DWash/Spin Speed
Tile agitator moves (lothes around for a (leaner wash; tile basket spins later in tile o_(le to release
water fiom the load. The Wash/Spin Speed dial sets the speed of both the agitator and the basket.
With Nomlal wash speed, the a_tator moves faster. Use tot cottons, denims and play clothes. With
(;entle wash speed, the agitator inoves slower. Use for delk ate and knit items.

The Fast spin speed isfor durable items. The Slow spin speed isfor delicate items like sweaters and
lingerie. When using the Slow spin speed, dothes will be less d_T than when using Fast spin speed.

Liquid Bleach Dispenser (on some models)
The dispenser dilutes liquid chlorine bleach beli)re it reaches into your wash load.

Extra Rinse (on some models)
When you use extra detergent or bleach
to clean heavily soiled clothes, y_)u may

in the COTTONS Q_cle. Turn the Extra
Rinse knob to SEE

SensorWash
SensorWash (on some models)
The SensorWash senses the incoming water temperature and adjusts the fill water to obtain a
more precise temperature range for all three wash temperatures. You may select cold, warm
or hot. For example, in a Cold Wash selection, some wmm water may be added to reach a
temperature needed to better dissolve detergen/s. Often, detergents are not completely
dissolved in very cold water, especially in cooler climates.
NOTE:The SensorWash_fillnot a@_st tlle fill on WARMWASHunless the washer lid is
dosed. Besuretostartthewasheraftertheridisclosed.

You can use less detergent if you have soft water, a
smaller load, or a lightly soiled load.
LoadingtheWasher
Load dry items loosely, no higher than the top
row of holes in the washer rob. When loading wet
items make sure you set the load/water level high
enough to allow the items to move fleely. Water
level shouldjust cover the clothes. To add items
after washer has started, push in (ycle knob and
submerge additional items next to the agitator.
(lose the lid and pull Cycle knob out to restart.
•Donot wrap large items like sheets around the
agitator.
• Donot wash fabrics containing flammable
materials (waxes, cleaning fluids, etc.).
• Agitation will not start with the lidup.
