IMPORTANT
Never leave the paddleboard exposed to direct sunlight when out of
water for an extended period of time. Try to keep in the shade when not
in the water. If you must expose your board to direct sunlight during
transport or temporary storage, it is best to keep the bottom facing up.
Glide boards can hold up to 25 PSI, however, the recommended PSI is
12-14 PSI as the board will remain rigid at 14 PSI and no further benefit
is gained when inflating over 14 PSI.
If inflated cold to 25 PSI, and then the board is placed in direct sunlight
pressure will increase from the heat causing potential over inflation and
damage to the seams - this is not covered by warranty.
Over time, the pump may naturally lose lubrication and you may need to
reapply. We reccommend white lithium grease. To lubricate, unscrew the
top and pull out plungers and spread a thin layer of lubricant on the black
gasket on the bottom of each plunger and then reassemble. Also, regularly
clean the air filter located under the pressure gauge. The gauge unscrews
from the top by hand.
Sun, sand and saltwater will degrade any man-made material over time.
Rinse off sand and saltwater deposits from your paddle board with fresh
water and store in a cool, dry enviorment after each use.
