There are no user-serviceable parts inside the device. Always refer to an
authorized dealer for service and/or spare parts.
Never expose to rain or even use in rain. Water entering a power
tool will increase the risk of electric shock.
Immediately unplug the device if the electric cable is damaged or
have been cut.
Device heats up during use. Never touch the heat shield or
nozzle while using the device. Always let the device cool down
for at least 30 minutes. Some parts of this device can get very
hot, even when using for a short time.
Never use this device nearinflammable products or in explosive
atmospheres. Heat can cause fire to inflammable products even when they are
not in sight. Never use the burner in the presence of flammable liquids, gasses or
dust.Power tools create sparks which may ignite the dust of fumes .
Only outdoor use, only use in properly ventilated areas.

GENERAL SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS FOR POWER TOOLS
WARNING! Read all instructions
WARNING: Always switch off the appliance when non-working.
WARNING: Always remove the plug from the socket when not using
the device,when replacing the nozzles or during maintenance
of the device
Failure to follow all instructions listed below may result in electric shock, fire and/or
serious injury.
The term “power tool”in all of the warnings listed below refers to your mains
operated (corded) power tool or battery operated (cordless) power tool.
1. Electrical safety warnings

a. Power tool plugs must match the outlet. Never modify the plug in any way. Do
not use any adapter plugs which earthed (grounded) power tools.
Unmodified plugs and matching outlets will reduce risk of electric shock.
b. Avoid body contact with earthed or grounded surfaces such as pipes,
radiators, ranges and refrigerators.
There is an increased risk of electric shock if your body is earthed or grounded.
c. Do not abuse the cord. Never use the cord for carrying, pulling or unplugging
the power tool. Keep cord away from heat, oil, sharp edges or moving parts.
Damaged or entangled cords increase the risk of electric shock.
d. When operating a power tool outdoors, use an extension cord suitable for
outdooruse.
Use of a cord suitable for outdoor use reduces the risk of electric shock.
2. Personal safety
a. Avoid accidental starting. Ensure the switch is in the off position before
plugging in.
b. Do not overreach. Keep proper footing and balance at all times.
c. Dress properly. Do not wear loose clothing or jewellery.
3. Power tool use and care
a. Only use the device for its intended purpose. Using the device in an
unauthorized way will void the warranty.
b. Do not use the power tool if the switch does not turn it on and off.
c. Disconnect the plug from the power source before making any adjustments,
changing accessories, or storing power tools.
Such preventive safety measures reduce the risk of starting the power tool
accidentally.
d. Store idle power tools out of the reach of children and do not allow persons
unfamiliar with the power tool or these instructions to operate the power tool.
Power tools are dangerous in the hands of untrained users.
e. Maintain power tools. Check for misalignment or binding of moving parts,
breakage of parts and any other condition that may affect the power tools
operation.

ADDITIONAL SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
This device cannot be used by children and persons with reduced
physical, sensory or mental capabilities or lack of experience and
knowledge if they have been given supervision or instruction concerning
use of the appliance in a safe way and understand the hazards involved.
Children shall not play with the appliance.
Cleaning and user maintenance shall not be made by children without supervision.
When using electric tools, basic safety precautions should always be
followed to reduce the risk of fire, electric shock and personal injury.
Read all these instructions before attempting to operate this product and
save these instructions.
Before using the appliance :
Check the following:
•Make sure the voltage of the appliance corresponds with the power voltage;
–Are the mains lead and the mains plug strong, without ravels or damages.
–Caution is advised when using long extension cables
•Do not use the appliance under moist circumstances;
•The metal mouthpiece gets hot. Watch outand do nottouch the metal mouthpiece;
•Prevent damage of the heating element. Do not lock or block the mouth piece;
•Do not leave the appliance when switched on
•Never look into the hot air nozzle
•Do not use the device on or near very dry spots to avoid fire.
•Always remove the plug from the socket when not using the device, when replacing
the nozzles or during maintenance of the device
•Do not point the device at the same place for longer periods of time
•Do not hold the device too close tothe surface about to be worked on as the
device can overheat

