• Se l’apparecchio presenta danni visibili, evitare di metterlo in funzione.

Conservare e impiegare l’apparecchio lontano dalla portata dei bambini.
Sorvegliare i bambini per evitare che giochino con l’apparecchio.
• Collegare l’apparecchio solo nel seguente modo:
- tramite cavo 230Vac alla rete domestica di corrente alternata (ove previsto).
- tramite cavo 12Vdc alla presa accendisigari dell’autovettura.
• Non estrarre mai la spina dall’accendisigari o dalla presa domestica tirando il cavo di allacciamento.
• Se il cavo di allacciamento è danneggiato, deve essere sostituito con un cavo dello stesso tipo e con le stesse
specifiche. Non toccare mai i cavi nudi a mani nude, soprattutto per il funzionamento con rete di alimentazione in
corrente alternata:

• Staccare il cavo di allacciamento prima della pulizia e dopo ogni utilizzo.
• Confrontare i dati della tensione riportati sulla targhetta con quelli delle prese e degli attacchi disponibili.
• Prima della messa in funzione assicurarsi che la linea di alimentazione e la spina siano asciutte.
• Non utilizzare in zone troppo polverose. La polvere potrebbe ostruire i condotti di aerazione danneggiando il
frigorifero.
Attenzione: pericolo di surriscaldamento!
Assicurarsi che il calore generato durante il funzionamento sfiati sufficientemente. Assicurarsi che la distanza fra
l’apparecchio e le pareti o altri oggetti permetta all’aria di circolare liberamente (almeno 30 cm).
• Non versare nessun tipo di liquido o ghiaccio nel contenitore interno.
• Non immergere mai l’apparecchio in acqua.
• Proteggere l’apparecchio e i cavi dal caldo e dall’umidità.
• Per evitare surriscaldamento o malfunzionamento, assicurarsi che lo spinotto abbia un buon contatto elettrico
nella presa dell’auto.
• Dopo l’utilizzo, non toccare la punta metallica dello spinotto, in quanto puó raggiungere temperature elevate.

5 FUNZIONAMENTO
•Collegamento alla presa accendisigari 12Vdc
- Estrarre o collegare il cavo 12Vdc al coperchio dell’apparecchio (a seconda del modello)
- Inserire il carplug (fig.1) nella presa accendisigari
•Collegamento alla rete di alimentazione domestica in corrente alternata 230Vac (nei modelli dove previsto)
- Collegare il cavo 230Vac al coperchio dell’apparecchio
- Inserire la spina (fig.2) nella presa di corrente alternata
• Per motivi igienici, ogni volta che si utilizza il frigorifero, pulire l’interno e l’esterno con un panno umido.
• Si consiglia di inserire all’interno del frigorifero elettrico cibi e bevande precedentemente raffreddati.
• Lasciare raffreddare i cibi caldi prima di immagazzinarli nell’apparecchio.
• Collocare il frigo su una base stabile.
• Il frigorifero deve essere aperto il minor numero di volte possibile e subito richiuso, per mantenere all’interno una temperatura
costante.
• Anche a frigorifero spento, grazie allo speciale isolamento, i cibi e le bevande verranno mantenuti freschi a lungo. Per
potenziare e prolungare nel tempo l’effetto refrigerante, si consiglia l’impiego di accumulatori di freddo originali Gio’Style
(vedere tabella accessori).

Collegare SEMPRE lo spinotto nel giusto verso
Attenzione!
Per i modelli a doppia alimentazione: non collegare MAI contemporaneamente il cavo di alimentazione 12Vdc ed il cavo di
alimentazione 230Vac.
• Una volta collegato alla fonte energetica il frigorifero inizia subito a funzionare. Il frigorifero elettrico puó
raffreddare e mantenere freddi gli alimenti.
• Per spegnere il frigorifero scollegare semplicemente il cavo di alimentazione.
• Le performance del frigorifero sono riportate nelle tabelle relative ad ogni singolo prodotto (vedere sezione:
TESTS), dove ad ogni valore di temperatura esterna corrisponde una temperatura interna media. I dati sono
riferiti al frigorifero vuoto, dopo un funzionamento di 180 min. I dati riportati nelle tabelle possono subire variazioni
in difetto o in eccesso di circa 1,5°C.
• Attenzione!
Per la salvaguardia della batteria di quelle auto che una volta spente continuano ad alimentare il frigorifero (escluso
i modelli ove previsto in dotazione) si consiglia di utilizzare il Power battery controller (vedi tabella accessori).
• Nota!
Il modello SHIVER 40 è provvisto di sistema Battery Saver e display per la lettura della temperatura interna.
(Vedere indicazioni al paragrafo 5-B).
• Attenzione!
Qualora si debbano raffreddare medicinali, controllare che l’apparecchio disponga di una potenza frigorifera in
grado di soddisfare i requisiti dei rispettivi farmaci (vedere tabella prestazioni ).
• Attenzione!
L’apparecchio è adatto a mantenere freddi cibi e bevande nei loro contenitori d’origine.
Non utilizzare il prodotto per periodi superiori alle 36h di funzionamento continuo.
Un utilizzo prolungato e continuativo può ridurre le prestazioni o danneggiare il sistema refrigerante.
Una volta spento il frigorifero, attendere almeno 2 ore prima di rimetterlo in funzione.
• Attenzione!
Dopo un lungo periodo di funzionamento, è possibile che si depositi acqua all’interno del frigorifero. Questo è
normale poiché l’umidità dell’aria, raffreddandosi, si condensa.
Il frigorifero non è guasto. Se necessario, eliminare l’eccessiva umidità con un panno asciutto.
• Nota!
Il raffreddamento avviene mediante sistema refrigerante Peltier privo di CFC e di liquidi refrigeranti.

