You will need the following tools
 Screw Driver  3mm Hex. Spanner  2mm Hex. Spanner
 Selection of Dismantling Tools
Tools For Disassembling Cylinder ssy.

Steps Of Dismantling GPW-220
Disassembling Instructions ssembling Instructions


 Disassemble Exhaust Plate Set (1),
Take off Cylinder ssembly (2).


 Remove Pad (3) by using spanner.


 Loosen Locking Screw Cap (6) and
take off Spindle ssembly (7).


 Take off Water Inlet Transfer Pos
(8).


 Take off Oil Seal (9).


 Assemble Spindle ssembly (7) and
tighten Locking Screw Cap (6).


 Put Cylinder ssembly (2) in the
Housing.


 Place Exhaust Plate Set (1) behind
Cylinder and loosen it.


 Assemble the Oil Seal (9) and
Water Inlet Transfer Pos (8).


 Load Pad (3) on spindle.


 WARNING ！

Please follow above Disassembling and Assembling Instructions; otherwise the
Oil Seal (9) may be broken. It will cause water leaking and damage the tool.

Water Regulator Set

( ) Maintenance of Water Regulator ssy.
 Unscrew Screw (36) with Screw Driver and take off Shifting
Knob (35).
 Use pliers to remove Spring Pin (34) and take off Bushing
(32).
 Insert Cap Screw ‘M5 x 0.8’ into Exhaust Plate Set (30), tap
the Cap Screw gently using a hammer or using hand presser to
pull out Water Regulator Set . Check and clean inside.

(B) Maintenance Steps For Cylinder ssy.
 Loosen Cap Screw (31) using 3mm Hex. Spanner and remove
Reverse Exhaust Plate Set (30).
 Take off Gasket (29), Water Inlet Tube (17), Rubber Sleeve
(28) and Cylinder Bushing (27).
 Loosen Set Screw (42) using 2mm Hex. Spanner and pull out
Cylinder ssembly (18~26).
Caution :
When reassembling Cylinder (21) Assembly, firstly put the
Cylinder (21) in right place and rotate Spindle ssembly
(3~8) and check if it spins smoothly. Tighten the Screws (42)
on ront Plate in clockwise direction by using 2mm Hex.
spanner. Secondly tighten 4 Cap Screw (31) and check again if
spindle rotates freely. If not, disassemble Cylinder Assembly
and investigate the problem.

(B-1) Replacing Consuming Parts
 Put Cylinder ssembly (18~26) on Cylinder Fix Stand
(220050-1).
 Place Rotor Disassembling Shaft (218051-2) on top of
Cylinder ssembly (18~26), use hand presser to
disassemble (Exploded View) and change Blades (23).

(B-2) Steps For Dismangling Front Plate ssy.
Place Front Plate ssembly (18,19) on Bearing Disassembling
Base (218050-5) and use Bearing Disassembling Shaft
(218050-2) to separate Cylinder Cap (19) and Bearing (18).
(B-3) Dismangling Steps For Rear Plate ssy.
Put Rear Plate ssembly (24,25,54) on Bearing Disassembling
Base (218050-5) and use Bearing Disassembling Shaft
(218050-2) and 6.1mm Shaft (218050-3) to separate Rear
Cylinder Cap (24) and Bearing (25).

(B-4) ssembling Steps For Cylinder ssy.
 Press Bearing (25) into Rear Plate (24).
 Place Rear Plate ssembly (24,25,54) on Front Plate Base
(218051-6), press Bearing Compress Shaft (218051-5) into
Rotor (22) and press it into Rear Plate ssembly
(24,25,54).Place 4 Blades (23) into the groove of Rotor (22).

 Place Cylinder (21) on the assembly shown on Setp 2 and
ensure the Spring Pin (20) matches the small ixed Hole in
Rear Cylinder Cap (24).
 Plate Cylinder Cap (19) on the assembly shown on Step 3,
press in Bearings (18) using Bearing Compress Shaft
(218051-5).

1/2" Impact Wrench
(C) Maintenance Steps For Spindle Ass .
 Place Socket (218027) on Locking Screw Cap (10) and loosen
it using 1/2” Impact Wrench.
 Take off Spindle ssembly (3~8).

(C-1) Replacing Consuming Parts
 Use pliers to remove Locking Key (5), take off Bearing (8)
and Spiral Gear (7) for changing consuming parts.
 Put Rotor Disassembling Shaft (218051-2) on top of
Spindle (4) and use hand presser to separate Spindle (4) and
Bearing (3) for changing Bearing (3).
