended in the area where an appliance is in use. They
should never be allowed to sit or stand on any part of the
appliance.
*DO NOT TOUCH INTERIOR OVEN ELEMENTS OR INTERIOR
SURFACESOF THE WALL OVEN UNTIL THEY HAVE COOLED.
The oven heating elements may be hot even though the
elements are dark in color. Areas near the elements may
become hot enough to cause burns. During and after use,
do not touch, or let clothing or other flammable materials
touch these areas until they have had sufficient time to
cool. Among these areas are the oven vent openings, the
surfaces near these openings, oven door and window.
*Wear Proper Apparel--Loose-fitting or hanging garments
should never be worn while using the appliance. Do not
let clothing or other flammable materials contact hot
surfaces.
_ Never useyour appliance for warming or heating
the room.
*Do Not Use Water or Flour on Grease Fires--Smother the fire
with a pan lid, or use baking soda, a dry chemical or foam-type
extinguisher.
*When heating fat or grease, watch it closely. Fat or grease
may catch fire if allowed to become too hot.
*Use Only Dry Potholders--Moist or damp potholders on hot
surfaces may result in burns from steam. Do not let the
potholders touch the hot heating elements. Do not use a
towel or other bulky cloth instead of a potholder.
*Do Not Heat Unopened Food Containers--Build-up of pressure
may cause the container to burst and result in injury.

USING YOUR OVEN
*Use Care When Opening an Oven Door--Stand to the side
of the wall oven when opening the door of a hot oven.
Let hot air or steam escape before you remove or replace
food in the oven.
_Do not use the wall oven for storage.

o Keep Oven Vent Ducts Unobstructed. The wall oven is
vented at the upper control panel trim. Touching the
surfaces in this area when the wall oven is operating may
cause severe burns. Also, do not place plastic or heat-
sensitive items near the oven vent. These items could
melt or ignite.
Placement of Oven Racks. Always place oven racks in
desired location while oven is cool. If the rack must
be moved while the oven is hot, use extreme caution.
Use potholders and grasp the rack with both hands to
reposition. Do not let potholders contact the hot oven
element or interior of the oven. Remove all utensils from
the rack before removing the rack.
Do not use the broiler pan without its insert. The broiler pan
and grid allow dripping fat to drain and be kept away
from the high heat of the broiler.
Do not cover the broiler grid or oven bottom with aluminum
foil. Exposed fat and grease could ignite.
Do not touch a hot oven light bulb with a damp cloth. Doing
so could cause the bulb to break. Disconnect the oven
or shut off the power to the oven before removing and
replacing the bulb.
IMPORTANT INSTRUCTIONS FOR
CLEANING YOUR OVEN
Clean the wall oven regularly to keep all parts free of grease
that could catch fire. Do not allow grease to accumulate.
Kitchen cleaners/aerosols--Always follow the manufacturer's
recommended directions for use. Be aware that excess residue
from cleaners and aerosols may ignite causing damage and/or
injury.
SELF=CLEANING OVENS:
Clean in the self-cleaning cycle only the parts of the wall oven
listed in this Owner's Guide. Before using the self-cleaning
cycle of the wall oven, remove the broiler pan and any
utensils stored in the wall oven.
Do not clean the oven door gasket. The door gasket is
essential for a good seal. Care should be taken not to
rub, damage or move the gasket.
Do not use oven cleaners. No oven cleaner or oven liner
protective coating of any kind should be used in or
around any part of the wall oven.

