Engine Break-In
There is never a more important period in the life of your machine than the
period between zero and 20 hours.
For this reason, we ask that you carefully read the following material.
Because the engine is brand new, you must not put excessive load on the
engine for the rst several hours of operation. During the rst 20 hours, the
various parts in the engine wear and polish themselves to the correct
operating clearances.
During this period, prolonged full throttle operation or any condition which
might result in excessive engine heating must be avoided.
However, momentary (2-3 second maximum) full throttle operation under
load does not harm the engine. Each full throttle acceleration sequence
should be followed with a substantial rest period for the engine by cruising at
lower r/min so the engine can rid itself of the temporary build-up of heat.
If any abnormality is noticed this period, consult your dealer.
0-10 Hours
- Avoid continuous operation above half throttle. Allow a cooling o period of
ve to ten minutes after every hour of operation. Vary the speed of the
machine from time to time. Do not operate it at one set throttle position.
10-20 Hours
- Avoid prolonged operation above 3/4 throttle. Rev the machine freely
through the gears but do not use full throttle at any time.
After brake-in
- Avoid prolonged full throttle operation. Vary speeds occasionally.
Operation
WARNING: Prior to operating the Fun-Kart, review the assembly instructions
to make sure the Fun-Kart has been assembled properly.
Operating Controls
WARNING - DO NOT attempt to start or operate this product until you are
completely familiar and understand the user manual and product, including
the locations of each operation control.
You must know how to stop this product before you start it.
Check throttle assembly to make sure it is working smoothly and returns to
idle when released.
Check brake system to make sure it is working properly before starting
engine.
Check the engine stop switch to make sure it is working properly before
operating the product.

tion of a malfunction or errors in the starting procedure. DO NOT continue to
start the engine> pause a few seconds and then try again. If the engine fails
to start, contact dealer for assistance.
RUNNING
Operate the product in a large, level, open space in order to learn to start,
steer and stop properly. Operate the product at low speed until you are
comfortable and condent in operating it. Avoid sharp turns, high speed and
rough ground at all times.
• Always stay at low speeds when turning
• Always keep all four tyres on the ground
• Remember “the sharper the turn, the lower the speed”
• Do not race, jump or perform stunts
STOPPING
Release the throttle to return the engine speed to idle. Apply the brake pedal
to stop the motion.
• Operator must not be too small or too large for the product
• Operator must be of sufficient age, understanding, mental capacity
and physical capability to safely operate the product

obstacles
• The product is tted with an axle that drive both rear wheels at the
same time. Therefore when turning the inside wheel may lose traction
slightly. The new rider must learn to shift weight and control the
throttle to allow the rear tyres to negotiate the turn
1. Practice turning at slow, controlled, constant speed in a large open
area
2. Turn the steering wheel in the direction you wish to turn
3. Leave your body to the inside of the turn in order to maximise front
tyre traction
4. Use the throttle to maintain power throughout the turn
Once this is learned a turn can be performed in a relatively small area.
SLIPPERY SURFACES AND SKIDS
• WARNING: ALWAYS SLOW DOWN on slippery services.
• Turns on slippery surfaces are more hazardous than when full
traction is available.
• A skid on ice, loose gravel or wet ground can cause loss of all
directional control.
• A skid on pavement is dangerous because the product may regain
traction suddenly and unexpectedly which can cause the product to
overturn.
• Slippery surfaces reduce braking force and distances
1. If the front wheels tend to skid in mud, sand or snow, you may be
able to improve control by releasing the throttle and allowing the
product to coast through the turn
2. If the rear wheels skid sideways, correct the slide by steering in the
direction of the skid, avoid braking and accelerating until you have
control.
OPERATING THE PRODUCT MAINTENANCE & ADJUSTMENT
Periodic inspection, adjustment and lubrication will keep your machine in the
safest and most ecient condition possible. Safety is the obligation of the
product owner. The most important points of the machine inspection,
adjustment and lubrication are explained on the following pages.
The service information included in this manual is intended to provide you
with the necessary information for completing your own preventative
maintenance and minor repairs. A torque wrench will also be necessary to
properly tighten nuts and bolts.

14.
MAINTENANCE & ADJUSTMENT
In some cases to do a service the machine may require special tools, Data and
technical skills. Have a dealer perform the service.
ENGINE OIL
Engine oil level measurement
1. Place the product on a level surface
2. Start the engine and warm it up until the engine has reached a
normal operating temperature. Let it idle for another minute and
then turn the engine o.
3. Remove the dipstick and wipe it clean with a clean rag. Insert back
into the ller hole without screwing it in
4. Remove again and inspect the oil level
5. The oil level should be between the maximum and minimum marks.
If the level is low, add oil to raise it to the specied level.
ENGINE OIL REPLACEMENT
1. Place the product on a level surface
2. Start the engine and warm it up until the engine has reached a
normal operating temperature. Let it idle for another minute and
then turn the engine o.
3. Place an empty container under the drain bolt
4. Remove the dipstick and drain bolt to drain the oil
5. Inspect the o ring and replace if damaged
6. Install the drain bolt and tighten to specication
7. Fill the engine oil and install the dipstick
8. Warm up the engine for several minutes at idle speed, checking for
leaks.
SPARK PLUG GAP
When installing the spark plug, always clean the gasket surface and its mating
surface. Wipe of any grime from the threads and tighten to the specied
torque.
AIR FILTER ELEMENT CLEANING
1. Remove the air lter case cover by removing the screw
2. Remove the air lter element
3. Wash the air lter element gently but thoroughly in solvent
4. Squeeze the excess solvent out of the air lter element and let it dry
5. If damaged, replace it
6. Apply quality foam air lter oil to the air lter element. If foam Air
Filter oil is not available SAE10W30 motor oil may be used
7. Install air lter element
8. Install the airlter case cover by tightening the screw to the lter case

