1. Read this manual carefully until you completely understand
and can follow all safety notes, precautions, and operating
instructions before using of the unit.
2. Do not operate this tool when you are tired, ill, or under the
influence of alchohol, drugs, or medication.
3. Always wear eye or face protection and hearing protection.
4. Do not wear loose clothing, jewelry, short trousers,
sandals, or go barefoot. Do not wear anything which might
be caught by branches or moving part of the unit. Secure
hair so it is above shoulder length.
5. Never start or run the engine inside a closed room or
building. Exhaust gases contain dangerous carbon
monoxide.
6. Before starting the engine, inspect the entire unit for loose
fasteners and fuel leakage. Make sure that the cutting
attachment is properly installed and securely fastened.
7. Be sure the blade guard is attached in place.
8. Fuel is highly flammable. Always keep open flames and
sparks away from the unit and fuel depot. Do not smoke
while refueling the unit or mixing fuel.
9. When refueling the unit, make sure to stop the engine and
allow it to cool down. Wipe spilled fuel completely from the
unit. Move at least 3 meters away from fueling site before
starting the engine.
10.Check the condition of working area to avoid any accident
by hitting hidden obstacles such as stumps, stones, cans,
or broken grass.
11.Keep bystanders and animals at least 15 meters away from
the operating point, If you are approached, immediately
stop the engine.
12.Keep firm footholds and balance at all times. Do not use

6. Antes de arrancar el motor, inspeccione la unidad para
observar que no existen fugas de combustible y que los
sujetadores o cierres no estén flojos. Asegúrese de que el
utensilio de corte se encuentre correctamente instalado y
bien asegurado.
7. Asegúrese de que la protección de la cuchilla se encuentre
en su lugar.
8. El combustible es altamente inflamable. Siempre mantenga
las flamas abiertas y las chispas lejos de la unidad y del
depósito de combustible. No fume mientras llena la unidad
de combustible o al mezclar el combustible.

13.Keep cutting attachment below waist level.
14.Keep all parts of your body away from the rotating cutting
attachment and hot surfaces.
15.Warn the operator of the danger of blade thrust. (Kick
back)
Blade thrust may occur when the spinning blade contacts a
solid object in the critical area. A dangerous reaction may
occur causing the entire unit and operator to be thrust
violently. This reaction is called Kick back. As a result, the
operator can lose control of the unit which can cause
serious or fatal injury. Kick back is more likely to occur in
areas where it is difficult to see the material to be cut.
16.When inspecting or servicing the unit, make sure to stop
the engine and disconnect the spark plug as necessary.
17.Cover the blade when the transporting or storing the unit.
Secure the unit before for storage or transporting to
prevent loss of fuel, damage or injury.
18.When replacing cutting attachment or other components,
be sure to use the parts supplied or recommended by
Husqvarna Zenoah.
19.When the unit is turned off, make sure the cutting
attachment has stopped before the unit is set down.
20.For units equipped with a clutch, be sure the cutting
attachment stops turning when the engine idles.
21.Use only for tasks explained in the instruction handbook.
22.Discard blades that are bent, warped, cracked, broken or
damaged in any way.
23.Instructions on stopping a coasting blade.
A blade can injure while it continues to spin after the
engine is stopped or throttle control is released.
24.Stop the engine and blade before removing material that is
blocking or entangling the cutting attachment.
25.Use a sharp blade. A dull blade is more likely to snag and
thrust. Replace the fastening nut according to the
manufacturer's instruction.
26.Cut only material recommended by the manufacturer. Do
not let the blade contact material it cannot cut, such as
rocks, metal etc.
27.Always wear safety boots, additionally a helmet is required
if there is a risk of contact with falling objects.