Oven Controls
(feature information)
For a Silent Control Panel
When choosing a function, a beep
will sound each time a pad is pushed.
If desired, the controls can be
programmed for a silent operation.
To program, push and hold the
STOP TIME pad for approximately
5 seconds. The control will beep
twice. This will block the timer from
sounding when a pad is pushed.
To return the sound, push and
hold the STOP TIME pad again for
approximately 5 seconds until one
beep isheard.
The push pad control panel provides precise control of all oven functions plus a
lighted display window. Forsatisfactory useof your oven, become familiar with the
various functions of the oven as described below, the location of the push pads
and controls, and the instructions in the following sections. The control locations
and names are explained as they appear below from the left to the right. READ
THE INSTRUCTIONSBELOWCAREFULLYBEFOREUSINGTHE OVEN.
Time Controls
BAKE TIME pad--Used to enter the length of the baking time.
STOP TIME pad--Used with the BAKE TIME and CLEAN pads to program an
automatic baking or self-clean cycle stop time.
CLOCK pad--Used to set the time of day.
TIMER ON/OFF pad--Used to set or cancel the minute timer. The minute timer
does not start or stop cooking. It servesas an extra timer in the kitchen that will
beep when the set time has run out.
Safety Lockout
Safety Lockout can be accessed by
simultaneously pressing the BAKE
TiME and STOP TiME buttons.
Pressing the button sequence changes
the mode between ON and OFR
During the OFFmode, depressing any
button results in the word "OFF" being
displayed for 2 seconds.
While in Safety Lockout, the display will
show the current time of day.
Oven Controls
CONV BAKE/ROAST pad--Used to enter the convection temperature.
BAKE pad--Used to enter the baking temperature.
BROIL pad--Used to select the broil function and broiling aloneness level.
CLEAN pad--Used to select the self-cleaning function.
CANCEL pad--Used to cancel any function previously entered except the time of
day and minute timer. Pushthe CANCEL pad to stop cooking or at the end of any
cooking function to clear the display.
Set pads--(increase A, decreaseV ). Used along with the function pads to select
oven temperature, cooking time, stop time (when programming an automatic stop
time), time of day, clean time and minute timer.
Oven Light
OVEN LIGHT pad--Use the oven light pad on the control panel to turn the oven
light on and off when the door is closed.
The oven can be programmed to:
*Bake conventionally
*Time bake with automatic on and off times.
*Convection bake
*Time Bake using convection
*Broil
*Self-Clean

Setting the Clock
and Minute Timer
To Set the Clock
You must set the clock when the oven is first plugged in or each time the power
supply to the oven has been disconnected or interrupted. The clock must always be
set to the correct time of day, asthe automatic start and stop time operations (used
to set the timed bake and self-clean modes) work directly with the clock.
1. The display window will flash "12:00." The oven control may lock and then
unlock the oven door. The word "Lock" will glow in the display. The locking
and unlocking of the door takes about one minute. This isanormal part of the
initial start-up and does not mean that the oven will begin a self-clean cycle.
2. Push the CLOCK pad. The display window will stop flashing and the word
"Time" will glow in the display for a few seconds.
3. Push the Increase (A) or Decrease (V) pad until the correct time of day
appears in the display.
Tochange the time, follow instructions 2 & 3 above.
To Set the Minute Timer
The minute timer does not start or stop cooking. It servesas an extra timer in the
kitchen that will beep when the set time has run out. The minute timer can be used
independently during any of the oven functions and can be set for any amount
of time from 1 second to 9 hours and 50 minutes. The minute timer is not active
during the self-clean function.
1. Push the TIMER ON/OFF pad. ":00" and the word "Timer" will glow in the
display.
2. Pushthe Increase ( A ) or Decrease ( V ) pad until the desired time appears
in the display. As soon asthe set padsare released,the time will begin to count
down in the display and the word "Timer" will continue to glow.
3. When the set time has run out, the timer will beep 3times. The timer will then
continue to beep once every 10 seconds for 5 minutes or until the TIMER ON/
OFF pad is pushed.
When setting the minute timer for: The time will appear in the display
and increase in:
5 seconds to 2 minutes 5 second increments
2 minutes to 10 minutes 10 second increments
10 minutes to 1 hour 1 minute increments
1 hour to 9 hours and 50 minutes 5 minute increments
Tochange the minute timer while it is in use, push the Increase (A)or Decrease
( _' )pad to increase or decrease the time.
To stop the minute timer, push the TIMER ON/OFF pad. The word "Timer" will
disappear from the display a few seconds later. Or, push the Decrease ( V )pad
until "00" appears in the display.

