PRIMA DI AVVENTURARVI NEL MONDO DI DORY
PREMESSA
Questo manuale contiene tutte le informazioni necessarie per un corretto utilizzo ed
un'efficace manutenzione di D RY; deve accompagnare sempre il prodotto. A Voi è
affidata la sua corretta conservazione. La costante ricerca di miglioramento e di
aggiornamento della nostra produzione può rendere opportuno effettuare modifiche o
variazioni di taluni prodotti, pertanto non vanno considerate strettamente vincolanti
illustrazioni ed indicazioni del presente manuale.
Per accessori o prodotti nuovi legati al mondo di D RY e non presenti in questo manuale
d’uso fare riferimento alle istruzioni allegate al prodotto.
AVVERTENZE D'USO
Per permettere al bambino di svolgere, in completa sicurezza, le diverse attività offerte
da D RY è importante che tutte le regolazioni posturali siano effettuate da personale
competente.
I seguenti prodotti, progettati secondo lo stato dell’arte, sono stati verificati e resi
conformi alla Direttiva 93/42 CEE per le parti applicabili.
Nonostante questo occorre tenere sempre presente che un uso non attento o la
sottovalutazione dei pericoli possono essere causa di infortuni o danni.
Fumagalli declina ogni responsabilità per incidenti derivanti dalla non osservanza delle
norme di montaggio e di utilizzo di seguito riportate.
In caso di compravendita di D RY usati si declina ogni responsabilità su eventuali
modifiche, riparazioni o sostituzioni non autorizzate o effettuate da personale non
autorizzato; qualora mancasse il manuale d'uso contattare il vostro rivenditore o

DESTINAZIONE D’USO
Il presente prodotto è stato concepito per bambini che necessitano di un sistema di
seduta con supporti regolabili per le attività scolastiche o ricreative.

MANUTENZIONE
L’apparecchio non necessita di uno specifico programma di manutenzione; consigliamo,
per una buona durata, una revisione annuale di tutte le sue parti meccaniche mobili
(giunti, snodi, ruote, freni, ecc.).
Per la pulizia utilizzare un panno con detergenti liquidi in soluzione acquosa. Evitare
assolutamente l'uso di solventi e diluenti a base nitrocellulosica o poliuretanica.

REGOLAZIONE IN ALTEZZA DELLA SEDUTA
La seduta può essere regolata in altezza; allentare i volantini posti sui tubi verticali,
afferrare la seduta e, premendo contemporaneamente il tasto di sicurezza in basso,
alzare o abbassare la seduta. All’altezza desiderata serrare nuovamente i volantini.
ATTENZI NE: a regolazione ultimata verificare che i volantini siano inseriti
perfettamente nei fori di bloccaggio; qualora si veda del filetto sporgere la
regolazione deve essere ricontrollata. Per facilitare l’operazione è stato creato un
foro di riscontro sotto al volantino destro per facilitare l’allineamento dei fori.
REGOLAZIONE DEI BRACCIOLI
I braccioli possono essere regolati in altezza allentando i due volantini posteriori; alzare o
abbassare i braccioli. Raggiunta l’altezza desiderata serrarli nuovamente.
UTILIZZO DELLE SPINTE BACINO
Le spinte bacino possono essere montate su entrambe le misure semplicemente
fissandole lateralmente con le viti in dotazione e sotto la seduta con la vite autofilettante
in dotazione (nella misura 2 utilizzare i due distanziali neri in dotazione).
La regolazione in larghezza avviene con il bambino seduto utilizzando i volantini posti
nelle parte posteriore.

PROLUNGA SCHIENALE/POGGIA TESTA (A)
Per utilizzare la prolunga schienale è necessario fissare la
plancia in plastica in dotazione. Trovare i fori posizionati
sotto il tessuto dello schienale e praticare i due fori con
un punta. Fissare la plancia con le viti in dotazione.
Inserire la prolunga nella sede della plancia e fissare con
l’apposito volantino.
UTILIZZO DELLE PELOTTE TORACALI (B)
Le pelotte toracali devono essere fissate nella parte
posteriore dello schienale.
Sullo schienale sono presenti dei fori a cui poter applicare
il supporto delle pelotte. Individuare quello all’altezza più
opportuna, forare il tessuto con una punta e montare il
supporto tramite le viti in dotazione.
Far scorrere le pelotte nel supporto e fissarle alla
larghezza desiderata.

UTILIZZO DEL DIVARICATORE
il divaricatore deve essere fissato nel supporto posizionato sotto la seduta. Regolarlo alla
profondità desiderata tramite la vite in dotazione.
UTILIZZO DELLE CINTURE DI CONTENIMENTO
Le cinture di contenimento del bacino possono essere fissate tramite l’asola posizionata
tra seduta e schienale. Le cinghie delle cinture a 4 punti e delle bretelle possono essere
fissate direttamente sotto la seduta o dietro lo schienale tramite le fibbie a sportello in
dotazione con le cinture; fissarle nella posizione più idonea tramite le viti autofilettanti in
dotazione.
UTILIZZO DELLA PEDANA POGGIA PIEDI
La pedana poggia piedi deve essere inserita nella sede quadra posizionata sotto la
seduta. Fissarla con l’apposito volantino. E’ possibile regolarne l’altezza seguendo il
meccanismo di scorrimento e l’inclinazione del piano poggia piedi tramite le due viti
posizionate sotto il poggia piedi stesso.
UTILIZZO DEL TAVOLINO
Il tavolino deve essere inserito nella guida posizionata sotto al bracciolo e fissato nella
posizione desiderata. E’ possibile ribaltarlo lateralmente se non viene utilizzato.