6 PULIZIA E MANUTENZIONE
• Attenzione!
Prima di effettuare la pulizia del frigorifero elettrico scollegare il cavo di allacciamento dalla presa di rete o dalla
presa dell’accendisigari.
• Attenzione!
Non immergere mai il frigorifero sotto acqua corrente.
• Per la pulizia non impiegare detergenti corrosivi oppure oggetti ruvidi.
• Pulire di tanto in tanto l’interno e l’esterno del frigorifero con un panno umido.
• Proteggere il coperchio refrigerante dalla penetrazione di liquidi, sabbia o polvere.
7 PROBLEMI E SOLUZIONI
Il frigorifero non funziona e la ventola non
gira (se collegato alla presa accendisigari).

In molti autoveicoli occorre accendere il
quadro comandi per far funzionare
l’accendisigari.
Il fusibile della spina accendisigari è
bruciato.
L’alimentatore integrato è guasto.
Il modulo termoelettrico (Peltier) è guasto.
Sostituire il fusibile (fig.3) con uno uguale.
Leggere sul fusibile i dati tecnici.
Il fusibile del veicolo è bruciato.
Il cavo di alimentazione della corrente
alternata è guasto.
Sostituire il fusibile osservando il manuale
d’uso dell’autoveicolo.
Sostituire il cavo con uno nuovo originale.
La ventola raffreddante è guasta. Contattare il servizio clienti (vedi par.
Garanzia).
Contattare il servizio clienti (vedi par.

Controllare le feritoie di areazione sia
interne che esterne. Spostare il frigorifero
in un luogo dove possa essere
maggiormente areato.
Scollegare il frigorifero, quindi asciugare
l’acqua in eccesso con un panno.

8 GARANZIA
9 SMALTIMENTO
• Il frigorifero è garantito per 24 mesi a partire dal giorno di acquisto contro difetti di fabbricazione che non siano attribuibili ad un
uso non appropriato.
• Qualora il prodotto risultasse difettoso, La preghiamo di rivolgersi al servizio consumatori Gio’style sul sito:
www.giostyle.com, oppure contattare il distributore più vicino (vedi elenco sul retro del manuale).
• Perché siano valide le condizioni di garanzia è necessario essere in possesso della seguente documentazione:
- una copia della fattura con la data di acquisto del prodotto.
- un motivo su cui fondare il reclamo, oppure la descrizione del guasto.
Smaltire i materiali d’imballaggio negli appositi contenitori, senza disperderli nell’ambiente.
Quando l’apparecchio viene messo fuori uso definitivamente, informarsi al centro di riciclaggio piú vicino, oppure
presso il proprio rivenditore specializzato, sulle prescrizioni adeguate riguardanti lo smaltimento.
Gio’Style Lifestyle S.p.A. aderisce a Consorzio Remedia per adempiere agli obblighi operativi e finanziari
posti a carico dal Dlgs 151/05, trasporto, reimpiego, trattamento, recupero, riciclaggio e smaltimento dei
RAEE domestici.
Sistema collettivo per la gestione dei RAEE (Rifiuti di Apparecchiature Elettriche ed Elettroniche), costituito da
aziende che producono e/o commercializzano apparecchiature elettriche ed elettroniche di tipologie e funzionalità

2 SAFETY WARNINGS
• Do not operate the appliance if it is visibly damaged.
• Carefully clean the inside of the box before use.
• Do not place the appliance near naked flames or other heat sources, nor dip it into water.
• Avoid covering the ventilation vents.
• This appliance may only be repaired by qualified personnel. Improper repairs can lead to considerable
hazards (please read § “Guarantee”).
• We suggest you store your food products in the original packaging or in suitable food trays.
• The appliance is not suitable to store corrosive materials or substances containing solvents.
• Electrical appliances are not toys!
Keep and use the appliance out of reach of children.
Children must not be left unattended when using the appliance.
• The appliance shall only be connected as instructed below:
- use a 230Vac cable for connection to AC household mains outlet (where provided).
- use a 12Vdc cable for connection to your vehicle cigarette-lighter socket.
•Never unplug the appliance from the cigarette-lighter socket or the household mains socket by pulling the power
cable.
•If the connection cable is damaged, it must be replaced with a new one of the same type and sharing the same
specifications. Do not touch exposed cables with your bare hands. This especially applies when operating the
appliance on an AC mains:
Caution: Danger of fatal injury!
•Always disconnect the power cable before cleaning and after use.
•Always compare the voltage data provided on the rating plate with that of the available sockets and outlets.
•Before operating the electrobox, always ensure that the power supply line and the plug are dry.
•Do not operate the device in excessively dusty places. Dust is likely to obstruct the air ducts and bring damages to
the coolbox.
Caution: Danger of overheating!
• Check that any heat produced during operation is adequately given off. Ensure that the distance between the
appliance and the walls or other objects allows a free circulation of air (30 cm at least).