Before Setting Oven
Controls Oven Vent Location
The oven isvented at the upper control panel grille. When the oven ison, warm
air isreleased through the vent. This venting isnecessary for proper air circulation
in the oven and good baking results. DO NOT block the vent. Doing so may cause
cooking failures, fire or damage to the wall oven.
Arranging Oven Racks
ALWAYSARRANGEOVENRACKSWHEN THEOVENISCOOL(PRIORTOOPERATING
THE OVEN). Always use oven mitts when using the oven.
To remove an oven rack, pull the
rack forward until it stops. Lift up front
of rack and slide out. To replace an
oven rack, fit the rackontothe guides
on the oven walls. Tilt the front of the
rack upward and slide the rack back
into place.

To bake on one rack, place the
rack at position 3 or 4. To bake
on two racks, place the racks at
positions 1 and 3.
The interior of a convection oven isshown in the above illustrations. As many as3
racks may be supplied with convection models and 2 racks for other models.

Setting Oven Controls To Bake
The oven can be programmed to bake at any temperature from 135°F/57°C to
550°F/288°C. Preheatingthe oven isrecommended when baking, but isnot necessary
when roasting or cooking casseroles.Follow the recommendations in the recipe.
1. Arrange oven racks while the oven is still cool.
2. Push the BAKE pad. '.... and the word "Bake" will glow in the
display.
3. Push the Increase ( A ) or Decrease ( Y ) pad until the desired baking
temperature appears in the display. When setting the baking temperature, the
temperature will start in at 325%/163°C and increase or decrease in increments
of 5°F/2.5°C.
As soon as the bake temperature isset, the oven will begin heating to the selected
temperature. The display will show the temperature and the words "Bake" and
"On" will appear in the display. Preheating the oven takes 10-12 minutes. When the
displayed temperature reachesthe desired baking temperature, the oven isready for
baking. Only "Bake" is displayed. The word "On" will appear in the display when
the bake element ison.
4. When cooking isfinished, push the CANCEL pad.
To change the baking temperature after baking has begun, repeat steps 2 & 3
above.
To cancel the baking function, push the CANCEL pad.
To Set the Automatic Timer (timed bake feature)
The BAKE TIME and STOP TIME pads control the timed bake operation. The
automatic timer will turn the oven on and off at the times you select in advance.
The oven can be programmed to start immediately and turn off automatically; or
to start at a delayed time and turn off automatically.
To Start the Oven Now and Stop Automatically
1. Besure the clock is set to the correct time of clay,asthis controls the automatic
timing.
2. Arrange oven racks while the oven is still cool, and place the food in the
oven.
3. Pushthe BAKE TIME pad. " " and the words "Bake Time" will glow
in the display.
4. Pushthe Increase ( A ) or Decrease (_') pad until the desired baking time
appears in the display. The baking time can be set for any amount of time from
5 minutes to 11 hours and 50 minutes in 5 minute increments.
5. Pushthe BAKE pad. '.... will flash and the word "Bake" will glow in
the display.
6. Push the Increase ( A ) or Decrease ( Y ) pad until the desired baking
temperature appears in the display. When setting the baking temperature, the
temperature will start in at 325°F/163°C and increase or decrease in 5°F/2.5°C
increments. If the baking temperature is not set, the control will beep once.
,,_ o,, will flash, and the words "Bake" will appear in the display.
As soon as the controls are set, the oven will come on and begin heating to the
selected baking temperature. Thewords "Bake" and "On" will appear inthe display.
The main display will show the oven baking time and will count clown by minutes
until it reaches "00." When the set baketime runs out, the control will beep 3 times.
"00" will appear in the display window. The control will then continue to beep once
every 10 seconds for 5 minutes or until the CANCEL pad is pushed.
Note: To cancel the timer setting during the cycle, push the Decrease (_!,) pad
until "00" appears in the display window.