La cuchilla podría regresarse cuando el filo entra en

reacción peligrosa podría ocurrir ocasionando que la
unidad por completo se tire violentamente. Esta reacción
es llamada contragolpe. Como resultado, el operador
puede perder el control de la unidad la cual puede causar
lesiones serias o fatales. El contragolpe ocurre
comúnmente en áreas donde es difícil ver el material que
se está cortando.
16.Al inspeccionar o darle mantenimiento a la unidad,
asegúrese de detener el motor y desconecte la bujía si es
necesario.
17.Cubra la cuchilla al transportarla o almacenarla. Asegure la
unidad antes de almacenarla o transportarla para prevenir
pérdidas de combustible, daños o lesiones.
18.Al sustituir los utensilios de corte o cualquier otro
componente, asegúrese de utilizar las piezas suministradas
o recomendadas por Husqvarna Zenoah.
19.Al apagar la unidad, asegúrese de que el utensilio de corte
se haya detenido antes de que deje la unidad.
20.Para las unidades equipadas con embrague, asegúrese de
que el utensilio de corte se detenga al poner el motor en

No ponga la cuchilla en contacto con materiales que no
puedan cortarse, tales como, rocas, metales, etc.
27.Siempre utilice botas de seguridad, adicionalmente se
requiere un casco si es que existe riesgo de contacto con
objetos que pudieran caer.

3. Setup 3. Montaje
■ENGINE
Using attached 4 socket screws, secure
the connection firmly with equal force.
■HANDLE
1. Remove the upper cap from the
bracket.
2. Loosen the 4 bolts on the clamp and
insert the handles equally. Retighten
the bolts.
3. Put the handle assembly into the
bracket and put the upper cap over
it. Tighten the cap securely.
■CONNECTING THROTTLE WIRE
1. Remove the air cleaner cover.
2. Connect the end of the throttle wire
to the joint on the top of the
carburetor.
■PROTECTOR
Wrap the protector around the outer
pipe as shown in the figure, and fasten
the magic fastener.
■BLADE GUARD
Attach the guard on the outer pipe. Fix it
with 2 bolts.
■BLADE
1. Put the angled bar(1) into the side
holes of the inner holder and the
gearcase.
2. Remove the nut (Lefthanded) and
the outer holder(3) from the
gearshaft.
3. Put the blade onto the inner
holder(2). Make the marked side face
the holder.
4. Put the outer holder(3) onto the
gearshaft making the recessed side
face the blade.
5. Fasten the blade by the nut and the
cover(4).
[Tightening torque]
14.7 to 19.6 N·m (150 to 200 kg·cm)
■MOTOR
Utilizando los 4 tornillos insertados,
asegure la conexión firmemente con la
misma fuerza.
■MANGO
1. Retire la tapa superior del soporte.
2. Afloje los 4 tornillos de la abrazadera
e inserte los mangos
uniformemente. Apriete los tornillos.
3. Coloque el ensamble del mango en el
soporte y coloque la tapa superior
sobre éste. Apriete la tapa
firmemente.
■CONEXIÓN DEL ALAMBRE DEL
ACELERADOR
1. Retire la cubierta del filtro de aire.
2. Conecte el extremo del alambre del
acelerador a la junta situada en la
parte superior del carburador.
■PROTECTOR
Envuelva el protector alrededor del tubo
como se muestra en la figura y apriete
el sujetador.
■PROTECTOR DEL UTENCILIO DE
CORTE
Coloque el protector en el tubo externo.
Fíjelo con 2 tornillos.
■CUCHILLA
1. Coloque la barra angulada (1) en los
orificios laterales del soporte interior
y la caja de engranajes.
2. Retire la tuerca (a mano izquierda) y
el soporte exterior (3) del eje.
3. Coloque la cuchilla en el soporte
interior (2). Haga que la cara lateral
marcada se encuentre de frente con
el soporte.
4. Coloque el soporte exterior (3) en el
eje de engranajes haciendo que la
cara lateral cóncava se encuentre de
frente a la cuchilla.
5. Apriete la cuchilla con la tuerca y la
tapa (4).

•Keep open flames away from the
area where fuel is handled or
stored.
•Mix and store fuel only in an
approved gasoline container.
Mix a regular grade gasoline (leaded or
unleaded, alcohol-free) and a quality-
proven motor oil for air cooled 2 cycle
engines.

Most engine troubles are caused,
directly or indirectly, by the fuel used on
the machine. Take special care not to
mix a motor oil for 4 cycle engines.
NOTE
WARNING
•Evite llamas vivas en lugares en
que se maneje o almacene
combustible.
•Mezcle y almacene el combustible
sólo en recipientes para
combustible aprobados.
Mezcle gasolina de grano regular (con o
sin contenido de plomo, sin alcohol) y
aceite para motores de dos tiempos
refrigerados por aire de conocida

La mayor parte de los problemas de los
motores son causados de manera