3 CONNECTIONS
4 USE
•Connection to 12Vdc cigarette lighter socket
- Pull out or connect the 12Vdc cable to the device lid (as a function of the model)
- Plug the car plug (fig.1) into the cigarette lighter socket
•Connection to AC 230Vac household power supply mains (in models provided with this option)
- Connect the 230Vac cable to the coolbox lid
- Plug the power cable (fig.2) into the alternating current socket
• For health-related reasons, always clean the appliance inside and outside with a wet cloth any time you use the coolbox.
• Always store previously cooled food and drinks in the coolbox.
• Let warm food cool down before storing them in the coolbox.
• Connect the device on a stable base.
Caution!
Ensure you ALWAYS plug in the power cable from the correct side.
Caution!
For models where a dual power supply mode is provided: NEVER connect the 12 Vdc and the 230 Vac cables at the same
time.
• Do not pour any liquid or ice into the inner box.
• Never place the appliance in water.
• Protect the device and all wires from heat and humidity.
• To avoid overheating or malfunction, ensure the plug fits into the vehicle cigarette-lighter socket to make proper
electrical contact.
• Do not touch the metal end of the plug after use, as it may be very hot and cause burns.
• The coolbox must be opened as little as possible, and it must be reclosed in the shortest time so that a constant temperature
can be held inside.
• The special insulation allows food and drinks to remain fresh for a long time even when the coolbox is off. To maximize and
extend the cooling effect over time, we suggest you use the ice packs (seeACCESSORIES).
• Caution!
In cases when medications need to be cooled, please ensure the device has a cooling power rating that suits the
requirements of all medications (see table of performance).
• Caution!
The device is suitable to keep cool food and drinks in their original packaging.
Never use the product for more than 36 hours of continuous operation.
Prolonged and continuous use may reduce performance or even damage the cooling system.
Once the coolbox is off, wait at least 2 hours before turning it on again.
• Caution!
After a long period of operation, water may form and accumulate at the bottom of the coolbox. This is normal, as air
humidity condenses during the cooling process. This means the coolbox is not broken.
If necessary, remove excess humidity with a wet cloth.
• Caution!
The cooling is produced by a Peltier cooling system that does not contain CFC or coolants.
5 OPERATION
• Once connected to the power source, the coolbox soon starts operating. The electrobox is designed to cool down
food and keep it fresh.
• Switch off the coolbox by simply disconnecting the power cable.
• The coolbox performance values are listed in the tables referring to the various product types (see section:
TESTS). In these tables, each external temperature value matches an average internal temperature value. This
data refers to an empty coolbox, after 180 minutes of operation, and may vary above or below 1.5°C.

• Caution!
We recommend the use of the Power battery controller (expect for models which have it included in the supply)
(see table of accessories) to protect the batteries of cars that keep on feeding the coolbox with power even after the
engine has been turned off.
• Remark!
The SHIVER 40 model is equipped with a Battery Saver system and a display unit that measures the internal tem-
perature of the coolbox.
(Please read paragraph 5-B below).
6 CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE
• Warning!
Before cleaning the electrobox, disconnect the power cable from the mains socket or the cigarette lighter socket.
• Caution!
Never clean the appliance under running water.
• Do not use corrosive detergents or rough objects for cleaning purposes.
• Clean the coolbox inside and outside from time to time with a wet cloth.
• Protect the cooling lid from penetrating liquids, sand or dust.
7 TROUBLE-SHOOTING
The electrobox does not work and the
cooling fun does not turn (if connected to
the cigarette lighter socket).

In many motor vehicles, switching on
the dashboard is required to operate the
cigarette lighter.
The cigarette lighter socket fuse is blown.
The built-in power feeder is faulty.
The thermoelectric module is faulty
(Peltier).
Replace the fuse (fig.3) with another one
equal in type. Read the technical rating
printed on the fuse.
The vehicle fuse is blown.
The AC power cable is faulty.
Replace the fuse according to the instruc-
tions provided by the vehicle user’s manual.
Replace the cable with a new original one.
The cooling fan is broken. Contact our customer service (see §
Guarantee).

8 GUARANTEE
• The coolbox is under guarantee for 24 months from the purchase date against manufacturing defects that do not depend on
improper use.
• If the product turns out to be defective, please address Gio’Style Consumer Service on website: www.giostyle.com, or
contact the nearest distributor (see list on the back cover of this handbook).
• The guarantee conditions only apply if the following documents are available:
- a copy of the invoice bearing the product purchase date.
- a sound reason for complaint or fault description.

9 DISPOSAL
Dispose of packing materials by using the special containers, without scattering them freely.
When the appliance is ultimately scrapped, please enquire on the location of the nearest recycling point, or ask
your specialized dealer for appropriate instructions for disposal.
Collective WEEE management system (Waste of Electrical and Electronic Equipment), composed of companies
that manufacture and/or trade electrical and electronic equipment of various types and functionalities.
Lgs. Decree 151/05 states that all costs related to WEEE collection and treatment are to be charged to manufactu-
rers who, via the collective system they have joined, will fulfil the provisions provided by the Law in this context.