•Pay attention to the direct / indirect workspace as the heat can ignite flammable
materials, which are close by but not necessarily in view
•Do not allow the hot parts of the device to touch the cord or other flammable
materials
•The device should always be clean, dry and free of grease and oil
•Do not use the appliance for purposes other than for which it is intended.
This appliance operates at a temperature of 600 degrees without visible
signs of this temperature (no flames), still there is a chance of fire risk.
Watch outfor the hot air stream from the mouth piece. This air stream
can cause burns.
When operating the appliance
•If you are going to use the tool, vapours and gas can be released during a short time.
This can be harmful for yourhealth. Asthmatics can suffer hindrance of it;
•Before connecting the plug to the mains voltage you have to check if the switch is in
position “0”;
•Keep the mains lead always away from the nozzle of the tool;
•Keep children and animals away from the appliance if you are using it.
•Keep all parts of the body away from the metal heating head. Do not touch it before
it is cooled down.
•Carrythe appliance by the handle when the metal heating head is cooled down.
Immediately switch off the appliance when:

•Plug and/or cable are defective or damaged;
•The switch is defective;
•You smell or see smoke caused by scorched insulation from the appliance.
Electrical safety
When using electric machines always observe the safety regulations applicable in
your country to reduce the risk of fire, electric shock and personal injury. Read the
following safety instructions and also the enclosed safety instructions.
Always check thatthe power supply corresponds to the voltage on the
rating plate.

Replacing cables or plugs
If the power cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer or its service
agent or a similarly qualified person, in orderto avoid a hazard.
Immediately throw away old cables or plugs when they have been replaced by new
ones. It is dangerous to insert the plug of a loose cable in the wall outlet.
Using extension cables
Only use an approved extension cable suitable for the power input of the machine.
The minimum conductor size is 1.5 mm2. When using a cable reel always unwind the
reel completely Inadequate extension cords can be dangerous. If an extension cord is
used, it shall be suitable for outdoor use, and the connection hasto be kept dry and
off the ground. It is recommendedthat this is accomplished by means of a cord reel
which keeps the socket at least 60 mm above the ground.
OPERATION
Always use with caution! Do NOT cover the ventilation openings during
use as it causes a risk of burns!

Temperature settings:
With the temperature switch you can select from two temperature settings. Depending
on the application, you can use the following settings:
Setting I: 50 °C (venting / cooling)
Setting II: 600 °C
The volume of air in each setting 500L /Minute
To turn on the power:
–Slide the switch (1) to position II, depending on the application
To cooling the device:
–After working with the device at high temperature setting (position II), the device is
getting very hot. So it is suggested to slide the switch (1) to position I, to quickly cool
down the device, before turn off and device for storage.
To turn off the appliance:
–Slide the switch (1) to position 0. The unit is now switched off.
To install the nozzle:
The nozzles can easily be pushed over the hot air nozzle. Never touch the nozzles
during or immediately after use of the device. The nozzles are very hot.
OPTION 1: WEED BURNER
Assemble the extension handle
The extension handle consists of two parts. Click to connect both parts.
Now attach the extension handle tothe device.
Make sure that the extension handle firmly clicks into position. If using the device as a
weed killer you must use the extension handle.
Hold the weed killer firmly by holding the endofthe extension handle.
Use:
•Ensure the extension handle is firmly fixed onto the device and that the device is
turned off.
•Install the nozzle (8) to destroy weeds.
•Connecting to power supply and insert the plug into the power socket
This product is designed with a cord retainer that prevents the power cord
from being pulled loose while using. If using the device as a weed killer you
must make sure the power cord is retained by the cord retainer in the way

shown in Fig. 10 before plug into the power socket.
•Check to ensure the nozzle is not blocked before turning the device on.
•Set the temperature to setting II.
•Allow the device about 45 seconds to warm up.
•To eliminate weeds, hold the nozzle over the weeds for about 5 seconds. During
these 5 seconds the cell structure of the weed is destroyed. As a result, the weed dies
within a few days.
•It is not necessary to completely burn the weeds, 5 seconds is more than sufficient.
•For an efficient treatment the nozzle should be held around 0 to 5 cm above the
weeds
•The effects are not visible immediately but will take a while before they can be seen.
It is more of a long-term effect.
OPTION 2: BBQ LIGHTER/ FIREPLACE CHARCOAL LIGHTER ( included or not)
The BBQ and fireplace lighter is always to be used without the extension handle.
Remove the extension handle by pressing and releasing button (7) and pulling the
extension handle from the device.
Use:
•Attach the BBQ / fireplace charcoal lighter nozzle (9) onto the device.
•Select temperature setting II.
•Place the nozzle under the coal or the wood.
•Ensure that the device is properly positioned. The kickstand(2) could be used for
firmly support the device in the proper position.
•Insert the plug into the socket.
•Check to ensure the nozzle is not blocked before turning the device on.
•Remove the device from the coals or the wood as soon as it starts to glow.
•Now blow hot air into the coals or wood from a distance of around 5-10cm, until the
coals or wood is burning properly.
•Doing this will help to avoid damaging the nozzle attachment. Exposing the nozzle
to high temperatures for a prolonged period of time could cause the material to melt.
Please follow these instructions to achieve long-term enjoyment with the product.
Watch Out! To avoid overheating of the BBQ or Fireplace do not use the device for
longer than necessary.
COOLING:
Before turning off the device, it must be cooled first. Select temperature setting I for at

