INTRODUCTION
Thank you for purchasing our Heater/Humidifier GHH100 each individual unit has
been manufactured to ensure safety and reliability to bring you many years of
personal comfort. Please read the following instructions carefully before operating
your new Heater/Humidifier and be sure to keep this manual for further reference.
IMPORTANT SAFEGUARDS
• Do not use the heater in the immediate surroundings of a bath, shower,
swimming pool or any water sources. Do not use outdoors.
• Do not use the appliance to dry any object or obstruct the air inlet and outlet
vents.
• Do not place the heater near heating devices, aerosols or materials sensitive to
heat. Do not place the appliance near any object which may be drawn into the air
inlet vent.
• Do not insert any objects into the inlet or outlet vents.
• Ensure that water is not spilled on the appliance at any time.
• Ensure the mains lead cannot be tripped over or pulled such that the heater
would tip or fall over.
• Do not remove the plug by pulling on the main cord.
• The fan heater must not be located immediate below a socket – outlet.
• Do not use this fan heater with a programmer, timer or any other device that
switches the heater on automatically, since a fire risk exists if the heater is
covered or positioned incorrectly.
• Only use the fan heater with it standing on its base or using the mounting bracket.
• Always turn the appliance off, unplug it and allow the whole unit too cool down
before moving the unit, cleaning it or whenever it is not in use.
• Do not allow children to use the appliance, keep it out of their reach.
• Keep the appliance out of reach of animals.
• Ensure that the plug is fully pushed into the socket and correctly engaged before
using the unit.
• Do not let the main cord touch hot surfaces and avoid twisting or kinking it.
• If power supply cord or product becomes damaged, in order to avoid potential
hazards do not use the appliance but return it to Goldair (see warranty for details)
• Do not operate the humidifier without water in the tank, or water level is lower
than the minimum requirement.
• Use only clean, cool tap water to fill tank. Do not add scented oils or chemicals to
the water tank.
• Care should be taken when pouring water into the tank.
• Use a cup or container to fill the water tank, if water is spilled on the appliance
accidentally, do not use the appliance until it is absolutely dry.
• Ensure the appliance is turned off, unplugged and absolutely cold before filling
the tank.
• Ensure that the vapor cover/outlet is closed before turning on the humidifier.
• Do not touch the vapor cover/outlet when the humidifier is in operation.
• Do not block the vapor cover/outlet.
• Do not place the appliance in a position where the mist will come into direct
contact with furniture, carpets, curtains or walls.
• Do not attempt to use the humidifier if the water is frozen, allow it to thaw at room
temperature.

GETTING TO KNOW YOUR HEATER/HUMIDIFIER

POWER LIGHT (1)
When illuminated, indicates that the heater or humidifier is powered. When
extinguished, indicates that the unit has been switched off.
MAIN CONTROL (3)
This Control is used to turn your Heater/Humidifier ON or OFF. Also, there are other
functions for the control and they are shown as follows:

I OFF
II Activate the fan only (for Summer use)
III Activate the heater to medium heat
IV Activate the heater to maximum heat
V Activate the humidifier and the fan
VI Activate the humidifier & heater with medium heat
VII Activate the humidifier & heater with maximum heat

THERMOSTAT CONTROL (2)
The heat output is controlled by the thermostat, according to room temperature. Set
the dial to the number you wish (* is the minimum “approximately 6oC, and 10 is the
maximum “ approximately 35oC”). When the room temperature is reached, the
heater will turn off automatically to maintain your selected temperature. When the
temperature drops, the thermostat will click on the appliance again. The appliance
will keep turning ON and OFF. The turning off position “O” on the main control must
be selected in order to shut down the unit permanently.
WATER TANK
The water tank for the humidifier is located inside the fan heater, which can not be
removed. The fill the water tank :
1) Turn the unit off, unplug the main cord and allow the whole appliance to cool
down.
2) Open the vapor cover/outlet (9) carefully add cold tap water into the water inlet.
3) When the water level indicator is showing maximum stop adding water into the
tank and close the vapor cover/outlet.
Note: when the water is filled exceeding the maximum level, excess water will pour
out from the water drain outlet (10). Do not add water into the tank by
placing the fan heater directly under the tap.
MOUNTING THE FAN HEATER ON A WALL
A mounting bracket (6) is provided for each individual unit, two 4mm diameter screws
are needed for fixing the bracket on a wall “the flat side of the bracket face to the
wall” and ensure that the bracket is fixed on the wall firmly. The fan heater can then
be hung by placing the handle (7) on the bracket. Also, the fan heater must be
installed at least 1.8m above the floor.
CLEANING
When the unit is used daily, weekly cleaning is recommended. Regular cleaning also
prevents dust accumulation within the inlet and outlet vents.
Before cleaning your fan heater, turn off the heater and disconnect it by removing the
plug from the power supply socket and allow the unit to cool. Do not use detergents
or abrasive to clean any parts of the unit, then wipe with a dry cloth to remove dust
on the vents and a damp cloth (not wet) clean off the stains be careful not to allow
moisture into the heater.

TROUBLE SHOOTING

STORAGE TIPS
If you do not plan to use your Heater/Humidifier for an extended period of time (i.e.
during the summer months), it is important that you follow these instructions to help
prevent stagnation of water in the unit.
1. Clean your Fan Heater as instructed in the section titled “Cleaning”.
2. Make sure all water is emptied from the tank. Water can be poured out from
either the vapor cover/outlet (9) or the water outlet (10). Before doing this,
ensure that the power plug is disconnected.
3. Dry the unit thoroughly.
4. Pack your fan heater in its original carton and store in a cool, dry place.

CONNECTION TO THE MAINS SUPPLY
The wires in the mains lead are coloured in accordance with the following code:
BROWN - LIVE (L)
BLUE - NEUTRAL (N)
GREEN/YELLOW - EARTH (E)
As the colours of the wires in the mains lead of this appliance may not correspond with the
coloured markings identifying the terminals in your plug, proceed as follows:
• The BLUE wire is the NEUTRAL and must be connected to the terminal
which is marked with the letter N or coloured BLACK
• The BROWN wire is the LIVE and must be connected to the terminal
which is marked with the letter L or coloured RED.
• The wire which is coloured GREEN/YELLOW must be connected to the
terminal which is marked E or coloured GREEN or GREEN/YELLOW.
Always ensure that the cord grip is positioned and securely fastened.