• Brancher l’appareil seulement d’après les instructions suivantes:
- par l’intermédiaire d’un câble 230Vac au réseau domestique de courant alternatif (s’il y a lieu).
- par l’intermédiaire d’un câble 12Vdc à la prise allume-cigares de la voiture.
• Ne jamais extraire la fiche de la prise allume-cigares en tirant le câble de branchement.
• Si le câble de branchement est endommagé, il faut le remplacer par un autre du même type et aux mêmes
caractéristiques
• Ne jamais toucher les câbles sans gaine avec les mains nues, surtout pour la marche avec un réseau d’alimenta-
tion en courant alternatif:

• Débrancher le câble de branchement avant le nettoyage et après chaque emploi.
• Comparer les données de tension imprimées sur la plaquette avec celles des prises et des points de branche-
ment disponibles.
• Avant la mise en marche, s’assurer que la ligne d’alimentation et la fiche ne soient pas mouillées.
• Ne pas utiliser l’appareil dans des endroits trop poussiéreux. La poussière pourrait obstruer les conduites d’aéra-
tion et causer des dommages à la glacière.

S’assurer que la chaleur engendrée pendant la marche puisse s’échapper de manière suffisante. S’assurer que la
distance entre l’appareil et les parois ou d’autres objets permette à l’air de circuler librement (30 cm minimum).
• Ne pas verser aucun type de liquide ni mettre de la glace à l’intérieur de la glacière.
• Ne jamais plonger l’appareil dans l’eau.
• Protéger l’appareil et les câbles de la chaleur et de l’humidité.
• Pour éviter toute surchauffe ou défaillance, s’assurer que la fiche réalise un bon contact électrique dans la prise
du véhicule.
• Après l’emploi, ne pas toucher la pointe métallique de la fiche du câble d’alimentation, car elle est susceptible
d’atteindre des températures élevées.
• Gio’Style décline toute responsabilité pour les dommages résultant d’une utilisation imprévue ou
incorrecte de l’appareil.
3 BRANCHEMENTS
4 INDICATIONS D’EMPLOI
• Brancher à la prise allume-cigares 12Vdc
- Tirer ou brancher le câble 12Vdc au couvercle de l’appareil (selon le modèle)
- Insérer la broche pour véhicule (fig.1) à la prise allume-cigares
•Branchement au réseau l’alimentation domestique en courant alternatif 230Vac (dans les modèles pourvus
de cette caractéristique)
- Brancher le câble 230Vac au couvercle de l’appareil
- Insérer la fiche (fig.2) dans la prise de courant alternatif
• Pour des raisons hygiéniques, il est important de nettoyer l’intérieur et l’extérieur de la glacière à l’aide d’un chiffon humide
chaque fois qu’on utilise l’appareil.
• On conseille de conserver dans la glacière des aliments et des boissons refroidis au préalable.
• Laisser refroidir les aliments chauds avant de les stocker dans la glacière.
• Placer la glacière sur une base stable.
• Il faut que la glacière soit ouverte le moins possible, et une fous ouverte, qu’elle soit immédiatement refermée, pour garder la
température constante à son intérieur.
• Même lorsque la glacière est éteinte, grâce à l’isolation spéciale, les aliments et les boissons conserveront leur fraîcheur pen-
dant longtemps. Pour intensifier et prolonger l’effet réfrigérant au cours du temps, on conseille l’emploi des accumulateurs de
froid Gio’Style d’origine (voir la table accessoires).

Relier TOUJOURS la broche dans le sens correct.

Pour les modèles avec double alimentation: ne JAMAIS brancher le câble d’alimentation 12Vdc en même temps que le câble
d’alimentation 230Vac.

S’il faut refroidir des médicaments, contrôler que la puissance de réfrigération de l’appareil soit suffisante et en
mesure de répondre aux besoins de réfrigération de chaque médicament (voir le tableau des prestations).

L’appareil est conçu pour garder au froid aliments et boissons dans leurs emballages d’origine.
Ne pas utiliser le produit pendant des périodes prolongées dépassant les 36 heures de fonctionnement continu.
Une utilisation prolongée et continue serait susceptible de réduire les prestations ou d’endommager le système
réfrigérant. Une fois la glacière éteinte, attendre au moins 2 heures avant de la remettre en fonction.

• Attention!
Après une longue période de fonctionnement, de l’eau pourrait se former à l’intérieur de la glacière. Cela est nor-
mal, car l’humidité de l’air se condense pendant le refroidissement.
La glacière n’est pas en panne. Le cas échéant, enlever l’humidité en excès en s’aidant d’un chiffon sec.
• Remarquez!
Le refroidissement a lieu par l’intermédiaire d’un système réfrigérant Peltier sans CFC et sans agents
réfrigérants liquides.
5 FONCTIONNEMENT
• Une fois branchée à la source d’énergie, la glacière commencera immédiatement à marcher. La glacière
électrique peut refroidir et garder frais les aliments.
• Pour éteindre la glacière, il faut tout simplement débrancher le câble d’alimentation.
• Les prestations de la glacière sont illustrées aux tableaux concernant les différents types de produits (voir la
section: TESTS), où à chaque valeur de la température extérieure correspond une valeur de la température
intérieure moyenne. Les données sont référées à une glacière vide, après une période de marche de 180 minutes.
Les données listées dans les tableaux sont susceptibles de varier à défaut ou en excès de 1.5°C environ.
• Attention!
Pour sauvegarder la batterie des voitures qui, même à l’arrêt, continuent d’alimenter la glacière, on conseille d’uti-
liser le Power battery controller ou Contrôleur de batterie (voir les catalogue des accessoires) (à l’exception des
modèles ayant cet accessoire compris dans la fourniture)