UTILIZZO DEL TAVOLO
Il tavolo separato può essere regolato in altezza tramite i due volantini posti ai lati.
Allentarli, premere il tasto di sgancio posto nella parte inferiore e portare il tavolo alla
posizione desiderata. Serrare nuovamente i volantini in modo che trovino la giusta
posizione.
ATTENZI NE: a regolazione ultimata verificare che i volantini siano inseriti
perfettamente nei fori di bloccaggio; qualora si veda del filetto sporgere la
regolazione deve essere ricontrollata. Per facilitare l’operazione è stato creato un
foro di riscontro sotto al volantino destro per facilitare l’allineamento dei fori.
RUOTE
La seduta può essere dotata di 4 ruote dotate di freno. Per montarle è sufficiente inserirle
nell’apposita sede posta sotto la seduta. Togliere le viti senza testa con una chiave
esagonale da 4 mm e avvitare la ruota nella stessa sede tramite una chiave fissa da 13
mm.

BEFORE ENTERING THE WORLD OF DORY
INTRODUCTION
This manual contains all the necessary information for the correct use and maintenance
of D RY; it must always accompany the product. The proper storage is entrusted to you.
The permanent research for improving and updating our production may lead to
changes or necessary modifications on some products, therefore the illustrations and
indications in this manual should not be considered as strictly binding to new accessories
or products linked to D RY.
For accessories or new products related to the world of D RY and not present in this
using manual, please refer to the instructions supplied with each product.
USING INSTRUCTIONS
In order to allow the child to perform the different activities offered by D RY in complete
safety, is important that every postural adjustments are carried out by qualified
personnel.
The following products, projected according to the state of art, have been tested and
brought into conformity with the Directive 93/42 EEC for the applicable parts.
Despite this it is necessary to keep in mind that an incorrect use or an underestimation of
hazards can cause injuries or damages.
Fumagalli declines any responsibility for accidents deriving from assembly and use
standards failure mentioned here below.
In case of purchase of a used D RY, we decline any responsibility for any modification,
repair or substitution not performed by qualified and authorized personnel; If ever the
using manual is missing, you can contact your dealer or directly Fumagalli S.r.l.
We kindly ask you to check that the contents inside the box will not be damaged due to
the transport. If any part is damaged, please contact your Fumagalli dealer as soon as
possible.
DESTINATION OF USE
This product was designed for children needing a seating system with adjustable
supports for school and leisure activities.
Any other use is considered inappropriate
MAINTENANCE
This product does not require a specific maintenance program; we recommend, for a
long durability, a yearly revision of all its mechanical moving parts (joints, hinges, wheels,
brakes, etc.).
Clean with a soft cloth and liquid detergent in aqueous solution. Avoid using solvents and
thinners based on nitrocellulose or polyurethane.

HEIGHT ADJUSTMENT OF THE SEATING
The seat can be adjusted in height; release the tightening part placed on the vertical
tubes, hold the seat and, pressing the safety button simultaneously, move the seat
upwards or downwards. Tighten the tightening part at the desired height.
CAUTI N: when adjustments are finished, verify that all tightening parts are well
inserted in the locking holes; if you see the thread protruding, the adjustment
must be rechecked. To ease the operation, a reporting hole was created under the
right hand side of the tightening part, in order to facilitate the alignment of the
holes.
ARMEREST ADJUSTMENT
Armrests can be adjusted in height by releasing both rear tightening parts; move the
armrests upwards and downwards until the desired position will be met. Then close the
tightening parts again.
USE OF HIP SUPPORTS.
Hip supports can be mounted on both sizes just by fixing them on the sides with the
supplied screws and under the seat with the supplied self-tapping-screws (for size 2 use
both included black spacers).
The adjustment in width must be done with the child on the seat by using the tightening
part on the rear part.

BACK/ HEADREST EXTENSION (A)
For the back extension is necessary to fix the supplied
plastic plate. Look for the holes under the backrest cover
and make two holes by using a pointed device. Fix the
plate with the supplied screws. Introduce the extension
in the site of the plate and tighten.
USE OF SIDE SUPPORTS (B)
Side supports must be fixed on the rear part of the
backrest.
The holes where to fix the side support are on the
backrest. Identify the most suitable one, pierce the fabric
with a point and mount the bracket using the supplied
screws.
Slide the supports on the rod and fix them at the desired
width.

USE OF ABDUCTOR
The abductor must be fixed to the holder under the seat.
Adjusted it in the desired depth using the supplied screws.
USE OF THE CONTAINMENT BELTS
The hip containment belts can be fixed by the slot between the seat and the backrest.
The straps of the 4 point belts and braces can be directly fixed under the seat or behind
the backrest by the plastic buckles supplied together with the belts; fix it in the more
suitable position with the supplied self-tapping-screws
USE OF THE FEET PLATE
The footrest must be fitted in its square housing located under the seat. Fix it with the
specific straighten parts. It’s possible to adjust the height following the sliding
mechanism and the inclination of the footrest plate with the two screws located under
the same footrest.
USE OF THE TRAY
The tray must be fitted in the rail under the armrest and fixed in the desired position. It
is possible to tilt it to the side when it is not used.

USE OF THE TABLE
The tray, when separate, can become a height adjustable table by two tightening parts
placed on the sides. Loosen them, press the release button on the bottom and lift the
table to the desired position. Tighten the tightening parts so that they find the right
position.
CAUTI N: when adjustments are finished, verify that all tightening parts are well
inserted in the locking holes; if you see the thread protruding, the adjustment
must be rechecked. To make the operation easier, a reporting hole was created
under the right hand side of the tightening parts, in order to facilitate the
alignment of the holes.
WHEELS
The seat can be equipped with four wheels with brakes. To mount them it’s enough to
insert them into the special housing under the seat. Remove the headless screws using a
4 mm hex wrench and tighten the wheels in the same location with a 13 mm wrench.
