ANTENNE INSTALLIEREN
Antenne mit dem Fuß in den vorgesehenen Adapter des Funkge-
rätes einschrauben bis sie fest sitzt.
STROMVERSORGUNG
B
Netzstecker mit Ladegerät und Stromanschluss verbinden.
Den Akku oder das komplette Funkgerät in das Ladegerät ein-
setzen. Stellen Sie sicher, dass der Akku korrekt mit dem
Ladegerät verbunden ist.
Die rote LED am Gerät zeigt den Beginn des Ladevor-
gangs an. Nach ca. 3 bis 4 Stunden geht die rote LED aus,
und die grüne LED beginnt zu leuchten. Nun ist der Lade-
vorgang abgeschlossen, und der Akku / das Funkgerät kann
aus dem Ladegerät entnommen werden.
Der Akku ist werkseitig nicht vollständig geladen. Vor dem
ersten Gebrauch den Akku vollständig aufladen. Den Ladevorgang ggf. mehrmals wiederholen.
Den Akku im Normalbetrieb erst aufladen, wenn die Ladekontrolllampe leuchtet.
AKKU EINSETZEN / ENTNEHMEN
Zum Entnehmen des Akkus die Arretierung in Richtung Bedien-
knöpfe drücken und den Akku nach oben herausziehen.
Zum Einsetzen den Akku an der Unterseite bündig ansetzen und
Arretierung einrasten lassen.

GÜRTELCLIP BEFESTIGEN
Den Gürtelclip in die am Gerät dafür vorgesehene Position
bringen und einrasten lassen. Zum Entfernen den Clipver-
schluss von der Batterie wegdrücken (am besten mit einem
Schraubendreher) und den Clip nach oben herausziehen.

DBEDIENUNG
GERÄT EINSCHALTEN (6)
Den AN-/AUS-Knopf im Uhrzeigersinn bis zum „klick“ drehen, um
das Gerät einzuschalten.
Das Gerät gibt ein Piepsignal, und der voreingestellte Kanal wird
angesagt.
Den AN-/AUS-Knopf entgegen dem Uhrzeigersinn bis zum „klick“
drehen, um das Gerät wieder auszuschalten.
LAUTSTÄRKE REGULIEREN (6)
Wenn das Gerät eingeschaltet ist, den AN-AUS-Knopf drehen, um
die Lautstärke zu regulieren.
KANAL AUSWÄHLEN (5)
Mit dem Kanalwahlknopf den gewünschten Kanal von 1 bis 16
einstellen. Der ausgewählte Kanal wird in Englischer Sprache
angesagt.
RUF SENDEN
Um einen Ruf zu senden, die Sprechtaste (PTT) gedrückt halten und
mit normaler Stimme und Lautstärke in das Mikrophon sprechen.
Dabei den Mund ca. 3 bis 8 cm vom Mikrophon entfernt halten.
TIME-OUT-TIMER-FUNKTION
Wenn die Sprechtaste (PTT) 60 Sek. ununterbrochen gedrückt wur-
de, ertönt ein Warnsignal, und die Übertragung wird automatisch
beendet. Den PTT-Knopf loslassen und erneut drücken, um mit der
Übertragung fortzufahren. Diese Funktion verhindert, dass Kanäle
zu lang blockiert werden.
EINGEHENDER RUF
Die Lautstärke auf die gewünschte Stärke einstellen. Die Sprech-
taste (PTT) loslassen, um einen eingehenden Ruf anzunehmen.

Ausschaltung der automatischen Rauschunterdrückung, um Hintergrundgeräusche sowie schwache
Signale auf dem Kanal hörbar zu machen:
- Sie vermeiden das Senden eines Rufes, wenn andereTeilnehmer denselben Kanal verwenden.
- Sie können die Lautstärke regulieren, ohne auf einen eingehenden Ruf warten zu müssen.
- Wenn Sie einen Ruf mit einem schwachen Signal empfangen, vermeiden Sie Rufunterbrechungen.
Taste loslassen, um die automatische Rauschunterdrückung wieder zu aktivieren.