Le modèle SHIVER 40 est pourvu d’un système de sauvegarde de la batterie (Battery Saver) avec visu pour la
lecture de la température intérieure (voir les indications du paragraphe 5-B).
6 NETTOYAGE ET ENTRETIEN
• Attention!
Avant toute opération de nettoyage de la glacière électrique, débrancher le câble d’alimentation de la prise de
réseau ou de la prise allume-cigares.
• Attention!
Ne jamais plonger la glacière dans l’eau courant.
• Ne pas utiliser de détergents corrosifs ni d’objets rêches pour le nettoyage.
• Nettoyer de temps en temps l’intérieur et l’extérieur de la glacière en s’aidant d’un chiffon humide.
• Protéger le couvercle réfrigérant de la pénétration des liquides, du sable ou de la poussière.
7 DEPANNAGE

8 GARANTIE
• La glacière est garantie pour 24 mois à partir de la date d’achat contre les défauts de fabrication n’étant pas attribuables à une
utilisation impropre.
• Au cas où le produit s’avérerait défectueux, veuillez contacter le service après-vente de Gio’style sur le site:
www.giostyle.com, ou bien contacter le distributeur le plus proche de vous (voir la liste au dos du manuel).
• Pour que les conditions de garantie soient applicables, il faut être en possession de la documentation suivante:
- une copie de la facture avec la date d’achat du produit.

9 EVACUATION
Évacuer les emballages dans les récipients à cet effet sans les disperser dans l’environnement.
Lorsque l’appareil est mis définitivement au rebut, veuillez vous informer au sujet du point de recyclage le plus
proche de vous, ou bien demander à son propre revendeur spécialisé quelles sont les instructions auxquelles il faut
se tenir pour l’évacuation.

des entreprises qui fabriquent et/ou commercialisent des équipements électriques et électroniques de types et
fonctionnalités différentes.

2 HINWEISE ZUR SICHERHEIT
• Bei sichtbaren Schäden das Gerät nicht in Betrieb nehmen.
• Vor Gebrauch den Innenraum gründlich reinigen.
• Die Kühlbox nicht in die Nähe von offenen Flammen oder direkten Wärmequellen positionieren oder in Wasser
tauchen.
• Die Lüftungsschlitze freihalten.
• Das Gerät darf nur durch einen Fachmann repariert werden. Unsachgemäße Reparaturen könnten zu schweren
Risiken führen (siehe Abschnitt Garantie).
• Es wird empfohlen, die Lebensmittel in ihrer Originalverpackung oder in geeigneten Behältern aufzubewahren.
• Die Kühlbox ist nicht für den Transport von ätzenden oder lösenden Mitteln geeignet.
• Haushaltsgeräte sind kein Spielzeug!
Das Gerät von Kindern entfernt aufbewahren und betreiben.
Vermeiden, dass Kinder mit dem Gerät spielen.
• Das Gerät nur folgendermaßen anschließen:
- per 230Vac-Kabel an das Wechselstromnetz (wo vorhanden).
- per 12Vdc-Kabel an den Zigarettenanzünder des Fahrzeugs.
• Den Stecker für den Zigarettenanzünder oder das Stromnetz niemals am Kabel herausziehen.
• Falls das Kabel beschädigt ist, muss es durch einen Kabel mit gleichen Eigenschaften ersetzt werden. Offen
liegende Kabel vor allem beim Wechselstromnetz niemals mit ungeschützten Händen berühren:

• Nach jedem Gebrauch und vor dem Reinigen das Stromkabel ausstecken.
• Die Spannungsdaten auf dem Typenschild mit denen der verfügbaren Steckdosen und Anschlüsse vergleichen.
• Vor Inbetriebnahme sicherstellen, dass die Stromleitung und der Stecker trocken sind.
• Nicht in staubiger Umgebung verwenden. Der Staub könnte die Lüftung beeinträchtigen und die Kühlbox be
schädigen.
Achtung: Überhitzungsgefahr!
Sicherstellen, dass die bei Betrieb entwickelte entstehende Wärme ausreichend abgeführt wird. Sicherstellen,
dass der Abstand zwischen dem Gerät und der Wand oder anderen Geräten ausreicht, um die Luft frei zirkulieren
zu lassen (mindestens 30 cm).
• Keine Flüssigkeiten oder Eis in den Behälter geben.
• Das Gerät niemals in Wasser tauchen.
• Das Gerät und die Kabel vor Hitze und Feuchtigkeit schützen.
• Zur Vermeidung von Überhitzung oder Fehlfunktion sicherstellen, dass der Stecker korrekt in der Steckdose des
Fahrzeugs sitzt.
• Nach Anwendung die Metallspitze des Steckers nicht berühren, da hohe Temperaturen erreicht werden können.
• Gio’Style übernimmt keine Verantwortung für Schäden, die auf eine unsachgemäße oder falsche
Verwendung zurückzuführen sind.
3 ANSCHLÜSSE

- Das 12Vcd-Kabel (je nach Modell) herausholen oder am Deckel anschließen
- Den Stecker (Abb.1) in den Zigarettenanzünder stecken

- Das 230Vac-Kabel am Gerätedeckel anschließen
- Den Stecker (Abb.2) in die Wechselstrom-Steckdose stecken

