WARRANTY AND LIMITATION OF LIABILITY
Limited One-Year Warranty
GearLight warrants this product for one year from the date of purchase
against any defects in material or workmanship. This warranty does not cover
normal wear and tear, nor damage resulting from misuse or neglect. We will,
at our discretion, repair, replace, or refund the purchase price of this product
should we determine it to be defective.
Limitation Of Liability
Liability limited to the purchase price of this product. GearLight shall not be
liable for any incidental or consequential damages or any implied warranty on
this product. Some states do not allow the exclusion or limitation of
incidental or consequential damages, so the above limitation or exclusion
may not apply to you.
MAINTENANCE
TROUBLESHOOTING
If the book light does not turn on, or works intermittently:
• Charge the book light until the red LED indicator light turns green.
If the book light does not charge:
• Inspect the book light and charging cable for any damage or corrosion.
• Check the USB charging cable connections and the power source.
• Replace the USB charging cable.
Note: A computer in sleep mode might not charge the book light.
If the book light appears dim or faded:
• Charge the book light until the red LED indicator light turns green.
• Replace the USB charging cable.
If the problem persists, contact GearLight for a replacement.
When not in use, store the book light with a moderate level of charge and
in a cool place away from flammable materials. Once every few months,
discharge the batteries fully and recharge.

1. Do not use the book light while it is charging. Unplug the book light before use.
2. Avoid storing the book light in bathrooms, basements, or other areas where

4. Clean only with a soft, dry cloth; do not use solvents or cleaning solutions.

hazard. Do not charge or store your book light near flammable materials. Do not
overcharge the book light; unplug once fully charged or if left unattended. Use
only UL-listed charging adapters rated at 5V 1A max. Do not use or charge the
book light if it is wet or damaged. Do not use or charge the book light with a wet
or damaged USB charging cable. Keep the book light away from fire, water, and
high temperatures. Never overload electrical circuits as it may cause electrical
shock or fire. Failure to follow safety instructions may result in personal injury and
damage to property.

Switching Modes
• To cycle through the dierent lighting
modes, press the power button until
you reach the desired mode.
On/O
• To turn the book light on, gently press the power button located on the
back of the head of the book light until you hear a click.
• To turn the book light o, gently press the power button to cycle
through the dierent modes until the book light turns o.

Once the LED indicator turns green, remove the charging cable. The book
light is now fully charged and ready for use.

A red LED indicator will illuminate when charging (Fig. 4). Continue
charging the book light until the LED indicator turns green (Fig. 5).

Connect the charging cable to a
powered USB port (Fig. 3), such as a
USB charger adapter, power bank,
car charger, PC or laptop. Note: A
computer in sleep mode will not
charge the book light.