the automatic timer. Use the automatic
timer to cook cured or frozen meats
and most fruits and vegetables. Foods
that can easily spoil, such as milk, eggs,
fish, meat or poultry should be chilled in
the refrigerator first. Evenwhen chilled,
they should not stand in the oven for
more than 2 hours before cooking be-
gins, and should be removed promptly
when cooking iscompleted.
I Note: Baking can be stopped at anytime
by pushing the CANCEL pad.
Air circulation during convection
cooking.
To Set the Oven for a Delayed Starting Time and an Automatic Turn-Off
To set the controls for this type of operation, follow steps 1-6 on previous page
and then steps 7-8 below:
7. Pushthe STOP TIME pad. " " and the words "Bake Stop Time"
will glow in the display. There must be at least a half-hour difference from the
start time to the stop time for the automatic control to work.
8. Push the Increase (A) or Decrease (V) pad until the time that you want
cooking to be completed appears in the display.After a few seconds, the Stop
Time will again be shown in the display. If the baking temperature is not set,
the control will beep once. '.... will flash, and the word "Bake" will
glow in the display. The control will calculate backward from the set stop time
to determine when cooking should begin. The words "Delay, .... Bake," "Stop
Time," and "Bake TempSet" will glow in the display. Tocheck the baking time,
push the BAKE TIME pad.
The oven will come on automatically at the calculated time. At that time, the words
"Delay," "Bake," and "Stop Time" will go out and "Bake Time" and "On" will
appear. When the set bake time runs out, the control will beep 3 times. "00" will
appear in the display window. The control will then continue to beep once every
10 seconds for 5 minutes or until the CANCEL pad is pushed.
To Convection Bake
Due to better heat distribution inside the oven, lower temperatures can be used
when using the convection mode. This temperature adjustment is automatically
made by the electronic oven control. When using the convection mode, the ac-
tual oven temperature will be 25%/12°C lower than the displayed temperature.
This allows you to useyour existing recipes without having to manually adjust the
temperature down.
Remember to use tested recipes with times adjusted for convection baking when
using the convection mode. Times may be reduced by as much as 30% when
using the convection feature. Additional information on convection baking and
convection recipes can be found in the Cooking Guide.
The oven can be programmed to bake in the convection mode at any temperature
from 135°F/57°C to 550°F/288°C. Preheating the oven for 10-12 minutes is
recommended when using convection, but is not necessary when roasting or
cooking casseroles. Follow the recommendations in the recipe.

desiredconvection temperature, the oven isreadyfor baking; only "Bake" isdisplayed.
The word "On" will appear in the display when the bake element ison.
4. When cooking is finished, push the CANCEL pad.
To change the convection temperature after baking has begun, repeat steps 2 &
3 above.
Tocancel the convection function, push the CANCEL pad.
To Set the Automatic Timer (convection bake feature)
The BAKETIME and STOPTIME pads control the timed convection operation. The
automatic timer will turn the oven on and off at the times you select in advance.
The oven can be programmed to start immediately and turn off automatically; or
to start at a delayed time and turn off automatically.

To Broil

Preheating
Preheatingis suggestedwhen searingrare steaks.Removethe broiler pan and grid before

elementtobecomeredhot,usuallyabout2-3minutes.Preheatingisnotnecessarywhenbroiling
meatswell done.
Broiling
1. Removebroilerpanandgrid.
2. Placethegrid on the broilerpan(if it hasbeendisassembled),andthenthe meaton the
coolbroilergrid.Besurethe grid isin placewith theslotsdownsogreasewill draininto
thepan.DO NOT usethe broilerpanwithout the grid or coverthegrid with aluminum
foil.Theexposedfat couldignite.
3. Selectthedesiredrackpositionandslidethebroilerpanintoplace.Forraremeats,position