4 HINWEISE ZUR ANWENDUNG
• Aus hygienischen Gründen nach jeder Nutzung der Kühlbox den Außen- und Innenbereich mit einem feuchten Lappen
reinigen.
• Es wird empfohlen, bereits vorgekühlte Lebensmittel und Getränke in die Kühlbox zu geben.
• Heiße Lebensmittel zuerst abkühlen lassen.
• Das Gerät auf einem stabilen Untergrund stellen.
• Die Kühlbox so wenig wie möglich öffnen und schnell wieder schließen, um die Innentemperatur aufrecht zu erhalten.
• Auch bei abgeschalteter Kühlbox werden die Lebensmittel und Getränke dank der speziellen Isolierung lange kühl gehalten.
Um den Kühleffekt zu verstärken und zu verlängern wird empfohlen, Original-Kühlakkus von Gio’Style zu verwenden (siehe
Zubehörliste).
• Achtung!
Bei Kühlung von Arzneimitteln ist sicherzustellen, dass das Gerät über ausreichende Kühlleistung verfügt, um den
Anforderungen der jeweiligen Arzneimittel zu entsprechen (siehe Leistungstabelle).
• Achtung!
Das Gerät ist geeignet um Lebensmittel und Getränke in dessen Originalverpackung frisch zu halten.
Das Gerät darf ununterbrochen nicht länger als 36h betrieben werden.
Eine längere und durchgehende Nutzung kann die Leistung verringern oder das Kühlsystem beschädigen.
Nach Abschalten der Kühlbox mindestens 2 Stunden vor erneuter Inbetriebnahme warten.
• Achtung!
Nach längerem Betrieb kann sich in der Kühlbox Wasser ansammeln. Dies ist normal, da die in der Luft enthaltene
Feuchtigkeit bei Abkühlung kondensiert.
Die Kühlbox ist nicht beschädigt. Gegebenenfalls mit einem trockenen Lappen wischen.
• Hinweis!
Die Kühlung erfolgt per Peltier-Kühltechnik ohne CFC oder Kühlflüssigkeit.
5 FUNKTIONSWEISE
• Nach Anschluss an die Stromquelle wird das Gerät sofort in Betrieb gesetzt. Die elektrische Kühlbox kann Leben
smittel abkühlen und kühl halten.
• Zum Abschalten der Kühlbox das Stromkabel trennen.
• Die Kühlleistung ist in den Tabellen für jedes einzelne Produkt aufgeführt (sieheAbschnitt: TESTS), wo für jeden
Außentemperaturwert die durchschnittliche Innentemperatur angegeben ist. Die Angaben beziehen sich auf eine
leere Kühlbox nach 180 Betriebsminuten. Die angegebenen Daten können um ca. +/- 1,5°C abweichen.
• Achtung!
Zur Schonung von Batterien in Fahrzeugen, die auch bei abgeschaltetem Motor die Kühlbox weiter versorgen, wird
der Einsatz des Power Battery Controller empfohlen (siehe Zubehörliste, je nach Modell bereits enthalten).
• Hinweis!
Das Modell SHIVER 40 ist mit Battery Saver System und Display zur Anzeige der Innentemperatur ausgestattet.
(siehe Angaben in Kapitel 5-B).
6 PFLEGE UND WARTUNG
• Achtung!
Vor der Reinigung der Kühlbox das Stromkabel von der Steckdose des Stromnetzes oder dem Zigarettenanzünder
trennen.
• Achtung!
Die Kühlbox niemals unter fließendes Wasser halten.
• Zur Reinigung keine ätzenden Mittel oder rauen Gegenstände verwenden.
• Die Innen- und Außenseiten des Geräts ab und zu mit einem feuchten Lappen reinigen
• Den Kühldeckel vor dem Eindringen von Flüssigkeiten, Sand oder Staub schützen.

8 GARANTIE
• Die Kühlbox besitzt eine Garantie von 24 Monaten ab Kaufdatum für Herstellungsfehler, die nicht auf einen unsachgemäßen
Gebrauch zurückzuführen sind.
• Falls sich das Produkt als fehlerhaft erweist, wenden Sie sich bitte an den Kundendienst von Gio’style auf der Webseite:

• Für eine gültige Garantie sind folgende Unterlagen erforderlich:
- eine Kopie der Rechnung mit Kaufdatum des Produkts.
- ein Grund für die Beanstandung oder eine Fehlerbeschreibung.
9 ENTSORGUNG
Das Verpackungsmaterial in den dafür vorgesehenen Behältern entsorgen. Nicht in die Umwelt geraten lassen.
Bei endgültiger Außerbetriebnahme des Geräts ist sich für Informationen über eine korrekte Entsorgung an die
nächste Entsorgungsstelle oder an den Fachhändler zu wenden.
Gio’Style Lifestyle S.p.A. tritt dem Consorzio Remedia zur Erfüllung der operativen und finanziellen
Pflichten laut Legislativdekret 151/05 in Bezug auf Transport, Wiederverwendung, Aufbereitung, Wiederver-
wertung und Entsorgung von WEEE aus Haushalten bei.
Kollektivsystem zur Verwaltung von WEEE (Elektro- und Elektronikalt-/schrottgeräte), bestehend aus
Unternehmen, die Elektro- und Elektronikgeräte unterschiedlicher Typologie und Funktionalität herstellen und/oder
vertreiben.
Das Legislativdekret 151/05 legt fest, dass die Kosten zur Sammlung und Behandlung von WEEE zu Lasten der
Hersteller gehen, die durch ihre Mitgliedschaft im Kollektivsystem die in diesem Zusammenhang stehenden geset-
zlichen Anforderungen erfüllen.

