PreparingYourComputer
Themotherboardcontainsnumerousdelicateelectroniccircuitsandcomponentswhichcanbecome
damaged asa result of electrostaticdischarge(ESD).Thus,prior to installation,pleasefollowthe
instructionsbelow:
1.Pleaseturnoffthecomputerandunplugitspowercord.
2.Whenhandlingthemotherboard,avoidtouchinganymetalleadsorconnectors.
3. It isbesttowearanelectrostaticdischarge(ESD)cuffwhenhandlingelectroniccomponents
(CPU,RAM).
4.Priortoinstallingtheelectroniccomponents,pleasehavetheseitemsontopofanantistaticpad or
within a electrostaticshieldingcontainer.
5.Pleaseverifythatthepowersupplyisswitchedoffbeforeunpluggingthepowersupplyconnector
fromthemotherboard.

1.PleasemakesurethatthemotherboardsupportstheCPU.
2.PleasetakenoteoftheoneindentedcorneroftheCPU.IfyouinstalltheCPUinthewrong
direction,theCPUwillnotinsertproperly.Ifthisoccurs,pleasechangetheinsertdirection
oftheCPU.
3.PleaseaddanevenlayerofheatsinkpastebetweentheCPUandCPUcooler.
4.PleasemakesuretheCPUcoolerisinstalledontheCPUpriortosystemuse,
otherwiseoverheatingandpermanentdamageoftheCPUmayoccur.
5.PleasesettheCPUhostfrequencyinaccordancewiththeprocessorspecifications.It

1.Pleasemakesurethatthememoryusedissupportedbythemotherboard.Itis
recommendedthatmemoryofsimilarcapacity,specificationsandbrandbeused.
2.Beforeinstallingorremovingmemorymodules,pleasemakesurethatthecomputer
powerisswitchedofftopreventhardwaredamage.
3.Memorymoduleshavea foolproofinsertiondesign.A memorymodulecanbeinstalled
inonlyonedirection.Ifyouareunabletoinsertthemodule,pleaseswitchthedirection.
ThemotherboardsupportsDDR2memorymodules,wherebyBIOSwillautomaticallydetectmemory
capacityandspecifications.Memorymodulesaredesignedsothattheycanbeinsertedonlyinonedirection.