least one minute. The device can be switched off thereafter.
Place the appliance on its kickstand (2) after use and allow it to cool down before
storage
STORAGE:
Make sure that the device has completely cooled down before storage/cleaning.
CLEANING
Keep the ventilation slots of the machine clean to prevent overheating of the engine.
Regularly clean the machine housing with a soft cloth, preferably after each use. Keep
the ventilation slots free from dust and dirt. If the dirt does not come off use a soft cloth
moistened with soapy water. Never immerse the device in any liquid. Never use
solvents such as petrol, alcohol, ammonia water, etc. These solvents may damage
the plastic parts.
If the device falls into water, unplug it immediately. Never reach into the water when
the burner is still connected.
IMPORTANT NOTES :
•Leaves, pine needles, dry grass, dry woods may catch fire. Watch the
treated weed for some time after treatment.
•This device is not intended for professional use.
•This device serves exclusively to eliminate sprawl between paving
stones,on paved areas, from masonry, in flower beds and lawns during
the growth period.
•The results are not immediately visible
•Older plants with hard leaves, such as thistles, dry earliest after repeated
treatment at intervals of about two weeks. Some types of weed are
extremely robust and require a longer exposure to heat.
•The weed only needs to be heated. Burning is not necessary. The cells of
the leaves dry out by heating and the weed dies.
•Certain weed species require repeated treatment

production flaws and defective materials as from the original date of
purchase.
•The factory or distributor can decide to replace an article with an
equivalent article, or to refund the retail value totally or partially when
the complaint is valid and a free repair or replacement of the article is

•You will be delivered a replacing article or a refund at the value of 100%
of the purchase price in case of a flaw occurred in the first year after the
date of purchase and delivery, or a replacing article at 50% of the

Houd dit toestel steeds buiten het bereik van kinderen of onbevoegden.
Afleiding kan verlies van controle over dit toestel veroorzaken.
Het niet volgen van de handleiding kan persoonlijke kwetsuren
veroorzaken of kan aanleiding geven tot ernstige schade aan dit toestel.
Elektrocutiegevaar bij het openen van het toestel. Raak geen kabels aan
die onder stroom staan, om dodelijke elektrische schokken te
vermijden. Open of ontmantel de behuizing niet zelf. Laat het
onderhoud van het toestel over aan een vakman.

Er zijn geen onderdelen in dit toestel die door de gebruiker gerepareerd
kunnen worden. Contacteer altijd uw verdeler voor eventuele reserve
onderdelen.
Stel dit toestel niet bloot aan regen, gebruik dit toestel nooit in regen.
Het binnendringen van water verhoogt het risico op elektrocutie.
Verwijder de stekker onmiddellijk uit het stopcontact wanneer de

Algemene veiligheidsinstructies voor elektrisch gereedschap

Waarschuwing : schakel toestel altijd uit bij niet gebruik.
Waarschuwing : Verwijder altijd de stekker uit het stopcontact
wanneer u het toestel niet gebruikt, of wanneer u de neus wenst te vervangen of
tijdens onderhoud van het toestel
Het niet volgen van alle instructies kan aanleiding geven tot elektrocutie, vuur of
ernstige kwetsuren..
1. Veiligheidsvoorschriften bij elektrische toestellen.
a. Stekkers van elektrisch gereedschap moet overeenkomen met het
stopcontact. Gebruik geen enkele aansluiting met een adapter die niet geschikt
is voor geaarde elektrische toestellen.
b. Vermijd lichaamscontact met geaarde oppervlaktes zoals buizen, radiatoren,
koelkasten.
c. Behandel de kabel op juiste wijze. Gebruik de kabel niet om het elektrisch
toestel te dragen,of trek niet aan de kabel zelf om het toestel uit het stopcontact
te trekken. Hou de kabel weg van hitte, olie, scherpe hoeken, of bewegende

