1. Manual Information
1.1. RPT-100 Introduction
This document provides information on using the RPT-100 functions and accessories. RPT-100 is a UHF
(900MHz) RFID and Scanner Reader that quickly recognizes EPC Global Gen2 compliant RFID tags and
barcodes. The recognized results are transmitted to your smartphone, tablet, PC, etc. via USB, Magconn™
and Bluetooth, both wired and wirelessly. The RPT-100 offers the highest grade (IP68) waterproof and
dustproof compliance for stronger product stability against the outside environment.

1.3. Service Information
If you have a problem with your equipment, please contact GEN2WAVE support in your area. For contact
You should have the following information ready when you contact support:
Serial number of the equipment (Displayed on product label)
Product name or model name(Displayed on product label)
Software type and version number (Displayed during booting)
GEN2WAVE will respond to your inquiries by e-mail, telephone or fax within the time limit specified in
the support contract.
If GEN2WAVE Support is unable to resolve your issue, you may need to return your equipment to receive
service. In these cases, specific instructions are provided. GEN2WAVE shall not be liable for any damages
incurred during carriage unless approved transport packaging is used. Improper shipment of the
equipment may invalidate the warranty.

Hold and press the device’s Power key for 2~3 seconds in order to turn the device on or off.

3.3. RFID Tag Reading
You can use the RFID key on the device to start or stop tag reading. The data of the read tag is output
to the LCD. In the case of new data, the count increases. In the local mode, the read tag data is stored in
the internal memory and remains until the data is deleted by the control button. The stored data can be
transmitted in conjunction with the application program..
3.4. Barcode Scanning
You can use the Scanner key on the machine to start or stop barcode reading. The read barcode data is
output to the LCD. In the case of new data, the count increases. In the local mode, the read bar code
data is stored in the internal memory and remains until the data is deleted by the control button. The
stored data can be transmitted in conjunction with the application program.

3.5. Trigger Mode
Each time the Control key on the device is pressed briefly, the trigger mode is changed. The trigger icon
changes as shown below with buzzer sound when the trigger mode is changed.
[Note] Trigger mode is fixed in Hybrid mode and cannot be changed in RSP mode.

Single
After data has been once read, reading or scanning will end
automatically. The read data is displayed on the LCD, and the
redundant data is not incremented by the counter.
Continue
Data is continuously read only while the key is pressed. RFID only
displays new data to the LCD, and redundant data does not increase
the output and count. Scanner will also display data to the LCD, and
count will increase.
Auto
Press the key once to read the data continously, press the key again to
stop the operation. RFID only display new data to the LCD, and
redundant data does not increase the count. Scanner will also display
data to the LCD, and the count will not increase.
Hybrid
Data is read continuously only while the RFID key is pressed. SCANNER
automatically terminates after one reading. RFID is the same as
Continue mode, and SCANNER is the same as Single mode.
Dual
When the RFID key is pressed once, the RFID and SCANNER
simultaneously read the data. When the RFID key is pressed again, the
RFID and the SCANNER stop working. The SCANNER button does not
respond. Generally, it is used in a stationary form.

SPP
Connect Bluetooth-enabled devices (PC, tablet, mobile phone, etc.)
and transfer data with SPP profile.
[Note] Only data transmission is supported.
HID
Transmit data by keyboard by connecting Bluetooth-enabled
device (PC, tablet, mobile phone, etc.) via Bluetooth..
Trigger mode is set to Continue or Auto mode, up to 1000 data is
checked for redundancy while continously readingi data. If the
operation is restarted after finishing the operation, the duplicate is
checked again from the beginning.
D100
If your PC does not support Bluetooth function, you can connect
the DOTD-100 (sold separately) to the PC and transfer data to PC

3.7. Delete Data
Press and hold the device Control key for 2~3 seconds to delete the data stored in the internal memory.
When deleting is complete, the count value is initialized to 0, and a buzzer will sound.
3.8. Reset Data
Using a pointed tool, press Reset key to restart the device. Data stored in the internal memory is not
lost.

After the device search is finished, All the devices which are scanned would be displayed in the list.
Select the device you want to connect then window will be appeared and ask you to confirm connect
