About this Manual
This user manual was made to be used with the GKB 35 Series Camera. This
document contains important information and instructions detailing proper
operation and maintenance of GKB 35 Series Camera.
Be aware that before installing or operating the unit, please read all safety
notes and warnings provided in this manual.
GKB 35 Series is a surveillance device for use in security systems that assist in the
management of security. GKB is not liable nor can be held responsible for any

Precaution
1. Do not drop the camera.
SDI Camera is not designed to resist heavy impact. Handle
with care to avoid damage to sensitive internal components.
2. Do not install camera under extreme
temperatures.
SDI Camera operates only under temperature conditions
between -10˚C ~ 50˚C and with good ventilation.
3. Do not expose the camera to radioactivity and
mount facing strong light sources.
Exposing the camera to radioactivity or strong light over long
periods of time will damage the camera’s sensor.
4. Do not supply voltage higher than 12V DC.
SDI Camera regulates power within this range. Higher
voltages will damage the camera’s electronic components.
5. Do not install the camera in environments with
extreme humidity.
Installing SDI Camera in environments with extreme humidity
may cause moisture to condense on the surface of the lens or
dome cover affecting picture quality.
6. Do not install the camera under unstable light
conditions.
Installing SDI Camera in environments with unstable light
conditions may cause the camera to function abnormally.

Camera OSD SETUP MENU
Operating the OSD Menu
!The button provides five separate
actions: UP, DOWN, R, L and Enter.
!Press Enter to go to the OSD Menu.
!Press UP, DOWN, R, or L to select
items on the menu and begin
configuration.
1. LENS
ELC & ALC are two different types for setting.
ELC with NORMAL & DEBLUR modes; ALC
with OUTDOOR/ INDOOR/ DEBLUR, three
modes that can be adjusted to 0-10 speed.
2. EXPOSURE
EXP MODE allows you to adjust BRIGHTNESS:
0-20; SHUTTER: AUTO/MANUAL/FLICKER ;
SENS-UP: OFF-X32 ; AGC: 0-20
3. WHITE BAL
Adjusts the image color in accordance with
lightning conditions by selecting one of the
different white balance modes. Adjust the
White Balance by selecting AUTO/ MANUAL/
PUSH.
4. BACKLIGHT
BACKLIGHT corrects exposure of subjects in
front of a bright light source. Adjust WDR to
improve strong light contrast and BLC function when there is a strong light behind the
object. HLC masks strong light.
5. DNR
With Digital Noise Reduction (3D-DNR) embedded, camera reduces the noise at night,

surveillance.
6. DAY&NIGHT
Camera menu allows the adjustment of different configurations to obtain image settings
during Day/Night surveillance. Adjust DAY/NIGHT by selecting AUTO/EXT CDS/ EXT
LOW/ EXT HIGH/ B&W/ COLOR
7. IMAGE
Sharpness and Color Gain are adjustable
and can be set in different levels. FREEZE
stops the image. REVERSE rotates the
image. D-ZOOM: 1-x8; D-WDR: High/
Middle/ Low; Defog ON clears blur
image.
8. SPECIAL
Motion configuration allows the user to
set 4 different motion detection areas.
Privacy Configuration allows masking up
to 15 different surveillance-free zones of
the video image display.
SHADING: Before adjusting shading
weight, go to “ADJUST"SHADING DET:
ON”. After detecting the shading area,
increase brightness.
ADJUST: FOCUS ADJ. Allows focus
adjustment; the height of the bar
indicates the level of focus achieved.
9. RESET
Resets Camera back to Factory default setting.
