GROUNDINGINSTRUCTIONS
This appliance must be grounded. In the exent of an electrical
short circuit, grounding reduces the risk of electric shock b)
proxiding an escape wire f_)r the electric current.
This appliance is equipped with a power cord having a grounding
wire with a grounding plug. The plug must be plugged into an
outlet that is properl) installed and grounded.
Consuh a qualified electrician or serxice technician if the
grounding instructions are not completel) understood, or if
doubt exists as to whether the appliance is properl) grounded.
If the outlet is a standard 2-prong wall outlet, it is your personal
responsibilib and obligation to haxe it replaced with a properl)
grounded 3-prong wall outlet.
Do not under an) circumstances cut or remoxe the third (ground)
prong fiom the power cord.
¥\_ &) not recommend using an extension cord _ith this appliance.
If the power cord is too short, have a qualified electrician or service
technician inst,dl an outlet near the appliance. (See WARNING--