NOTE: The air lter element should be cleaned every 20-40 hour. It should be
cleaned and lubricated more often if the product is operated in dusty. Each
time air lter element maintenance is performed, check the air lter case,
carburettor and carburettor manifold ttings for an airtight seal. Tighten all
ttings securely to avoid any possibility of unltered air inserting into the
engine.
CARBURETTOR ADJUSTMENT
The carburettor is a vital part of the engine and requires sophisticated
adjustment. Most adjustments should be left to the dealer who has profes-
sional knowledge and experience to do so. However, the idling speed may be
performed as part of the usual maintenance routine.
CAUTION:
The carburettor was set at the factory after many tests. If settings are
disturbed by someone without sucient technical knowledge, poor
engine performance and damage may result.
IDLE SPEED ADJUSTMENT
1. Start the engine and warm up for a few minutes at 1000-2000 RPM.
Occasionally rev the engine to 4000-5000 RPM. The engine is warm
when it responds quickly to the throttle.
2. Connect the tachometer and set the idle to the specied idling
speed by adjusting the throttle stop screw. Turn the screw clockwise
to increase the engine speed. And counter clockwise to decrease the
engine speed.
15.
MAINTENANCE & ADJUSTMENT
THROTTLE CABLE ADJUSTMENT
The throttle cable housing may need to be adjusted periodically because the
cable stretches when fully depressed the throttle pedal activates full engine
speed, adjust the throttle cable housing.
1. Fully loosen jam nuts (1) and (2) and mount the throttle cable
housing to the frame.
2. Pull the throttle cable housing toward the rear of the machine until
you feel resistance.
NOTE: Do not pull the throttle cable housing any further
3. Hold the throttle cable in this position and screw the front jam nut
(2) against the frame.
4. Screw the rear jam nut (1) against the frame
5. Tighten the front jam nut(1)securely
6. Make the engine throttle linkage is in the idle position and the
throttle pedal is against the rear stop
7. Block the rear end of machine o the ground and start the engine. If
the engine is not at idle speed. Stop the engine and repeat the about
procedures.
WARNING: The engine must be at idle speed when the throttle pedal is in the
rear position. Failure to adjust the throttle properly may result in personal
injury and/or vehicle damage. If you are unable to properly adjust the throttle
contact your dealer for assistance.

MAINTENANCE & ADJUSTMENT
FRONT AND REAR BRAKE PAD INSPECTION
A wear indicator is provided on each brake pad. The indicator allows checking
the brake pad wear without disassembling the calliper. If the brake pads are
worn to the wear limit they will need to be replaced.
BRAKE FLUID LEVEL INSPECTION
Insucient brake uid may let air enter the brake system. Possibly causing the
brakes to become ineective.
Before riding, check the brake uid is above the minimum level mark and
replenish if necessary. A low brake uid level may indicate a worn brake pads
and/or brake system leakage. If the brake uid level is low be sure to check
brake pads for wear and brake system for leakage.
• When checking the brake uid level, make sure the top of the brake
uid reservoir is level
• Use only DOT 4 Brake uid, otherwise the rubber seal may deterio
rate, causing leakage and poor brake performance
• Rell with the same type of brake uid. Mixing uid may result in
harmful chemical reaction and lead to poor brake performance
• Be careful no water enters the brake uid reservoir when relling.
Water will signicantly lower the boiling point of the uid and may
result in a vapour lock
• Have your dealer check the cause if the brake uid level goes down
PARKING BRAKE ADJUSTMENT
Parking brake adjustment may be required if the parking brake does not hold
properly. The cable length (A in diagram) should be adjusted to 50-55mm.
1. Fully loosen the locknut 1 at the rear caliper
2. Tur the adjusting nut 1 on the brake lever counter clockwise to
increase the cable length or clockwise the cable length
3. Tighten the lock nut at the rear caliper
DRIVE CHAIN SLACK CHECK
Inspect the drive chain while all tyres are touching the ground. Check the
slack of the drive chain. The normal vertical deection is approx.. 15-25mm. If
the deection exceeds 300, adjust the chain slack.
DRIVE CHAIN SLACK ADJUSTMENT
1. Loosen the locknut of the engine install bolt
2. Turn the adjusting nut on the engine install bolt clockwise to tighten
the drive chain or counter clockwise to loosen
3. Tighten the locknut of the engine install
4. Adjust nut torque – 45Nm
LUBRICATING THE DRIVE CHAIN
The drive chain must be checked prior to every ride and if required cleaned
and lubricated. Otherwise it will quickly wear out. Especially when riding in
dusty or wet areas. Service the drive chain as follow:-
CAUTION: The drive chain must be lubricated after washing the product