2 MEDIDAS DE SEGURIDAD

características. Nunca toque los cables a manos desnudas, sobretodo para el funcionamiento con red de

• Antes de ponerla en marcha asegurarse que la línea de alimentación y el enchufe estén secos.
• No se utilice en zonas demasiado polvorosas. El polvo podría obstruir los conductos de areación dañando así el
frigorífico.

Atención: peligro de calentamiento!
Asegurarse de que el calor generado durante el funcionamiento salga de manera suficiente. Asegurarse de que la
distancia entre el aparato y las paredes u otros objetos permita al aire circular libremente (por lo menos 30 cm.)
• No versar ningún tipo de líquido o hielo en el contenedor interno.
• Nunca sumergir el aparato en el agua.
• Proteger el aparato y los cables del calor y de la humedad.
• Para evitar el calentamiento o malfuncionamiento, asegurarse de que el enchufe principal tenga un buen contacto
eléctrico en la toma del automóvil.
• Después de su uso, no tocar la punta metálica del enchufe principal ya que podría alcanzar temperaturas
elevadas.
• Gio’Style declina cualquier responsabilidad por daños causados por un uso no conforme a la destinación
o por un empleo incorrecto.
3 CONEXIONES
•Conexión a la toma del encendedor de cigarrillos 12Vdc
- Extraer o conectar el cable 12Vdc a la tapa del aparato (según el modelo)
- Introducir el enchufe (fig.1) en la toma del encendedor de cigarrillos
• Conexión a la red de alimentación doméstica en corriente alternada 230Vac (en los modelos previstos)
- Conectar los cables 230Vac a la tapa del aparato
- Introducir el enchufe (fig.2) en la toma de corriente alternada

Conectar SIEMPRE el enchufe principal hacia la parte correcta
Atención!
Para los modelos de doble alimentación: NUNCA conectar contemporáneamente el cable de alimentación 12Vdc y el
cable de alimentación 230Vac.
4 INDICACIONES DE USO
• Por motivos higiénicos, cada vez que se utilice el frigorífico, limpiar el interior y exterior del aparato con una esponja húmeda.
• Se aconseja introducir al interno del frigorífico eléctrico alimentos y bebidas previamente enfriadas.
• Dejar enfriar los alimentos calientes antes de guardarse en el aparato.
• Colocar el frigorífico en una base estable.
• El frigorífico se deberá abrir los menos posible y cerrarlo inmediatamente, para mantener al interno una temperatura
constante.
• Aún si el frigorífico está apagado, gracias a su especial aislamiento, los alimentos y las bebidas se mantendrán frescos
bastante tiempo. Para potenciar y prolongar en el tiempo el efecto refrigerante, se aconseja el empleo de acumuladores
originales de frío Gio’Style (véase tabla accesorios).
• Atención!
Si tiene que enfriar medicinales, verifique que el aparato disponga de una potencia frigorífica suficiente como para
satisfacer los requisitos de los respectivos fármacos (véase tabla prestaciones).
• Atención!
El dispositivo permite guardar los alimentos y bebidas frías en su embalaje original.
No se utilice el producto por períodos superiores a las 36 horas de funcionamiento continuo.
Un utilizo prolongado y continuativo puede reducir las prestaciones o dañar el sistema refrigerante.
Una vez apagado el frigorífico, esperar por lo menos 2 horas antes de volverlo a poner en función.
• Atención!
Después de un largo período de funcionamiento, es posible que se deposite agua al interno del frigorífico. Esto es
normal porque la humedad del aire, enfriándose, se condensa.
El frigorífico no se ha avariado. Si es necesario, eliminar la eccesiva humedad con un paño seco.
• Nota!
El enfriamiento ocurre mediante sistema refrigerante Peltier falto de CFC y de líquidos refrigerantes.

5 FUNCIONAMIENTO
• Una vez que se conecta a la fuente energética el frigorífico incia a funcionar. El frigorífico eléctrico puede enfriar y
mantener fríos los alimentos.
• Para apagar el frigorífico desconectar simplemente el cable de alimentación.
• Las performance del frigorífico están reportadas en las tablas relaticas a cada producto (véase sección: TEST),
en donde por cada valor de temperatura externa corresponde una temperatura interna media. Los datos se
refieren al frigorífico vacío, después de un funcionamiento de 180 min. Los datos reportados en la tabla pueden
variar más o menos de 1,5°C.
• Atención!
Para salvaguardar la batería de los automóviles que una vez apagados siguen alimentando el frigorífico (excluso
los modelos donde se prevee en dotación) se aconseja utilizar el Power battery controller (véase tabla accesorios).
• Nota!
El modelo SHIVER 40 dispone del sistema Battery Saver y display para la lectura de la temperatura interna.
(Véanse indicaciones en el párrafo 5-B).
6 LIMPIEZA Y MANUTENCIÓN
• Atención!
Antes de efectuar la limpieza del frigorífico eléctrico desconectar del enchufe de red o de la toma del encendedor
de cigarrillos.
• Atención!
Nunca sumergir el frigorífico bajo el agua corriente.
• Para la limpieza no emplear detergentes corrosivos ni objetos abrasivos.
• Limpiar de vez en cuando el interno y externo del frigorífico con una esponja húmeda.
• Proteger la tapa refrigerante de la penetración de líquidos, arena o polvo.
7 PROBLEMAS Y SOLUCIONES

