Periodic maintenance and inspection is required on all pumps to ensure proper operation. Unit must be clear of debris and sediment. Inspect for leaks and loose bolts. Failure to do so
voids warranty.

GENERAL
Mounting frame is designed to support a pump end and driver while also providing
a convenient way to secure the entire assembly to a suitable grounding base plane.
GROUNDING BASE PLANE
Mounting frame must be secured to a grounding base plane. Grounding plane
must be at, level, and of sucient strength and size to support the entire frame/
driver/pump assembly along with any loads the piping system generates. Frame
is designed to provide a convenient form of mounting the driver/pump. It is not
designed to handle excessive piping system loads or provide total support in and
of itself. Frame is designed to transfer the loads to a at grounding base plane that
supports the entire frame. If frame is not supported correctly, damage to frame and
pump assembly may occur.
FRAME MOUNTING FASTENER LAYOUT
Refer to Figure 1
Frame mounting holes are sized to accommodate 3/8” [10 mm] diameter fasteners.
Ref. Drawing 1 is provided for fastener spacing and layout. Due to dimensional
tolerances and assembly variations, it is best to measure your actual unit to
determine the exact fastener spacing before installation.
VIBRATION
Mounting frame can be fastened directly to the grounding plane, but if unit vibration
is excessive during operation, pump damage may occur. Some form of vibration
dampening mount between pump/frame assembly and grounding plane should be
considered.
PUMP/DRIVER TO FRAME MOUNTING
Refer to Figure 2
If A200-90 or A200-91 mounting frame is purchased as an accessory to be mounted
to a pump in the eld, adhere to the following instructions:
• Measure vertical distance from pump end support foot or casing bottom to
motor mounting foot.
• If distance is 0 to 1.3”, fasten motor to frame “driver mount” with bolts, nuts
and washers.
• If distance is 1.3” to 2”, the driver support must rst be repositioned. Remove
four M12 bolts holding driver mount to mounting rails. Move driver mount up
and install M12 bolts into lower set of holes in driver mount. Realign frame
cross members. Torque bolts to 35 ft-lb [47 N-m]. Fasten motor to driver mount
with bolts, nuts and washers.
• If distance is greater than 2.1”, motor must be spaced above driver mount as
needed. Adding spacers will void any warranty.
• Loosen four M12 bolts securing pump support to mounting rails. Slide pump
support up until it supports the pump foot or casing bottom. If pump foot has
provisions for mounting bolts, holes must be drilled into the pump support at
the appropriate locations. Secure pump foot with appropriate fasteners (not
provided).
A200-91 AUXILIARY PLATE MOUNTING
To mount 254/284JM motors to A200 frame
• First install auxiliary plate A200-105-01. Position plate on A200 driver mount
with engraved part number towards the pump support. Center plate on motor
support aligning six 3/8-16 tapped holes with through holes in motor support.
• Install six 3/8-16x1 hex screws provided securing plate to driver mount. Torque
to 26 ft-lb.
• Mount motor foot to plate with appropriate length 1/2-13 hex screws (not
provided).
• To mount 487 series pump casing (when equipped with 254JM XP Hazardous
Duty Motor) to pump support. First install auxiliary plate A200-106-01.
• Position plate on A200 pump support with engraved part number towards open
end of frame away from motor support. Align two through holes in plate with
slots in pump support.
• Install two 3/8-16 hex bolts, at washers and hex nuts. Final torque 25 ft-lb.
after nal alignment.
• Mount casing feet to plate with appropriate length 3/8-16 screws with at
washers. Torque bolts suciently to secure casing to plate.
REPAIR/REPLACEMENT PARTS
Mounting frame is available as a complete unit only. Replace entire unit if damage
occurs.

A201-90: Mounting frame for 254/284JM motor driven pumps (excludes 430A-95).