Oven Light
(some models)
_Be sure the oven is un-
plugged and all parts are COOL before
replacing the oven light bulb.
The oven light automatically turns on when the door isopened (some models). To
turn the oven light on and off when the door is closed, use the OVEN LIGHTpad
located on the control panel.
Changing the Oven Light Bulb
The oven light bulb is located at the rear of the oven. To replace, follow these
instructions:
1. Turn electrical power off at the main source or unplug the oven. BESUREALL
PARTSARECOOL BEFOREREMOVING BULB.
2. Wear a leather-faced glove for protection against possible broken glass.
3. Presswire holder to one side to release the glass shield.
4. Replace bulb with a new 40 watt appliance bulb.
5. Replace glass shield in socket and snap wire holder into place.
6. Turn power back on again at the main source (or plug the oven back in).
7. The clock (if equipped) will then need to be reset. Follow instructions under
Setting the Clock and Minute Timer
Adjusting Oven
Temperature
The temperature in the oven has been set at the factory. When first using the
oven, be sure to follow recipe times and temperatures. If you think the oven is
too hot or too cool, the temperature can be adjusted. Before adjusting the oven
temperature, test a recipe by using a temperature set higher or lower than the
recommended temperature. The baking results should help you to decide how
much of an adjustment is needed.
ToAdjust the Oven Temperature:
1. Pushthe BAKE pad.
2. Set the temperature to 550°F/288°C by pushing the Increase ( A ) pad.
3. Within 2 seconds, push and hold the BAKE pad for approximately 5 seconds
until the special 2 digit display appears. Releasethe BAKE pad.
Thedisplay now indicates the difference in degrees between the original factory
temperature setting and the current temperature setting. If the oven control
has the original factory calibration, the display will read "00."
4. The temperature can now be adjusted up or down 35°F/17°C, in 5°F/2.5°C
increments, by pushing the Increase ( A ) or Decrease ( Y ) pad. Adjust the
Increase/Decrease pads until the desired amount of offset appears in the dis-
play. A minus sign (-) will appear before the number to indicate the oven will
be cooler by the displayed amount of degrees.
5. When you have made the desired adjustment, push the CANCEL pad to go
back to the time of day display.

Self-Cleaning Ovens--A General Description
A self-cleaning oven cleans itself with high temperatures (well above cooking
temperatures) which eliminate soil completely or reduce it to a fine powdered ash
you can whisk away with a damp cloth.
Preparing the Oven for Self-Cleaning
1. Removeany excessspillovers in the oven cavity before starting the self-cleaning
cycle. To clean, use hot soapy water and a cloth. Large spillovers can cause
heavy smoke or fire when subjected to high temperatures. DO NOT allow
food spills with a high sugar or acid content (such as tomatoes, sauerkraut,
fruit juices or pie filling) to remain on the surface asthey may cause a dull spot
even after cleaning.
2. Clean any soil from the oven frame, the outside edge of the oven around the
oven seal, and the area under the door bottom. These areas heat sufficiently
during a self-clean cycle to burn soil on. Clean with soap and water.
3. Remove the broiler pan and insert, all utensils and any foil. These items do not
withstand high cleaning temperatures.
4. Oven racks may be left in the oven or may be removed. If they go through
the clean cycle, their color will turn slightly dull. After the cycle is completed
and the oven has cooled, rub the sides of the rackswith wax paper or a cloth
containing a small amount of baby oil or salad oil. This will make the racks
glide easier on the rack supports.

What to Expect During Cleaning
While the oven isin operation, the oven heats to temperatures much higher than
those used in normal cooking. Sounds of metal expansion and contraction are
normal. Odor is also normal asthe food soil isbeing removed. Smoke may appear
through the oven vent, located on the top of the control panel.
If heavy spillovers are not wiped up before cleaning, they may flame and cause
more smoke and odor than usual. This is normal and safe and should not cause
alarm. If available, use an exhaust fan during the self-cleaning cycle.
Note: A smoke eliminator in the oven vent converts most of the soil into acolorless

