Thank you very much for purchasing a SENSORSAFE clip. The
product is manufactured under special quality surveillance and
complies with the strictest safety requirements.
!WARNING! SENSORSAFE cannot be used with other seats
than the ones listed. Application on other products can lead
to serious danger for your child.
!WARNING! It is essential to use and install SENSORSAFE
according to the instructions given in this manual. In
particular please take care of the right positioning of the clip!
SENSORSAFE is a monitoring system. Attached to the car
seat and connected to your smartphone by Bluetooth (Bluetooth
class 2) it will alert you in critical situations for the child. The system
consists of the following components:

INSTALLATION AND DEINSTALLATION
The dongle acts as a communication bridge between the clip and
(1). The socket is usually located close to the steering wheel. Refer
to your vehicle owner’s manual for exact location or contact the car
manufacturer.
The SENSORSAFE clip needs to be attached to the harness
system of the seat. Both parts of the clip have slots for connecting it
to the harness system.
For installation of both parts please proceed as follows:
• Grasp the harness under the shoulder pads and guide it from
back to front through the upper slot of the clip (2).
• Guide the harness behind the clip and insert it from back to front
in the lower slot.

Download and setup
The SENSORSAFE App can be downloaded in Apple AppStore or
For using the SENSORSAFE clip connected to the
SENSORSAFE App please make sure that:
• the App is installed on your smartphone.
• Bluetooth is turned on.
• the clip is buckled and your smartphone is connected to it.
• the SENSORSAFE.

Before using SENSORSAFE
smartphone need to be connected. In future the system will awake
activated on your smartphone.
For connecting please proceed as follows:

CONNECTING SEVERAL CLIPS WITH ONE SMARTPHONE
Therefore connect your smartphone with each clip one after
another by clicking ‘connect new devices’ and following
further instructions.

One clip can be connected with more than one smartphone.
Active usage of SENSORSAFE at one time is only possible with
one smartphone.

FUNCTIONAL PRINCIPLE
After the SENSORSAFE clip has been installed on the seat and
when it is closed. A LED on the clip will light up twice when data
transfer starts.
The following information will be sent to the application
• closing status of the clip (open or closed)
• ambient temperature
• battery status
Further SENSORSAFE will send alarms in possibly unsafe
• ambient temperature of the child approaches a critical level
(too high or too low).
• you leave a certain radius around your car and the clip is
still closed.
• the Bluetooth connection to SENSORSAFE breaks.
• the clip has been buckled for more than two hours.
If you stay outside of the radius for too long and the clip is still