delen.
Beschadigde kabels kunnen het risico op elektrocutie verhogen
d. Gebruik steeds een verlengkabel die geschikt is voor buitenhuis gebruik.
Het gebruik van een geschikte verlengkabel verlaagt het risico op elektrocutie.
2. Persoonsgebonden veiligheidsvoorschriften
a. Vermijd het plots starten van het toestel. Verzeker je ervan dat de schakelaar
op “off “staat ( uitgeschakeld is ) voor het toestel aangesloten wordt.
b. Ga niet vooroverhangen. Bewaar steeds een goede voetpositie en balans
tijdens het gebruik van dit toestel.
c. Draag geschikte kledij. Draag geen losse kledij of juwelen.
3. gebruik van het toestel en onderhoud
a. Gebruik het toestel enkel en alleen waarvoor het gemaakt is. De garantie
vervalt automatisch bij ongeoorloofd gebruik.
b. Gebruik het toestel niet als de “aan”-“uit” schakelaar niet werkt.
c. Trek de kabel uit het stopcontact vooraleer u aanpassingen doet, onderdelen
vervangt of vooraleer u hettoestel opbergt.
d. Berg het toestel op buiten bereik van kinderen en sta niet toe dat anderen die
onbekend zijn met de werking van dit toestel , dit toestel gebruiken.
e. Onderhoud het toestel. Controleer het toestel voor gebruik steeds op slechte
verbindingen, op bewegende delen, op ontbrekende onderdelen of schade van
eender welk aard.
Aanvullende veiligheidsvoorschriften
Dit toestel mag niet gebruikt worden door kinderen of personen
met een verminderde fysieke, zintuigelijke of geestelijke
capaciteiten of gebrek aan ervaring en kennis, tenzij zij onder
toezicht staan of instructie hebben gekregen over het gebruik van
dit toestel van een persoon die verantwoordelijk is voor hun
veiligheid. Kinderen mogen niet met dit toestel spelen. .

- Verzeker je ervan dat het voltage van dit toestel overeenstemt met de
stroombron;
- controleer je elektriciteitskabels op hun degelijkheid, deze dienen gevrijwaard
te zijn van schade en dienen geschikt te zijn voor buitengebruik;
- Voorzichtigheid is geboden bij het gebruik van lange verlengkabels;
- Gebruik dit toestel niet bij vochtige omstandigheden;
- Het metalen mondstuk wordt zeer warm. Raak de neus nooit aan bij het
gebruik van dit toestel of als hij nog niet voldoende afgekoeld is;
- Voorkom schade aan het hitte element. Blokkeer nooit of sluit nooit het
neuselement af;
-Laat het toestel nooit onbeheerd achter wanneer het ingeschakeld is;
- Kijk nooit in de hetelucht uitgang;
- Gebruik dit toestel niet bij zere droge plaatsen om vuurte voorkomen;
- Trek altijd het stopcontact uit wanneer u het toestel niet gebruikt, of wanneer u
de neus wenst te vervangen, of tijden onderhoud van het toestel;
-Richt hettoestel niet te lange tijd op dezelfde plaats;
- Hou het toestel niet te kort bij de grond, om overhitting te voorkomen;
- Hou steeds rekening met direkte/indirekte omgeving om te voorkomen dat
ontvlambare produkten vuur vatten, ook al zijn deze niet direkt zichtbaar;
- Het toestel dient steeds proper, droog ,vrij te zijn van vuil en olie ;
- Gebruik hettoestel enkel waarvoor het gemaakt is.
Dit toestel werkt met een temperatuur van 600 graden zonder
duidelijke zichtbare indicaties van deze temperatuur (geen
vlammen ).Er is steeds het risico op vuur. Opgelet voor de hete
lucht die het mondstuk genereert. De hete luchtstroom kan
brandwonden veroorzaken.
Tijdens het gebruik van het toestel
•als u het toestel gaat gebruiken, zullen er gedurende korte tijd dampen en gassen
vrijkomen. Deze kunnen schadelijk zijn voor je gezondheid bij inademing hiervan.
Astmapatiënten kunnen hiervan hinder ondervinden.
•vooraleer u het toestel aansluit, controleer dan of de “aan”/”uit” schakelaar op
positie “0” staat;
•houd de elektriciteitskabel weg van de neus van het toestel;
•houd kinderen en/of dieren weg van dit toestel tijdens het gebruik;
