V1040 LifeBook notebook provides all the computing power
you will ever need, even for the most demanding business
applications.
The Fujitsu V1040 LifeBook comes standard with a dual-layer,
Multi-format DVD writer. Dual-layer DVD-R technology lets you
record up to 8.5 GB of data on a single disc. This nearly doubles
the standard DVD capacity of 4.7 GB. In other words, a dual-
layer DVD-R will hold up to 4 hours of DVD quality video or 16
hours of VHS quality video. Dual-layer discs can also be read on
DVD players that were originally designed for single-layer discs.
Of course you can listen to your CDs and write to CD-Rs as well.
