Before placing the
hanging ring on the
tree, make sure the
direction arrow is
facing the front.

Q: How do I show just a single effect?
A: Erase all other effects in that effect group.
Q: Why do I get blinking red lights when I’m erasing effects?
A: GlowFlakes require at least one effect in each effect group. Blinking red
lights indicating you can not remove any additional effects.
Q: Can I restore a single erased effect?
A: No, reset will restore them all. To restore, hold the Erase button down for 5
seconds. When the lights ash white, all effects have been restored.
Q: Do I lose my setting if I unplug the unit?
A: No, all settings are stored in memory.
Q: How can I use GlowFlakes on a tree shorter than 7½ feet?
A: Zig-Zag GlowFlakes in and out of the tree.
Q: Can I use GlowFlakes outside?
A: No. GlowFlakes are for indoor use only.

• Use product only as indicated in instructions. Do not modify or alter product.

• Ensure all live trees are well maintained. Do not use product if tree is dry,
needles are brown, or needles easily break. Keep product away from water.
To avoid tip-over, ensure tree is secure and stable before decorating.
• Inspect product before each use. Do not use parts that have cut, damaged,
or frayed wire insulation or cords. Do not use parts with loose connections or
exposed copper wire. Do not attempt repairs on product. There are no user-
serviceable parts.
• Use only included power cord and power supply. Do not use plug adapter or
replace plug. Plug directly into wall outlet. Do not use extension cord. Do not
use adapter with other products. Product uses overload protection circuitry
to disable product if overload is detected. If this happens, unplug power, wait
30 seconds and try again. If problem persists, discontinue use and contact
manufacturer for assistance.

Geek My Tree Inc (“Manufacturer”) warrants to the original purchaser (“Purchaser”)
that the GeekMyTree GlowFlakes system (the “Product”) will be free from defects in
material and workmanship, subject to the terms below, for a period not to exceed 24
months from the date of original purchase.
The Product shall be considered defective only if two or more GlowFlakes on a single
strand fail to light as designed or if the LED controller fails to function as designed by
the Manufacturer. Slight color variations may occur between GlowFlakes and are not
considered defects.
The Product is designed and rated for INDOOR USE ONLY. This Limited Warranty
does not apply and is void if damage or failure is caused by any acts of God, abuse,
misuse, abnormal use, accident, faulty installation, alteration or maintenance
performed by anyone other than Manufacturer, liquid contact, re, improper power
supply, power surges or uctuations, corrosive environments, neglect, exposure or
any usage outside of Manufacturer’s instructions or in violation of safety warnings.
This Limited Warranty does not apply to cosmetic damage including but not limited to
scratches, dents, breakage, color fading, or damage caused by normal wear and tear
or aging. The Limited Warranty applies only to the Product and does not cover costs
for shipping or labor for installation or removal. This Limited Warranty does not cover
Products that are purchased from unauthorized resellers, seasonal stores with an
“all sales nal” policy, close-out stores, or auctions. Issues with Products purchased
through these sources must be handled through the seller.
TO THE EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, THIS WARRANTY AND THE REMEDIES
SET FORTH HEREIN ARE EXCLUSIVE AND IN LIEU OF ALL OTHER WARRANTIES,
REMEDIES AND CONDITIONS, WHETHER ORAL, WRITTEN, STATUTORY,

INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO LOSS OF USE, LOSS OF REVENUE, LOSS
OF ACTUAL OR ANTICIPATED PROFITS, LOSS OF THE USE OF MONEY, LOSS
OF BUSINESS, LOSS OF OPPORTUNITY, LOSS OF GOODWILL, AND LOSS OF
REPUTATION. THE MAXIMUM LIABILITY OF MANUFACTURER SHALL NOT IN
ANY CASE EXCEED THE PURCHASE PRICE PAID BY YOU FOR THE PRODUCT.

ALLOW THE EXCLUSION OR LIMITATION OF INCIDENTAL OR CONSEQUENTIAL

In the event of a defect (as dened above) within the warranty period, contact
the Manufacturer for instructions and return authorization. After receiving return
authorization, you must return the Product to Manufacturer postage prepaid. You
must include your original sales receipt along with the Return Authorization number.
Products returned without a Return Authorization Number are not eligible for warranty
service. You must also enclose a return address and pack the Product to minimize the
risk of it being damaged in transit. If we receive a Product in damaged condition as the
result of shipping, we will notify you and you must seek a claim with the shipper. Keep
copies of all receipts and shipping documents.
If you submit a valid claim to Manufacturer during the warranty period, Manufacturer
will, at its option, repair the Product or furnish you with a new or rebuilt Product
without charge to you except for postage required to return the Product to us. The
Manufacturer reserves the right to use new, reconditioned, refurbished or re-
manufactured Products or parts in the repair or replacement of any Product covered
by this Limited Warranty. Warranty service shall only be performed by Manufacturer.
Manufacturer will not reimburse you for repairs or replacement parts provided by other
parties. Your repaired or replacement Product will be returned to you free of charge
and it will be covered under the warranty for the balance of the warranty period, if any.
When a Product or part is replaced, any replacement item becomes your property and
the replaced item becomes property of Manufacturer. Allow four (4) to six (6) weeks for
repairs or replacements.
THIS WARRANTY GIVES YOU SPECIFIC LEGAL RIGHTS AND YOU MAY ALSO
HAVE OTHER RIGHTS WHICH VARY FROM STATE TO STATE (OR BY COUNTRY
OR PROVINCE). BY THIS WARRANTY, MANUFACTURER DOES NOT LIMIT
OR EXCLUDE YOUR RIGHTS EXCEPT AS ALLOWED BY LAW. TO FULLY
UNDERSTAND YOUR RIGHTS, YOU SHOULD CONSULT THE LAWS OF YOUR
COUNTRY, PROVINCE OR STATE.
