ApexPro Telemetry Server Specific Hazards
:$51,1*6
LOSS OF MONITORING — If it is necessary to shut down the
ApexPro Telemetry Server, notify the site’s biomedical
department so patient communications can be established with an
alternative central station (the Bed Duplicator application can be
used to temporarily transfer patients to an alternate ApexPro
tower. See “Temporary Bed Transfer” on page 4-4). Shutting
down the ApexPro Telemetry Server causes disruption of
monitoring function at the CIC Pro.
EXPLOSION HAZARD — Do not use this equipment in the
presence of flammable anesthetics, vapors or liquids. Severe
burns/injury can result.
LOSS OF ALARMS/DATA — Use the ApexPro Telemetry
Server with ApexPro V3.5 ONLY with CIC Pros running
ApexPro V3.3. ApexPro V3.5 is backward-compatible with
ApexPro V3.3 ONLY Other previous versions of ApexPro are
NOT compatible with ApexPro V3.5. In-unit compatible sharing
of the same care unit names between ApexPro Telemetry Server
and ApexPro devices having incompatible software versions can
result in lost or corrupted telemetry alarm defaults data and loss of
audible alarms.
