RoHS DECLARATION of CONFORMANCE

The European Parliament Directive 2002/95/EC Restriction on Hazardous Substances (RoHS) stipulates that from
1 July 2006 certain electrical and electronic equipment placed on the European Union market shall not contain
quantities of specific substances/materials in excess of the identified maximum concentration levels as listed below.

< 0.1% (1,000 PPM) Polybrominated Diphenyl Ethers (PBDE)
Based on information derived from supplier material declarations and our own verification system, Garmin declares
that the following list of parts do not exceed the maximum concentration levels of substances mentioned above per
homogeneous material, unless allowed in the Application Exemptions listed in the Annex of the RoHS Directive.
Homogeneous material is defined as a substance or mixture of substances with uniform composition (such as
solders, resins, platings, etc).