To Begin Cleaning Immediately and Stop Automatically
To assure satisfactory results, we recommend a 2 hour self-clean cycle for light
soils, a 3 hour cycle for average soils, and a 4 hour cycle for heavy soils.
1. Make sure the clock issetto the correct time of clayasthe self-clean opera-
tion works directly with the clock.
2. Close the oven door.
3. Push the CLEAN pad. " " will appear in place of the time of clay
display. The words "CLN Time" will appear in the display.
4. Pushthe Increase (A) or Decrease(T) pad. Set the cleaning time based
on the amount of soil you have. When setting the cleaning time, the time
will increase or decrease in 5 minute increments.
As soon as the controls are set, the motor driven lock will begin to close and the
cleaning cycle will begin. It takes about 15 seconds for the door to completely
lock and the words "Clean Locked" and "On" to appear in the display. The door
cannot be opened after the oven temperature reaches 560% (293°C). Pushthe
CANCEL pad before opening the door. The door cannot be opened unless the
oven temperature is below 560% (293°C). See "Stopping or Interrupting a Self-
Clean Cycle," page 14.
To Start at a Later Time and Stop Automatically
1. Follow steps 1 & 4 above.
2. Push the STOPTIME pad. The time of day and cleaning time will appear in
the display window. The words "CLN Time" wil glow in the display.
3. Pushthe Increase( A ) or Decrease (V) pad until the time that you want
cleaning to be completed appears in the display.
4. The control will calculate backward from the set stop time to determine
when the cleaning cycle should begin. The words "Delay" and "Delay Clean
Locked" will glow in the display. To recall the time that the oven will come
on, push and hold the CLEAN pad for 3 seconds, the calculated start time
will appear in the display for a few seconds.
The clean cycle will come on automatically at the calculated time. At that time,
the words "Delay" and "Stop" will out and "On" will appear.
The oven will continue to heat until it reaches a very high temperature. Soil and
spillovers wil burn off of the oven surfaces. Do not try to open the oven door
without cancelling the cleaning cycle. When the set cleaning time has elapsed,
the oven must cool for about 1 hour or until the interior temperature hasdropped
below 560°F(293°C). The word "Locked" will remain in the display until the oven
cools below 560°F(293°C). Only then can the door be opened.
Stopping or Interrupting the Self-Cleaning Cycle at Any Time
If you need to stop or interrupt the self-cleancycle due to excessivesmoke or fire:
1. Pushthe CANCEL pad.
2. Open windows and doors to rid the room of smoke.
3. If the word "Locked" remains in the display,the oven istoo hot to open the
door. When the oven cools below 560°F(293°C), the word "Lock" will go out.
The oven door can now be opened. If the self-clean cyclewas interrupted due
to smoke, correct the condition and start the self-clean operation again.
4. When cycleiscompleted, apowderyash will befound wherevertherewas heavy
soil. Wipe up any residue with a damp cloth after the oven hascooled.
If the oven was not satisfactorily cleaned, the cleaning time was not long enough.
Resetthe controls and repeat the self-cleaning cycle.
It is normal for some soil to remain at the bottom front and corners of the oven.
This remaining soil isdifficult to remove because it was exposed to high heat. To
remove, scrub with a new soap-filled steel wool pad. Rubbing with a pastemade
of water and a mild cleanser may also be helpful in removing this soil.