8 GARANTÍA
• El frigorífico tiene garantía de 24 meses a partir del día de la adquisición contra defectos de fabricación que no se atribuyen a
un uso inapropiado.
• Si el producto resultara defectuoso, le rogamos comunicarse al servicio consumidor Gio’style en el sitio: www.giostyle.com,
o contactar el distribuidor más cercano (véase elenco al reverso del manual).
• Para que las condiciones de garantía sean válidas es necesario tener la siguiente documentación:
- una copia de la factura con la fecha de adquisición del producto.
- el motivo de la reclamación, o la descripción de la avería.
9 ELIMINACIÓN
Eliminar los materiales de embalaje en los basureros apropiados sin arrojarlo en el ambiente.
Cuando el aparato está fuera de uso definitivamente, informarse en el centro de reciclaje más cercano, o con el
propio revendedor especializado, sobre las prescripciones adecuadas de su eliminación.
Sistema colectivo para la gestión de los RAEE (Residuos de AparatosEléctricos y Electrónicos), constituido por
empresas que producen y/o comercializan aparatos eléctricos y electrónicos de tipologías y funcionalidades
diversas.
El Decreto Legislativo 151/05 establece que los costos de las actividades de recolección y tratamiento de los
RAEE son responsabilidad de los productores los cuales, a través del sistema colectivo a que han adherido,
cumplen las obligaciones establecidas por la ley en este ámbito.
Gio’Style Lifestyle S.p.A. se adhiere al Consorzio Remedia para cumplir con las obligaciones operativas
y financiarias puestas a cargo de Dlgs 151/05, transporte, recolocación, tratamiento, recupero, reciclaje y
eliminación de los RAEE domésticos.

2 VEILIGHEIDSAANWIJZINGEN
• Indien het apparaat zichtbare defecten vertoont, zet het dan niet in werking.
• Reinig vóór het gebruik zorgvuldig de binnenkant.
• Plaats de koelbox niet in de buurt van open vuur of directe warmtebronnen, en dompel hem ook niet onder water.
• Zorg ervoor dat de luchtroosters vrij zijn.
• Het apparaat mag alleen door gespecialiseerd personeel gerepareerd worden; onjuist uitgevoerde reparaties
kunnen ernstige risico’s met zich meebrengen. (zie paragraaf Garantie)
• We raden aan de voedingsmiddelen in hun originele verpakking of op anderszins geschikte wijze verpakt te
bewaren.
• De koelbox is niet geschikt voor het vervoeren van bijtende stoffen of oplosmiddelen.
• Huishoudelijke apparaten zijn geen speelgoed!
Bewaar en gebruik het apparaat buiten het bereik van kinderen.
Let erop dat de kinderen niet met het apparaat spelen.
• Sluit het apparaat alleen op de volgende wijze aan:
- met een 230Vac-kabel op een netwerk met wisselstroom (indien aanwezig).
- met een 12Vdc-kabel op de sigarettenaansteker van de auto.
• Haal nooit de stekker uit de sigarettenaansteker of uit het stopcontact door aan het snoer te trekken.
• Indien het snoer beschadigd is, moet dit vervangen worden door een snoer van hetzelfde type en met dezelfde
kenmerken. Raak nooit open kabels met de blote handen aan, vooral niet die voor het elektriciteitsnet met
wisselstroom:

• Trek altijd de stekker eruit alvorens het apparaat schoon te maken, en na ieder gebruik.
• Vergelijk de spanningsgegevens op het plaatje met die van de beschikbare contacten en aansluitingen.
• Controleer, alvorens het apparaat aan te zetten, of het snoer en de stekker droog zijn.
• Niet in zeer stoffige ruimtes gebruiken. Het stof kan de luchtleidingen verstoppen en zo de koelbox beschadigen.
Attentie: gevaar voor oververhitting!
Controleer of de vrijgekomen warmte goed kan ontsnappen tijdens de werking. Zorg ervoor dat de afstand tussen
het apparaat en de wanden of andere objecten voldoende is om de lucht vrij te laten circuleren (minstens 30 cm).
• Giet geen vloeistoffen of ijs in de koelbox.
• Dompel het apparaat nooit onder water.
• Bescherm het apparaat en de snoeren tegen hitte en vochtigheid.
• Controleer, om oververhitting of een slechte werking te voorkomen, of de penstekker goed elektrisch contact
maakt met de aansluiting in de auto.
• Raak na gebruik de metalen punt van de penstekker niet aan, deze kan zeer heet worden.
• Gio’Style wijst iedere aansprakelijkheid af voor schade die het gevolg is van gebruik dat niet overeenkom-
stig de bestemming is, of onjuist gebruik.
3 AANSLUITINGEN
•Aansluiting aan de sigarettenaansteker 12Vdc
- Het 12Vdc-snoer uit het deksel van het apparaat eruit halen of eraan verbinden (afhankelijk van het model)
- De carplug (fig.1) in de sigarettenaansteker steken
•Aansluiting op het elektriciteitsnet met wisselstroom 230Vac (voor de modellen met deze mogelijkheid)
- Het 230Vac-snoer aan het deksel van het apparaat verbinden
- De stekker (fig.2) in het stopcontact steken
