User Guide: Joystick Analogue PlayStation
INTRODUCTION
The Joystick Analogue PlayStation style (SAP-JAP) uses a basic joystick mechanism similar to the SONY
SixAxis or Dualshock controller. SAP-JAP is the base model in a range of specialist joysticks designed to
give all ability access to videogames consoles when partnered with LEPMIS Switch Access Pod (PS3-SAP).
SET-UP, USE AND PROBLEM SOLVING
Plug SAP-JAP into the PS3-SAP. Forwards is indicated by the cable exit position.
This joystick will provide years of trouble-free operation despite prolonged heavy use, but please note:
- Avoid repeatedly plugging the connector in and out in order to preserve the connector’s contacts.
- LEPMIS can repair accidental damage –our contact details are in this user guide.
WARNING: This device must not be used for controlling a powered
wheelchair or any device for human mobility or transportation.
DISPOSAL AND RECYCLING
This symbol means that the SAP-JAP must be re-cycled when no longer required. Please do not
throw away in the general refuse. Please request from LEPMIS a pre-paid envelope in which to return
it, or take it to your council recycling facility.

CLEANING INSTRUCTIONS
When necessary, the unit should be cleaned with a barely damp cloth, using only a tiny amount of household
detergent. DO NOT USE abrasive products or solvents.
AVOID getting fluids or foreign material into the enclosure as this may cause corrosion and the unit may stop
working. Failure of the unit in this way is not covered by the 12 month warranty.