How to Clean
Use hot, soapy water and a cloth. Dry with a clean cloth. DO NOT scour or use all-
purpose cleaners, ammonia, powdered cleansers or commercial oven cleaner. They can
scratch and discolor aluminum.
For general cleaning, use hot soapy water and a cloth. For more difficult soils and
built-up grease, apply a liquid detergent directly onto the soil. Leave on soil for 30 to
60 minutes. Rinsewith a damp cloth and dry. DO NOT use abrasive cleaners, spray
cleaners or scouring pads on any of these materials. These cleaners can permanently
damage the control pad surface.
Gentle scouring with a soapy scouring pad will remove most spots. Rinsewith equal
amounts of ammonia and water. If necessary,cover difficult spots with an ammonia-
soaked paper towel for 30 to 40 minutes. Rinsewith clean water and a damp cloth,
and then scrub with a soap-filled scouring pad. Rinseand wipe dry with a clean cloth.
Remove all cleaners or the porcelain may become damaged during future heating.
Cover stubborn spots with an ammonia-soaked paper towel for 30 to 40 minutes.
Rinse with dean water and a cloth. Cleaners made especially for stainless steel, chrome
or copper are also recommended. Rinseall cleaners before operating the wall oven.
Bluish stains may result (due to heat combining with the cleaning material), and cannot
be removed.
Oven racks may be removed or left in the oven during the self-clean cycle for cleaning.
If removed, clean by using a mild, abrasive cleaner following manufacturer's instruc-
tions. Rinsewith clean water and dry.
If the racks are cleaned by running them through the self-dean cycle, their color will
turn slightly blue and the finish will be dull. After the self-clean cycle is completed and
the oven has cooled, rub the sides of the racks with wax paper or a cloth containing a
small amount of baby oil or salad oil. This will make the racks glide easier.
Toclean oven door, wash with hot, soapy water and a clean cloth. DO NOT immerse
the door in water. To remove oven door, see instructions on page 16.
Care should be taken not to damage or remove the oven door seal.
Lightly spray the control panel with a liquid cleaner. Wipe with a soft cloth or paper
towel. DO NOT use abrasive cleaners or scouring pads. These can permanently damage
the control panel surface.

To Remove and Replace Oven Door
1. Open the door to the fully opened position.
2. Pull up the lock located on each hinge support and engage it in the hook of
the hinge lever.You may have to apply a little downward pressure on the door
to pull the locks fully over the hooks.
3. Grasp the door by the sides, pull the bottom of the door up and toward you
to disengage the hinge supports.
4. Keep pulling the bottom of the door toward you while rotating the top of the
door toward the range to completely disengage the hinge levers.
5. To reinstall the oven door, reverse steps 1 through 4. Make sure the hinge
supports are fully engaged before unlocking the hinge levers.

Avoid Service Checklist Before you call for service, review this list. It may save you time and expense. The
list includes common occurrences that are not the result of defective workman-
ship or materials in this appliance.
This oven is equipped with an electronic oven controller. Among its many features
is a full time oven circuit diagnostics system. The controller constantly monitors
its internal circuitry as well as several crucial oven circuits, to insure they are all
operating correctly. If at any time one of these systems fail, the controller will
immediately shut down operation, and will beep and flash an error code of -F1-
through -F10- in the display window.
OCCURRENCE POSSIBLE CAUSE/SOLUTION
Oven Control Beeps and Displays
-F1- through -F10-, Electronic control has detected a fault condition. Pushthe CANCEL pad to clear the display and stop the display from beeping. Reprogram the oven. If a fault
reoccurs, record the fault number, pushthe CANCEL pad and contact an authorized
servicer.
Oven is not level. Poor installation. Placea levelon an oven rack in center of oven. Contact installing
agent if rack isnot level; unit may be shimmed underneath.
Kitchen cabinet misalignment may make oven appear to be unlevel. Besurecabinets
are square and level. Contact cabinet maker to correct problem.
Entire appliance does not operate, Make sure electrical cable is securely connected and grounded into electrical
circuit.
Service wiring not complete. Contact your dealer, installing agent or authorized
servicer.
Power outage. Check house lights to be sure. Contact your local electric
company.
Short in electrical cable. Contact your dealer, installing agent or authorized
servicer.
Electronic controls are not set properly. See instructions under Setting Oven
Controls or Oven Cleaning.
House fuse has blown or circuit breaker has tripped immediately following
installation. House fuse may not be fully engaged. Check fuse or engage circuit
breaker securely.
Housefuse hasblown or circuit breaker hastripped after the oven hasbeen installed
and previously operating. Call an authorized servicer.