NOTRUFTASTE (4)

LED-ANZEIGE (7)
Die rote LED zeigt an, dass ein Ruf gesendet wird.
Die grüne LED zeigt an, dass ein Ruf empfangen wird.
Die blinkende rote LED zeigt an, dass die Akkuleistung nachlässt.

Um das optionale Programmierkit anzuschliessen, Abdeckung über den Anschlüssen öffnen.

SICHERHEITSHINWEISE

BESTIMMUNGSGEMÄSSE VERWENDUNG
PMR-Handfunkgerät zum Senden und Empfangen von Rufen auf eine Distanz von bis zu 5 km.
UMGANG UND PFLEGE
Elektronische Geräte generell sorgsam behandeln. Nach Benutzung mit weichem Tuch reinigen (ggfs.
Tuch in etwas Wasser tränken).
ELEKTROMAGNETISCHE VERTRÄGLICHKEIT
Es kann nicht generell ausgeschlossen werden, dass das Gerät andere Geräte stört (z.B. Navigationsein-
richtungen); durch andere Geräte gestört wird (z.B. elektromagnetische Strahlung bei erhöhter Feldstär-
ke z.B. in der unmittelbaren Nähe von Industrieanlagen oder Rundfunksendern).
CE-KONFORMITÄT
Das Gerät hat das CE-Zeichen gemäß den Normen EN 60950-1 + A11 + A1, EN 301 489-1 / -5,
EN 300 296-1 / -2, EN 300 086-1 / -5.
GARANTIE
Die Garantiezeit beträgt zwei (2) Jahre, beginnend mit dem Verkaufsdatum. Die Garantie erstreckt sich
nur auf Mängel wie Material-oder Herstellungsfehler, sowie die Nichterfüllung zugesicherter Eigenschaf-
ten. Ein Garantieanspruch besteht nur bei bestimmungsgemäßer Verwendung. Mechanischer Verschleiß
und äußerliche Zerstörung durch Gewaltanwendung und Sturz unterliegen nicht der Garantie. Der Garan-
tieanspruch erlischt, wenn das Gehäuse geöffnet wurde. Der Hersteller behält sich vor, im Garantiefall
die schadhaftenTeile instand zusetzen bzw. das Gerät gegen ein gleiches oder ähnliches (mit gleichen
technischen Daten) auszutauschen. Ebenso gilt das Auslaufen der Batterie nicht als Garantiefall.

BPOWER SUPPLY
MOUNT THE ANTENNA
Screw the antenna with its base into the corresponding adapter.
Take care that the antenna is well fixed.
Connect the power plug with the charger and the socket.
Place the rechargeable battery only or the entire unit into the
charger. Take care that the battery is connected correctly to
the charger.
The red LED at the unit shows the start of the charging
process. After approx. 3 to 4 hours the red LED stops
flashing and the green LED begins to flash. Now the
charging process is completed and the battery / unit
can be taken off the charger.
The battery has not been fully charged from the factory. Before
first use the battery must be fully charged. If necessary repeat the
charging process several times.
In normal use do not recharge the battery if it has been fully charged or if the unit is not in low battery
alarm state.
INSERT /TAKE OFFTHE BATTERY
To remove the battery push the battery lock upwards and pull the
battery out.
To install the battery match the two pins at the bottom of the
battery with the corresponding slots at the bottom of the unit
and press the top of the battery towards the unit until you hear
a "click".

MOUNTTHE BELT CLIP
Align the grooves of the belt clip with those of the rear of
the battery and press until you hear a "click".
To remove the clip use a screw driver and press the clip lock
away from the battery and slide the clip upwards.

