8.Do not reinsert the power supply cord within 5 minutes after releasing it from the
socket. If not, there may be problems with the compressor.
9. Put food in the refrigerator after running the refrigerator for 2~3 hours.

■ Ice tray
Fill 3/4 of the ice tray with water, as the volume expands when the water is frozen. Place
the tray in the freezer compartment. To release ice cubes, twist the ice tray slightly. Ice
cubeswillbe easiertoremove if itisheld for ashort whileunder runningwater.
■ Movable refrigerator and freezer shelves
Storage shelves should beadjusted depending on the height of the food stored. To do this,
pull the shelves slightly forward.
■ Vegetable case
May be used for fruit and vegetable storage. Both the vegetable case and its cover shelf
areremovableforeasycleaning.Simplyslideforwardtoremove.
■ Utility Pocket (Top)
TheEgg Case inthis pocket canbe turnedupsidedown for the use ofsmallsizegoods.
Location
Install the refrigerator in a convenient location away from extreme heat and cold. Allow
at least 6cm clearance betweenthe refrigeratorand side wall so that the door mayopen
for a fully usable interior and the refrigerator may have good air circulation. The
refrigeratoris notdesigned forrecessed installation.
■ Selecta strong and level floor.
■ Keep6cm of space between the refrigeratorand the walls.

NOTE:Duringhot,humidweatherandinrainyseason, moisturemay
developonthecabinet,justaswater condensesaroundacoldglass
ofwater.Itisnotan abnormalcondition;wipeoffthemoisturewitha
drycloth.Thiscanalsohappen whentherefrigeratorisnotinstalled
inanappropriateplace.
1.Clean the refrigerator thoroughly. Wipe the outside with a dry cloth,and the insidewith
a damp cloth.
2.Setthe temperaturecontrol knob at normalposition.
3.Connect thepowersupply cord.
Disconnect thepower supplycord.Removeicingcase andfood.Leavedoorsopenfor
ventilationanddehumidification ofbothcompartments.

edgesandsides.Thisdoesnotindicatemalfunction.
Itisduetothehot-lineusedinthistypeofRefrigeratingSystemwhichconsistsofpipinghotgas
fromthe(motor-driven) compressoralongthefrontedges,thesidesofthecabinetandthecenter
partitiontopreventdewing.Thishasnothingtodowiththestoragetemperatureinside.

CAUTION
Improperuseof thegrounding plug can result in electric shock. If a grounding adapter
isused,makesurethereceptacleboxisfullygrounded.
POWERCORDREPLACEMENT
If the supply cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer or its service
agentorasimmilaryqualifiedpersoninordertoavoidahazard.
Whennotusedforalongtime
■ Removethepowersupplycord.
■ Dryyourrefrigeratorbyopeningthedoorfor2-3days.
Whenyou getready to move
■ Securelyfastenmovableinteriorparts(orremoveandpackthemseparately).
■ DONOTlaydownyourrefrigeratorhorizontally,orthecompressormaybedamaged.

■ Isthepowersupplycord unplugged?
■ Isthehomefuse or circuit outoforder?
If therefrigerator is warmer thanusual:
■ Hasthedoorbeenopenedfrequentlyorforalongperiod?
■ Arethere anyhotfood oranythingthathasbeenstored without cooling?
■ Istheclearancebetweenthe refrigeratorandthewallgivensufficiently?
If there are unusual sounds:
■ Istherefrigeratorplacedonalevelledfloor?
■ Arethere anyforeignobjects behind the refrigerator?
■ Aredisheson refrigeratorshelves vibrating?
