Product Overview
1.1.
General Description
T e VCB-5001LN-W is a WIFI data collector module w ic can collect data from ot er
devices via RS485 serial port and t en send out data via WIFI or Et ernet. T is device is
built in Realtek RT8195AM w ic is a ig ly integrated single-c ip low power 802.11n
Wireless LAN network controller. T e RTL8195AM combines an ARM-Cortex M3 MCU,
WLAN MAC, a 1T1R capable WLAN baseband, and RF in a single c ip. It provides useful
ig speed connectivity interfaces, suc as USB2.0 ost, USB2.0 device, SDIO device, and
MII/RMII interfaces. It also provides a bunc of configurable GPIOs w ic are configured
as digital perip erals for different applications and control usage.

Federal Communication Commission nterference Statement
T is device complies wit Part 15 of t e FCC Rules. Operation is subject to t e following two conditions:
(1) T is device may not cause armful interference, and (2) t is device must accept any interference
received, including interference t at may cause undesired operation.
T is equipment as been tested and found to comply wit t e limits for a Class B digital device,

FCC Caution: Any c anges or modifications not expressly approved by t e party responsible for
compliance could void t e user's aut ority to operate t is equipment.
T is transmitter must not be co-located or operating in conjunction wit any ot er antenna or
transmitter.
Radiation Exposure Statement:
T is equipment complies wit FCC radiation exposure limits set fort for an uncontrolled environment.
T is equipment s ould be installed and operated wit minimum distance 20cm between t e radiator &
your body.
This device is intended only for OEM integrators under the following conditions:
1) T e antenna must be installed suc t at 20 cm is maintained between t e antenna and
users, and
2) T e transmitter module may not be co-located wit any ot er transmitter or antenna.
As long as 2 conditions above are met, furt er transmitter test will not be required. However,
t e OEM integrator is still responsible for testing t eir end-product for any additional
compliance requirements required wit t is module installed
MPORTANT NOTE: In t e event t at t ese conditions can not be met (for example certain
laptop configurations or co-location wit anot er transmitter), t en t
e FCC aut orization is no
longer considered valid and t e FCC ID can not be used on t e final product. In t ese circumstances,
t e OEM integrator will be responsible for re-evaluating t e end product (including t e transmitter)
and obtaining a separate FCC aut orization.

End Product Labeling
T is transmitter module is aut orized only for use in device w ere t e antenna may be installed suc
t at 20 cm may be maintained between t e antenna and users. T e final end product must be labeled
in a visible area wit t e following: “Contains FCC ID: PD5-VCB5001LNW ”. T e grantee's FCC ID can be
used only w en all FCC compliance requirements are met.
Manual nformation To the End User
T e OEM integrator as to be aware not to provide information to t e end user regarding ow to
install or remove t is RF module in t e user’s manual of t e end product w ic integrates t is module.
T e end user manual s all include all required regulatory information/warning as s ow in t is manual
