Local Radio Pager G99 (G99S)
User guide

1. DESIGNATION
Local radio-pager (LRP) is intended for remote reception of local
calls from individual compact transmitters (CT), recognition of
accepted code, indication of number of the transmitting device with
beep.The module of collecting, displaying of accepted information,
and coding of transmitters in after called as R&P (Receiver and
Programmer), in automatic mode creates, and modifies a database
of transmitters (CT) according to its' codes.
2. SYSTEM COMPOSITION
The local radio-pager (LRP) includes:
•R&P module;
•Compact transmitter (CT) in quantity up to 100 pcs;
•Adapter - 1 unit.

4. PRINCIPLE OF OPERATION OF THE COMPACT
TRANSMITTER (CT)
4.1"The MT transmits a radio signal code by pushing the button. The
fact of transmission is confirmed by indication of light emitting diode.
4.2"Transmission duration is limited and is about 0,5sec.
5. PRINCIPLE OF OPERATION OF THE o COLLECTING,
DISPLAYING OF THE RECEIVED INFORMATION AND
TRANSMITTERS ENCODING), - R&P!
MODULE
5.1 Controls and indicators are located on the front panel and
schematically are given on pic. 1.
1. Display of the received signal indication;
2. PROG - shift knob of RECEIVING / PROGRAMMING operation
modes;
3. <-> - button of sound volume or changing of indicated numbers;
4. SAVE - save button;
5. RESET - reset button.
5.2 The display indicates:
On the first digit - the level of the received information:
2

•At qualitative reception three dashes are displayed;
•at normal reception two dashes (=) are displayed;
•at satisfactory reception one dash (-) is displayed;
At poor reception the indication is absent: it is necessary the
installation of a repeater.
On the second and third categories:
•The number of the registered signals or numbers of programmed
signals, depending on the operation mode.
5.3"R&P has two modes of operation: "RECEPTION" and
"PROGRAMMING".!
The transition from mode-to- mode is carried out by pushing the
PROG button and accompanied with beep, and with indication of
special digits (dashes), according to each mode:
- at "RECEPTION" mode will be one beep and dashes in two cells of
the display - - ;!
- at the "PROGRAMMING" mode will be two beeps and a symbol as
3 horizontal dashes in two cells of the display ()
5.4""PROGRAMMING" MODE
5.4.1 At "PROGRAMMING" mode R&P carries out the following
operations:
•selection of the registration number;
•recording of radio signal code according to selected number;
•deleting of radio signal code of the selected number or all before
registered radio signals' codes.
5.4.2"Selection of the registration number is carried out by
repeated pushing (up to necessary value select) of the <-> buttons
(thus operation of addition "+1" is carried out) and on the display
digits from 0 up to 99 are indicated. At continuous pushing of the
<-> button the operation of "-1" subtraction from the registration
number on the display is carried out.
5.4.3"For recording of radio signal code of the selected number, it
is necessary to push the SAVE button and right away push the
button of the radio-transmitter, thus on the display the symbol ] [ is
indicated, and after completing of the symbol recording, [ ] is
indicated and three beeps are generated.
5.4.4"For removing of the radio signal code of the selected number
it is necessary to push the RESET button, thus on the display the
digit 1 (pointing on cancel of one code) is indicated and beep about
completing is generated. For canceling of all registered codes, it is
necessary to push the RESET button at zero selected number, thus
3

on the display the digit А(pointing on cancel of all all codes) and
the beep about termination is generated.
5.5 "RECEPTION" MODE
5.5.1"At "RECEPTION" mode R&P carries out the following
operations:
•receipt a radio signal, decodes a code and compares it with
earlier saved one in it's memory. If the code in memory is
detected, R&P observes it's enabling, defines at what number is
registered;
•indicates and removes numbers of the registered signals;
•indicates the quality of a received signal connected with
remoteness of the transmitter;
•generates beeps about presence of the radio signal received;
•changes level of beep.
5.5.2"At reception of the radio signals registered on numbers from
1 up to 99, on the display of R&P module the corresponding
number is displayed.
5.5.3"
At reception of registered and indicated signal, reception of all
subsequent, enabling signals is recorded in R&P memory, but is not
displayed directly. On the display the „symbol is displayed, and the
discontinuous beep is changed signalling about presence of
hidden, not displayed information. R&P can save up to 15 enabling
signals.
5.5.4. At presence in R&P even of the one registered information,
the device generates continuous beeps.
5.5.5 All information, display presentation, and also level of sound
are kept in memory at turning offof power supply, and restored at
switching on.!
5.5.6"At pushing of the RESET button the information displayed on
the display cancels and the subsequent registered in the memory is
displayed.
5.5.7 At absence of the registered signal, the display indicates the
symbol - - , beep is turned out.
5.5.8 It is possible to change sound level by consecutive pushing of
the <-> button, cyclically choosing one of three values.
6. SETTING-UP PROCEDURES
6.1 REGISTRATION OF COMPACT TRANSMITTERS (CT)
6.1.1 Switch on the device.
6.1.2 On the display the - - symbol should be displayed.
6.1.3 Turn the system in "PROGRAMMING" mode by pushing the
PROG button as it is given in it 5.3 Before recording it is desirable to
cancel all registration numbers in the device (see it 5.4.4).
6.1.4 Set the number of recording 00 (see it 5.4.2), and register a
radio-transmitter according to it.
The radio-transmitter with a registration number 00 carries out
functions of remote RESET, i.e. doubles the button RESET. After
finishing of recording, the device is again ready to the further
recording of radio-transmitters and the symbol = = should be
displayed on the display. At pushing the <-> button, on the display
the following value of a registration number indicates, in this case
01 is automatically adjusted. For registration of the following radio
transmitter it is necessary to repeat operations according to it 5.4.3
and so up to 99 numbers.
4

6.1.5 If the same radio transmitter was registered at different
numbers then only the last registration is remembered, and
previous is automatically removed.
6.2 MODIFICATION AND REMOVING OF REGISTERED
NUMBERS
6.2.1 For recording a new radio-transmitter it is necessary to switch
the device in the "PROGRAMMING" mode as it described in it 5.3.
To adjust necessary number of recording and to carry out recording
as it described in it 5.4.3 and removing of before registered number
is not necessary.
6.2.2 Removing of any registered number is carried out according
to it 5.4.4.
6.3 OPERATION IN "RECEPTION" MODE
6.3.1 Turn on the device.
6.3.2 On the display the symbol - - is displayed.
6.3.3 The device is in "Reception" mode.!
6.3.4 At presence of any enabled (registered) call, the registered
number (for example, 01) is displayed and the beep is generated.
At call reset by pushing of RESET button or remote RESET (see it
6.1.4), the beep is muted and the symbol - - is displayed.
6.3.5
At reception if more than one enabled (registered) call, the
registered number of the first received call with points after digits
(,)is displayed (for example (0,10), and the beep is changed. At call
reset, by RESET or remote RESET button, the previous registered
number is removed, and the subsequent is displayed and the beep
does not change. The symbol , , disappears if indicated number is
the last received.
6.3.6 It is possible to change sound volume cyclically by consecutive
pushing of the button <-> .
7. WARRANTY
Warranty period of operation is 18 months. During the warranty
period thi failure arisen on fault of the firm - manufacturer are
removed without disbursement by presentation of the present
certificate with a marker pip about date of sale and the stamp of
shop.