OPERATION

POWER ON THE UNIT (6)
Turn the ON/OFF knob clockwise until the "click" to power on the
unit.
A beep will sound for confirmation and the channel that has been
used last is annunciated.
Turn the ON/OFF knob counter-clockwise until the "click" to power
off the unit.
VOLUME ADJUSTMENT (6)
When the unit is powered on turn the ON/OFF knob to adjust the
volume.
CHANNEL SELECTION (5)
Select a channel from 1 to 16 with the channel selection knob. The
selected channel is annunciated in English language.
MAKE A CALL
To make a call press and hold the PTT button and speak into the
microphone with normal voice.
Keep your mouth about 3 to 8 cm away from the microphone.
TIME-OUT-TIMER FUNCTION
When the PTT button has been used continuously for longer than
60 sec. a warning beep will sound and the transmission will be
stopped automatically. Release the PTT button and press it again to
continue the transmission.
This function prevents the user from blocking channels for too long.
RECEIVE A CALL
Adjust the volume as requested. Release the PTT button to receive
a call.

For monitoring the transmission and weak signals on the channel open the squelch:
- Avoids making calls on a channel that is already used by others.
- The volume can be adjusted without the necessity of waiting for incoming calls.
- To avoid interruptions when receiving calls with a weak signal.
Release the button to re-activate the automatic squelch function.

EMERGENCY BUTTON (4)
Press and hold the button to activate a warning tone signalizing a danger.
Release the button to quit the emergency mode.
Whilst the use of the emergency button all other functions are disabled!
LED INDICATION (7)
The red LED indicates that a call is being made.
The green LED indicates that a call is being received.
The blinking red LED indicates that the battery power is low.

To connect the programming kit open the cover of the ports.

INTENDED USE OF INSTRUMENT
PMR two-way radio for sending and receiving calls over a distance of up to 5 km.
CARE AND CLEANING
Handle electronic instruments with care. Clean with a soft cloth only after any use. If necessary damp
the cloth with some water.
SPECIFIC REASONS FOR ERRONEOUS MEASURING RESULTS
Measurements through glass or plastic windows; dirty laser emitting windows; after the instrument has
been dropped or hit. Please check the accuracy.
Large fluctuation of temperature: If the instrument will be used in cold areas after it has been stored in
warm areas (or the other way round) please wait some minutes before carrying out measurements.
ELECTROMAGNETIC ACCEPTABILITY (EMC)
It cannot be completely excluded that this instrument will disturb other instruments (e.g. navigation sys-
tems); will be disturbed by other instruments (e.g. intensive electromagnetic radiation nearby industrial
facilities or radio transmitters).
CE-CONFORMITY
This instrument has the CE mark according to EN 60950-1 + A11 + A1, EN 301 489-1 / -5,
EN 300 296-1 / -2, EN 300 086-1 / -5.
WARRANTY
This product is warranted by the manufacturer to the original purchaser to be free from defects in
material and workmanship under normal use for a period of two (2) years from the date of purchase.
During the warranty period, and upon proof of purchase, the product will be repaired or replaced (with
the same or similar model at manufacturers option), without charge for either parts or labour. In case
of a defect please contact the dealer where you originally purchased this product. The warranty will not
apply to this product if it has been misused, abused or altered. Without limiting the foregoing, leakage
of the battery, bending or dropping the unit are presumed to be defects resulting from misuse or abuse.

BALIMENTATION EN COURANT
INSTALLATION DE L'ANTENNE
Connectez le pied de l'antenne avec l'adaptateur prévu du
Talkie-Walkie.
Connectez l'adaptateur avec le chargeur et la prise de courant.
Faites glisser l'accu ou tout l'instrument dans le logement
de chargement. Veillez à ce que l'accu soit correctement
connecté avec le chargeur.
Le voyant LED rouge indique que le chargement commence.
Après environ 3 à 4 h le voyant LED vert s'allume et indique
que le chargement est terminé. L'accu / l'instrument peut
être enlevé du chargeur.
L'accu n'est pas chargé à l'usine. Chargez-le avant la première

Pour retirer l'accu appuyez sur la fermeture de l'accu en direction
des boutons de réglage et retirez l'accu.
Alignez l'accu avec l'arrière du Talkie-Walkie et appuyez sur l'accu
jusqu'à ce que la fermeture soit enclenchée.
