• Avoid contact with any moving parts of automatic ice

• Remove all staples from the carton. Staples can cause
severe cuts, and also destroy finishes if they come in
contactwithother appliances or furniture.
CHILD SAFETY
Destroyorrecyclethecarton,plasticbags,andanyexterior
wrapping material immediately after the refrigerator is
unpacked.Children should NEVER use these items to play
with.Cartonscoveredwith rugs, bedspreads, plastic sheets
or stretch wrap may become airtight chambers, and can
quickly cause suffocation.

Before you throw away your old refrigerator/ freezer:
• Removedoors.
• Leaveshelvesinplacesochildrenmaynoteasilyclimb
inside.
• Haverefrigerantremovedby a qualified service
technician.
ELECTRICAL INFORMATION
•The refrigerator must be plugged into its own
dedicated 115 Volt, 60 Hz., AC only electric outlet.
The power cord of the appliance is equipped with a
three-pronggroundingplug for your protection against
electrical shock hazards. It must be plugged directly
intoa properly groundedthree-prongreceptacle.The
receptacle must be installed in accordance with local
codesandordinances.Consultaqualifiedelectrician.
Do not use an extension cord or adapter plug.
• Ifthepowercordisdamaged,itshouldbereplacedbythe
manufacturer,servicetechnicianora qualifiedpersonto
prevent any risk.
• Neverunplugtherefrigeratorbypullingonthepower
cord.Always grip the plug firmly, and pull straight out
fromthereceptacleto preventdamagingthepowercord.
• Unplugtherefrigerator before cleaning andbefore
replacing a light bulb to avoid electrical shock.
• Performance may be affected if the voltage varies by
10%ormore. Operating the refrigerator with insufficient
powercandamagethecompressor. Such damageis
notcoveredunderyourwarranty.
• Do not plug the unit into an outlet controlled by a wall
switchorpullcordtopreventtherefrigeratorfrombeing
turned off accidentally.
• AvoidconnectingrefrigeratortoaGroundFaultInterruptor
(GFI)circuit.
IMPORTANT: Pressing the On/Off button on the
controlpanel(atthetopofthefreshfoodcompartment)
disables your refrigerator’s cooling system but does
not disconnect power to lights and other electrical
components.Toturnoffpowertoyour refrigerator you
must unplug the power cord from the wall outlet.
