Instructions for use
1. Choose a dry day and preferably when leaves have had a chance to
dry out. Using a rake to turn the leaves the day before you intend to
clear them is recommended as this helps them to dry on both sides.
2. Stand upright and hold the blower, using the handle.
3. Keep the blower approximately 10-15cm off the ground and aim it at
the leaves.
4. Turn the power switch on and move the leaves towards a chosen point
on a flat surface. Swing the blower from left to right to get a better
coverage.
To charge the battery
Take the battery out of the leaf blower by pressing the release button.
Insert the battery into the charger and plug the charger electric cable into a
power socket. The red light on the charger will turn on to indicate charging is
underway.
The charger will stop charging once the battery is fully charged (after
approximately 3-5 hours). The green lights will come on when the battery is
charged. Once fully charged, switch off the power source and remove the
battery from the charger.
The charger may become warm when charging, this is normal and does not
indicate a fault with the charger.

8
Care and maintenance
Before each use check the leaf blower for any obvious defects such as loose,
worn or damaged parts.
Do not use the leaf blower if there is any sign of damage.
Check the outer sections of the body for any damage and if present get a
qualified person to replace.
Carry out the following maintenance and cleaning work regularly:
•Every time you use the leaf blower clean all parts especially the ventilation
slots. Remove any moisture, debris or dust and store in a clean dry
environment.
•Do not use or submerge the leaf blower in water or use cleaning agents or
solvents, these may damage the leaf blower.
•Do not try to service the leaf blower yourself, always take it to a qualified
repair person.
Li-Ion battery care & maintenance
Lithium-Ion rechargeable batteries require routine maintenance and care in
their use and handling. Read and follow the guidelines to safely use Lithium-
Ion batteries and achieve the maximum battery life span.
•Do not leave batteries unused for extended periods of time, either in
the machine or in storage. When a battery has been unused for 3
months or more, check the charge status and charge or dispose of the
battery as appropriate.
•The typical estimated life of a Lithium-Ion battery is about two years or
300 charge cycles, whichever occurs first. One charge cycle is a period
of use from fully charged, to fully discharged, and fully recharged
again.
•Rechargeable Lithium-Ion batteries have a limited life and will
gradually lose their capacity to hold a charge. This loss of capacity
(aging) is irreversible. As the battery loses capacity, the length of time it
will power the product (run time) decreases.
•Lithium-Ion batteries continue to slowly discharge (self-discharge) when
not in use or while in storage. Routinely check the battery’s charge
status.

9
•Carefully monitor batteries that are approaching the end of their
estimated life.
•Consider replacing the battery with a new one if you note either of the
following conditions:
The battery run time drops below about 60% of the original run
time.
The battery charge time increases significantly.
•If a battery is stored or otherwise unused for an extended period, follow
the storage instructions. If damaged, do not attempt to recharge it or
to use it. Replace it with a new battery.
Storage
•Charge or discharge the battery to approximately 50% of capacity
before storage.
•Charge the battery to approximately 50% of capacity at least once
every six months.
•Remove the battery and store it separately from the product.
•Store the battery at temperatures between 5°C and 20°C (41°F and
68°F).
Please note: Higher temperatures (above 20°C or 68°F) reduce the battery
storage life.
